I've noticed this place a couple of times and finally stopped in after a hike, which made for the perfect Montana day! It's a cute little cabin off the side of the road and when you first walk in, you're greeting by tons of gorgeous pottery and a cute log cabin feel. I've been hoping to get a nice local Montana pottery mug and I found the perfect one here. There's a variety of kitchen items and little decorations- a little pricey but worth it. The woman who sold me the pottery was so nice and welcoming! Of course there's coffee and treats too. I had a pumpkin spice latte and the flavor was subtle but very good. This is a perfect spot to find a great gift or have a little treat after hiking. read more

If you're in the Bozeman area, I can't recommend this place enough! I even went back and took some to the Big Sky Bravery folks (a local non profit) for some morning goodies I was so impressed with the food, not greasy, very flavorful and really clean ingredientsI I also bought the best gift for myself here as well. We had been downtown and in the shops, but a pottery piece from here is definitely what you want to take home as a souvenir of your wonderful time in Montana. Wow! From the outside I thought it was going to be a one table kind of coffee shop. So when I walked in I was surprised. It was a beautiful rustic interior with a little pottery shop, all of which was made by the owners. I got a mug with the "trout" colors. And of course, the coffee was delicious. Homemade caramel, need I say more? It's easy enough to do yet most places do not take the time. I think this is the ingredient that made my latte so yummy! My husband liked the biscuits and gravy though I found the gravy had too much flour for my taste. The portion was huge though and it was worth sharing. The staff was friendly and the whole place gave off a peaceful country feel even though it is located off the main road. We were meeting our fishing guide at 8a nearby and decided to grab coffee and a bite to eat from The Coffee Pot. There is a limited menu in the early morning, so I opted for the cinnamon roll which was delish. I fork and knifed my way through it and shared the last few bites. My friend ordered one of the breakfast burritos, it was good too! Maybe going halfsies on a sweet and savory if it's early and the full menu isn't avail is the way to do it in the future. My iced oat latte was especially tasty, not sure what brand oat milk it is or if it's made in house but it stood out as the best oat latte I had in this area. I wanted to stop back in later in the day but we weren't finished until long after they close for the day. Great spot and lots of pottery for my fellow pottery lovers. I found this place while driving buy to the airport and thought it looked pretty awesome. I stopped by for a Moca and a Pecan Pie ( which I missed my flight because of lol). Pecan pie was indeed on the sweeter side and a bit too sweet for me, but I have to give it full credit for how delicious it was. It's clear that they baked goods are all freshly made. Secondly, I had their Moca which wow!! Bomb!!! It had lots of caffeine, just how I like it. The chocolate in the bottom have it a nice sweet taste. I strongly recommend this gem for locals and now locals to grab a baked good and coffe. This place is using 100% CDC guidelines and I left comfortable coming in and maybe even sitting down. read more

This place stood out as we noticed it's reviewed by tour guides in the area who use it as the first stop in their activities. To start, this location is connected to a quaint pottery shop which offers incredible hand-made ceramic mugs and dishes. We were so grateful to have stumbled across it! The food and coffee was super tasty with massive portions. They had several vegetarian options, which I appreciated a lot. The award-winning cinnamon rolls were also incredible-- you bake them at home using very straightforward instructions. They're quite pricey but each roll is MASSIVE and easily feeds 2 people. The Coffee Pot is a cute stop along the way from Bozeman to Big Sky. We ordered a couple Bandito burritos and a piece of pie, while the pie was delicious the burritos were quite greasy and messy. Also, as a vegetarian there were not a ton of options that would work for my diet. The staff was friendly but also seemed a little more focused on either closing the store or chatting with each other. We saw our food sitting on the counter for several minutes before being dropped off at our table. The place has all the makings for a great cozy store, just think it may have been an off day when I was there. Will stop back again to see if my experience changes. read more

Our host recommended the The Coffee Pot as an option for coffee and homemade breakfast. We're only halfway through our week in Bozeman and I'm sure we'll wind up going there every day - that's how we are. My wife says the caramel latte is fantastic. She's had a couple of the scones and they're huge and terrific! The first time I went with the Old Timer breakfast burrito and, at the suggestion of the cashier, added sausage gravy. Now I come from a long line of gravy connoisseurs and if I had a nickel for every time someone assured me that their gravy was homemade I'd have about $42. This gravy was legit! Big chunks of sausage and served hot! Adding gravy to a breakfast burrito ranks just behind the moon landing as one of the greatest achievements in this great country. The burrito was the size of a small football and stuffed with eggs, cheese, hash browns, and - wait for it - more sausage! Today I had the biscuits and gravy. How their kitchen manages to perfectly bake a biscuit that's three inches thick is something I'll never understand. It was perf(ect) and I have no idea what I'll get tomorrow. The staff is wonderful and even had suggestions on other places we should try out. They also sell pottery made right there on site. We picked up a mug or two. read more
