Not being from the area, when I went to order, I pointed my finger over the glass partition, and was immediately barked at by one of the employees to mind the barrier. She was so incredibly rude, that I wanted to throw my loaf of bread, right back at her. Not sure why any establishment would encourage this overkill/rude behavior. Embarrassing really, and the bread was not remarkable. I've heard so many wonderful things about Wild Crumb and I finally had the chance to see what everyone has been raving about today. Firstly, the location is great. It's tucked away downtown right next to treeline coffee which is convenient if you want to pair your croissant with a specialty coffee. They offer bread, sandwiches and a huge variety of baked goods and other deserts that all looked amazing. They even offer a vegan desert! I tried the cinnamon bun and at first I was disappointed that it didn't come with frosting, but once I tasted it, all disappointment went out the window. It was unbelievably flakey, soft and flavorful. It was dusted with sugar, bursting with cinnamon and indulgent. It was easily one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had and now I know why Wild Crumb is so popular! read more

We almost didn't stop - as there was a line out the door when we got there on a Friday at 9am. But thankfully we waited (and it only took 10 minutes!). We got a blueberry muffin and their brioche cinnamon roll. I didn't even get a picture before we ate them - they were so good! **November 2025: Tuesday Morning Visit** During my research Wild Crumb came up highly recommended, so I made it a priority to pay them a visit before flying back home to California. We parked our rental about one street down as there's no parking lot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bakery is larger than what the photos onlined showed and some of the loaves of bread were enormous (I think they were $8+).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was also a really impressive mixed berry fruit pie ($28) and pecan pie ($37) that looked amazing, but alas I couldn't take it home as my carryon bags were already full *Cries* My mom and I looked at the individual pastries at the case and we decided to share one sweet and one savory pastry. The Brie & prosciutto croissant ($6.50) and Huckleberry Scone ($4.95) both came highly recommended and were delicious. We enjoyed our carbs while we waited at the airport, but I did notice a fair number of patrons enjoy their pastries/scones etc in their dining area. The croissant was very buttery and flakey, and the scone was crumbly and I really enjoyed the sweetness of the huckleberry. The bread and pastries are so good at Wild Crumb that you don't really need good service or a welcoming atmosphere, but you get all the good things!! I came for the pictured huckleberry scone, which was so good that I ended up coming back twice more over two days. The scone had fresh huckleberries and sugar topping and tasted light and fresh, which is hard for a fruit scone, but they pulled it off. When I came back the other times I got a seed topped carrot muffin, a walnut financier with maple glaze, and a turkey sandwich that was so good I almost wouldn't give it up to my kid that I promised to share it with. Each thing was tremendously tasty, but to top it off the folks behind the counter were super friendly and knowledgeable about everything they sold. Coffee was from Ghost Town Roasters and served in large carafes. It was hot and good. The only thing that was a miss for me was a gluten free chocolate hazelnut cake bite which was a bit rich, but that combination is also not my jam. (See the aforementioned kid that I was sharing food with to see who picked it). All in all, top marks for Wild Crumb. I plan on coming back here as much as possible, especially to try an amazing looking key lime pie covered in edible flowers and fresh whipped cream that I didn't have room for. Note: Be warned that parking is hard to find around here and you will probably have to wait in a line to get to the deliciousness, but both inconveniences are worth it! read more

This was our final destination in Bozeman, and was a nice little excursion before our flights. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bakery is tucked away in a cute neighborhood (parking can be a challenge) and there was a line when we got there and a line when we left.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We only ended up getting three items: their celebrated huckleberry scone, a cinnamon roll, and an almond croissant. We really liked the scone, but that's probably more because we're big fans of huckleberries than anything about it being outstanding. The almond croissant was good, as was the roll, but they were both beyond flaky--too flaky--and crumbs and powdered sugar were flying everywhere. In hindsight, we wish we had gotten a savory item to round things out because, overall, nothing was bad but nothing was capital-G Great. When you see the insane line out front know this.... The food is "ok". They look amazing so if you're doing it for the 'gram by all means stay in line. You're doing yourself a disservice by not going to Wild Crumb. The selection of pastries is vast and will make you want to keep coming back so you can try new things (speaking from first hand experience!) The carrot cake is so fresh and delicious as you can taste the flakes of carrot that pair perfectly with the icing. No matter what veggie sandwich you get, you won't be disappointed. The hummus sandwich is so flavorful and the olive spread on the caprese sandwich pairs so well with the other flavors. I couldn't be happier that the paltry breakfast at the Wyndham hotel is only served until 9 am and my wife and I missed it. I say that because, as I was going to gas up the car, I presumed that there must be a fabulous bakery in this wonderful western town...and I believe I found the best. I was there a few weeks ago. I bought a peanut butter M&M cookie, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, a GORGEOUS citrus cake covered in white chocolate with flowers, and a fruit and cream cheese danish. Everything was INCREDIBLE. I also bought a fruit tart, but I admit I prefer a traditional custard filling even though it was still good. My current obsession is their maple bourbon pecan pie, it tastes absolutely heavenly, as you get a great balance of all the flavors its name promises. Just delightful. On a Tuesday morning in April there was a line out the door, but the service was fast, orderly and really kind, which is a rare combination. The staff was truly delighted to be packaging up artisan baked goods to share with the customers, and every item we tried was delicious. Our favorite was the lunch sandwich - in particular - the turkey havarti was awesome although we wished for a wider baguette given how crunchy the edges were. We also stuffed ourselves with the meat quiche, the Frankie - hot dog baked into a cheese bread, carrot apple muffin, and lemon blueberry loaf.
