Two scoops in a waffle cone - mint chip and milk and cookies
    Maley S.

So glad I chose Genuine Ice Cream as my dessert to wrap up my evening in Bozeman! It's not a far walk if you are staying in the main downtown or one of the nearby boutique motels, but they also have parking if you drive! The joint was bustling, the line out the door but they move quickly and get their customers their sweet treats in record timing! They have a freezer for ice cream you can take home as well as some fun merch and other sweet treats for purchase. I got two scoops, mint chip (it was ok but it was very similar to a mint toothpaste ) but the milk and cookies was to die for! I was only in town for a night but I can't wait until I can go back and try a new flavor!

Got a mini Huckleberry ice cream because this flavor is unique to MT. It was so good and creamy! Not too sweet. $3.50. It comes with a cone. Employees were nice and provided samples. While other flavors were good (such as cookies ans cream) this flavor is worth trying if you are in the area. I would come back.

Who doesn't love ice cream? However in my opinion it's even better when you get the chance to try things besides the regular norm of flavors. Walked in and was greeted and while waiting I noticed they had a wheel to help you decide when you aren't sure what you want. I spinner the wheel however what I realized was the flavors on the wheel didn't match what was available. However I was able to taste a few things to make a decision on what I wanted. The ice cream was delicious and creamy and if I was a local this would be my go to spot. They have seating available inside as well as outside so there's always a time for ice cream!

Genuine ice cream had a great cone but the ice cream was not creamy or flavorful (sweet peaks is far above and beyond). They offer samples but they are inconvenient- they walk from register to get each one and hold up the line. Country music. Bright and sunny inside - blinding. Merch isn't that cute. Just okay.

Yummy ice cream at a great price. Shout out to the homemade waffle cones...one of the best I've had! They are light, flavorful, and don't kill your mouth when you eat them!!

Salted Carmel + pretzel + chocolate chip & vanilla on top. Chefs kiss

This remains my favorite ice cream place of all time! I got the chocolate Carmel pretzel and it was absolutely amazing!!! I've also tried the vanilla, strawberry and cake. Cute store in a great location as well! Excellent service and is always quick. I feel like Bozeman is getting too big too fast but this is a small town gem!

    Cone and brownie sundae

The atmosphere and art around the shop is all really cuter. The ice cream was good, nothing that set it apart from other ice cream shops (we tried the coffee toffee, cookies and milk, and peanut butter chocolate.). The best was my daughter's ordered, the brownie sundae, which we definitely recommend trying if you go here.

    Butter pecan and chocolate

Genuine is by far the best ice cream I've had. Their butter pecan in a waffle cone is actually THE BEST. I love the environment and the girls working there are always soo nice. I've tried other ice cream shops, and nothing beats genuine in my books. If genuine has no fans consider me dead.

So busy, 40 minute wait for ice cream is a bit much in my book but it was really good. It looked like one worker was doing everything and the other was making unnecessary amounts of waffle cones. They could have sped up the line if both were engaged with customers. Huckleberry and coconut were a hit with the family. A little speedier and it's 5 stars all day.

There was a line, and it only kept growing after us. Once we got inside, we saw why. The guy four customers before us was still waiting for his milkshake (taking one of the girls out of commission) by the time we checked out! You need more staff back there! The ice cream is really good, though, and they have several unique flavor profiles that we were pleasantly surprised to see available in Montana. Our daughter got a salted caramel that she loved, and one us was a bit boring with mint chocolate chip, but she was happy with it. The other one got the black bear sundae (or whatever it was called), which had chocolate and huckleberry ice cream, covered in chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Now *that* was spectacular. Can't stop won't stop with the huckleberry while we're in this state! Portions are OK. So, overall, a good spot, and we can see ourselves coming back, but man, please manage your staffing on busy spring evenings. 3.5 stars, rounding up.

Not too sweet, and I can taste both the chocolate and the orange and the orange flavor didn't taste artificial. If you've ever had the orange dark chocolate from Trader Joe's, this drink tastes just like that but with a kick of caffeine. My husband got the Cafe Vienese which is a mocha with cinnamon. Four years ago we started incorporating private chefs into our annual ski trip as a way to bring fine dinning into the comforts of home. I do a healthy screening of who I want to work with and get bids from three vendors always. As much as I like to control everything, it all clicked when I first spoke with Melissa. She understood what I wanted to accomplish, she took all my input in about proteins, starches, "more food, more often" and even my love for risotto and sweets (not together, naturally)all under consideration. She took it all in to provided amazing recommendations that incorporated her style and fresh local ingredients. Melissa and the team provide an amazing spread with bore and elk sausage, bison sliders, trout dip and the best short ribs I have ever had. We did two dinners for 10 people over the course of our trip. Each day incorporating new flavors and unique dishes. There were big hugs at the end of our time with Seasonal Montana as the team brought more than just great food into our house they brought passion, personality and professionalism. I highly recommend Seasonal Montana.

The search felt almost romantic, like wandering the side streets of Paris in pursuit of a hidden chocolatier known only to locals. The exterior was humble, even nondescript--I half-wondered if I'd stumbled upon an old hardware store. But the moment I stepped inside, I knew I'd found something extraordinary. A long glass case gleamed with rows of exquisite chocolates--delicate, jewel-like creations that would make any Parisian confiseur proud. These weren't simple chocolate bars or mass-produced sweets; each piece looked like a tiny work of art, inspired by faraway cacao origins and the timeless elegance of old-world France. Choosing just four for my sampler box felt impossible, so I surrendered and asked the server for guidance. She smiled and asked what flavors I loved most, then curated a selection that included two pieces crafted from Mexican cacao--tracing their roots to the Aztecs--and a layered chocolate so refined it could have come straight from Saint-Germain-des-Prés. To complete the indulgence, I ordered a hot chocolate--Mexican style, of course. Rich, velvety, and lightly spiced, it was perfection in a cup. Each bite of chocolate was an awakening--smooth, complex, and impossibly luxurious. By the end, I was speechless. La Châtelaine isn't just a chocolatier; it's a love letter to Paris, written in cacao. They may be hidden in Bozeman for now, but their craft deserves a world stage.
