I rarely provide negative feedback or write reviews, but in this situation, I feel it is important to share my experience with Stephanie. Weddings are important milestones, and unfortunately, the lack of timely communication, follow-through, inaccurate information and clarity throughout this process ultimately resulted in my daughter not having a wedding cake at her wedding. Emailing us a week or so out from the wedding with wrong colors and wrong date was unbelievable to me and prevented us from having the opportunity to make other arrangements due to the lack of time. The absence of a wedding cake was noticeable and, unfortunately, put a damper on what should have been a very special part of the celebration for my daughter and our family. read more

I got a dozen cupcakes for my son's birthday. I ordered online and they were delivered via DoorDash. My son said they were great!

What an amazing experience. They called me on their day off to make sure my cupcakes were perfect, and they were delicious! Will be using them moving forward for any cupcake occasion! read more

Best cupcakes in Bozeman. On par or better than some of the famous shops in big cities that I've tried. Amazing flavors and beautiful presentation. Location is kind of a hole in the wall but tbh I'm not going to a cupcake place to hang out so not a big deal. I don't even have to tell my family they know this is what I want on my birthday! read more

I placed an order for a dozen cupcakes for my sisters birthday through door dash. She works at an elementary school so sometimes its challenging to be sure deliveries get to her. I didn't see that you can add a note in doordash - so I called and left them a message and sent them a message through their website for what needed to be on the cupcake box. Even though I left the message the night before the delivery, they still received it and accommodated my request. Such amazing service! My sister says they are the best cupcakes in the valley and was so happy to receive them. Thank you for making her birthday just a little more special! Pro-tip foe anyone ordering through door dash that wants to include a note that they kindly emailed me for next time : "If you would like to write a message, please click on the message sticker option and add it to your cart. From there, you can personalize what you would like your message to say on that note" read more

Love their cupcakes. Such wonderful varieties and their frosting is to die for! Love anything chocolate but have tried others which all were top quality! read more

Loved the cupcakes, ordered last minute 14 cupcakes for my sons class. Cupcakes were delicious and worth the price tag. Kids loved them and they were beautiful. All parts of the halloween skull and bones were edible and the filling inside was delicious. The person who took my order which I think was the owner was super cool and helpful. Wonderful experience read more

Ordered the Chocolate Cream-cheese Raspberry: The cake was good, the chocolate definitely tastes like chocolate. The cream cheese flavor was there but tasted like no sugar added, kinda tart and absolutely no raspberry flavor. Sorry guys, I was expecting a punch hun in the face of raspberry instead I got a puff of powdered sugar. Edited: banana pb sis delish! But stay away from the chocolate or plains read more

Cupcake Mountain Cupcakery - a cupcake with a heart on top - Desserts Near Me - Bozeman, Montana

Best cupcakes in town! Small size, ample and delicious frosting, beautiful decoration, and yummy, moist cake. Special occasion? Need cheering up? Want to say thank you or congratulations? Get cupcakes here!! We especially love the chocolate peanut butter. My only complaint is a case of heartbreak when they sell out and close early! (Don't be like me, go early in the day and get your cakes.) read more

Extremely tasty cupcakes! The cakes were light and fluffy. Some of the frostings were sweeter than we prefer but not too much. Unique options beyond basic vanilla and chocolate. Our favorite was the peach cobbler which I could have eaten all day long. The service was very friendly and kind. Definitely an enjoyable spot! read more

Delicious beautiful cupcakes. The Irish cream one fantastic and we always love the chocolate toffee

Amazing!! I bought a variety of cupcakes for a birthday gift and they were all wonderful.

Great to have a cupcake specialty store in Bozeman with quality cupcakes! The store is a little off the beaten path in a office-like storefront on North Seventh. The prices are on the high side for Bozeman at $3/cupcake. However the quality and taste is excellent!! There are ten main advertised flavors and they will custom make to your desires. Most have buttercream frosting and look as good as they taste. read more

First, this place does not look like a cupcake joint. Where are the fun lights, cutesy decorations or ANY cupcake related decor? While I find $3/cupcake not unusually priced, I was highly disappointed by the flavors of the cakes. You can tell they skimp on the quality of the ingredients they use, which is unfortunate. The chocolate cake is excellent, the chocolate frosting, however, is horribly lacking...it's like an essence of chocolate, when the quality of the chocolate and flavor should stick out. Yellow and white cake were both dry and the vanilla buttercream is overly sweet. Here's a good tip: if you eat a cupcake and can't taste the butteriness (not greasy) right away, there's something wrong. Pay the 3.95/cupcake and get yourself an Elle's Belles! read more

We ordered cupcakes from Washington for a wedding in Montana. We ordered white on white with white pearls, a round small cake, and 50 cupcakes. Not only were they beautiful, they were yummy. The service was excellent. They called a week prior to pickup to confirm the order and said they would be ready for pickup at a specific time, our choice of time, and they were boxed up and ready to go. Couldn't have been a better experience. Thank you Cupcake Mountain. read more

Amazing service and cupcakes. We had preordered a dozen for a bday party but had a family emergency on the day of pickup. When we were able to pick them up a couple days later they remade the cupcakes for us - no charge. They were delicious btw. Try the peanut butter cup! read more

Best cupcake I've ever had. I cannot wait to go back for more. The service was awesome. They guy working was so friendly and helpful. They didn't have a couple of the kinds we wanted, but he managed to whip them up for us really fast. read more

Cupcakes were really moist and we all really enjoyed them. Frosting was soft and plentiful. I do not see any problem with the price, Sola and Elles charge similar pricing. And La Chatelaine chocolates charges $2 for one truffle bite, so I think their pricing is reasonable. Only negatives were that It was hard for me to find parking and the shop could use some brighter lighting and decor. But the man behind the counter was welcoming and friendly and said I could bring it back if it wasn't good and he'd eat it. :) read more

Holy canoli these cupcakes are amazing. You know their going to be good the moment you walk through the door. Friendly smile, light hearted conversation and quick service is an all five in my book. And the amazing cupcakes, I get one while I wait for a haircut at the barber shop next door. Love the local feel keep it up. read more

Maybe it was an off day? Or maybe because it was late afternoon? We got two chocolate cup cakes one was peanut butter and one was a caramel toffee I think. Both cakes were super dry and the frosting was hard. read more

Cupcake Mountain is a small shop situated in an out of the way area, but their cupcakes do not disappoint! Every flavor I have tried has been delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating whenever I stop in. The cupcakes are well worth the price for a special treat! read more

The cupcake I had was so disappointing. I am a Bozemanite and work for a locally owned food based business. My cupcake tasted like devils food from the store. The chocolate frosting was not chocolate at all!!! Not at all. All of the toffee was clumped at the bottom of my cupcake. What a joke. Never coming back. read more

Just went to Cupcake Mountain in celebration of national cupcake day and I had the strawberry one. Omg. Yum!! I will be back for sure!

I just had the most amazing cupcake from here! I picked some up for my neighbor's birthday, and then some for my family. Not sure the official title, but the strawberry/ lime margarita with cream cheese frosting was the most amazing cakery I've ever ever had. Dense, zippy, sweet - delicious. read more

I've patronized cupcake stores all over the area (from Billings to Spokane--it's a hobby) and this one is absolutely THE best. $3 a cupcake is very reasonable for the size and the quality (and is also below average for gourmet cupcake shops.) The cakes are the perfect consistency, the frostings are exactly sweet enough without going over and exactly the right amount without being too much for the cake. I make sure to try the frostings and cake separately as well as together, and the chocolate cupcake sans frosting was simply amazing. Very rich, very dark without being bitter. This shop actually ranks #2 on my All Time Best Shops Countrywide list (east coast to west coast,) and that's saying something. Do yourself a favor--pop in and grab a cupcake. Or do what we did and grab a dozen so you can try everything! read more

Best cupcakes I've ever had. Definitely on the pricey side, but worth it if you know you're getting a gourmet cupcake. I had the Cookie Monster and the Coffee one. Both were delicious. Christine ( i believe her name was) was very helpful and explaining everything that was in it. It doesn't look like a cupcake store from the outside. I have known of the place for few years and drove by it like every day and JUST found out where it was today. Oh well. I'm satisfied. Thank you! read more

I love cupcake mountain!! I have been in several times and my family and I have ordered cupcakes for a few birthday parties and even my upcoming wedding! I love the variety you can choose from (normally about 8 flavors on a day to day basis) and you can even order flavors they don't normally carry for larger events like my wedding. I actually don't like cupcakes normally because I hate the frosting from most stores (even Elles, way to sweet for me!) but I love every part of these cupcakes! My favorite so far is the key lime! The owners are great and very friendly and helpful! You will continue to get my business and recommendation! read more

Absolutely amazing! Definitely worth the price seeing as each cupcake is beautifully made and very delicious. The customer service there is spectacular and the store itself is very inviting inside. read more

So...this place is only so-so. I love cupcake shops, cupcakes, and any cakey-type thing really so I know where I'm coming from. I've tried out lots of different bakeries. I was SO excited when I found out Bozeman had a cupcake shop! Cupcake Mountain is cool, but it's definitely not what it could be! First, I walk in there and BAM! The front desk is right in front of you and there's absolutely NO place to sit. At all. Like, you can only fit about five people in that tiny front space. I was really disappointed by that, because I had told some friends to meet me there and we had nowhere to go! So that was my first impression. The customer service was great! Both workers were really nice and friendly, so that was good. Now onto the cupcakes....the price was fine. $3.00 a cupcake is about normal. The cake was pretty good. Nothing to complain about there. But oh the frosting....I don't know what recipe you guys use, but please change it! I love frosting, and I have a sweet tooth, so usually I'm not picky. But this stuff is WAY too sweet, heavy, and dense. I couldn't figure out if they used real butter or shortening, because it was just weird...I've been there a few times, and each time I eat one of these cupcakes I get a headache. Not sure why, but guessing it's the sugar overload. Anyway, definitely go try this place out. It really is good, and I enjoyed going there, but I've definitely had better. read more

First of all, who doesn't want to tell people that you've been to Cupcake Mountain? I love the name, and the cupcakes? OMG! They are delicious! While I'm not the biggest fan of frosting (and they do put a good amount on each cupcake) the frosting is delicious as well, I just prefer less of it. Condisering these are speciality cupcakes the price isn't too bad, and one cupcake is plenty as they are decent sized. I love this place and unless I have to feed a hundred people cupcakes, I won't be buying cupcakes anywhere else. read more

Parking is off street or in the back as you walk around to the front.Unlikely storefront...missed it going by as I looked for it BUT the cupcakes were very delicious. I got a dozen for the hubby's birthday and boy was he happy. I was greeted by the owner and treated very nicely. The front of the store isn't festive but who cares? I care about the quality of the product. It's not like I was going to eat it there. We found the peanut butter cup, lime, black and white and red velvet cupcakes delectable. We would definitely come back for our birthday cupcakes instead of a birthday cake! Thanks for the beautiful and delicious cupcakes! We'll be back!!!! read more

I am a baker from California and while visiting my inlaws here, I decided to try out the local cupcakeries. Cupcake Mountain had great quality cupcakes and really delicious combinations. I also met the owner, who seemed to be a really great guy. I tried the mint chip one (forgot the name) and the chocolate toffee crunch one. Also had the irish coffee Guinness cupcake, strawberry, rainbow sprinkle, and red velvet. All of them were stellar. Definitely recommend this place. In fact.... there is still time to return before I leave back for Ca..... hmmmm.... read more

This cute little place was recommended to me by a friend. I was so blown away by how friendly the lady working behind the counter was! She was the nicest woman and quickly answered all of my questions since I had never been there before. I picked out a strawberry cupcake for a friend who instantly fell in love after trying the cupcake. Highly recommend this place! read more
