Weddings are important milestones, and unfortunately, the lack of timely communication, follow-through, inaccurate information and clarity throughout this process ultimately resulted in my daughter not having a wedding cake at her wedding. Emailing us a week or so out from the wedding with wrong colors and wrong date was unbelievable to me and prevented us from having the opportunity to make other arrangements due to the lack of time. The absence of a wedding cake was noticeable and, unfortunately, put a damper on what should have been a very special part of the celebration for my daughter and our family.

Unfortunately, the final result looked nothing like the photo--particularly the calligraphy, which appeared, rushed, messy and unprofessional. It truly did not meet even basic expectations for quality and cost. Multiple people asked if I made the cake myself and I have no baking skills, which is how terrible it looked. When I reached out to express my concerns and request a refund (full or partial), I was told that they couldn't issue one unless I returned the cake. This does not make sense and also was not even feasible, as the cake was needed for my event the morning after I picked it up. On such short notice, over a holiday weekend, I had no other choice and it obviously couldn't be returned after being used. Allison then told me she couldn't offer even a partial refund because she "needs the money to feed her family." While I understand personal struggles, this reasoning felt inappropriate and unfair to me as a paying customer who also works hard to feed my family & received a subpar product for what I paid. This experience left me frustrated and disappointed, especially on what was supposed to be a joyful and memorable day. I absolutely would not recommend this company based on my experience.

I recommend sending someone from your group to the front glass display so that you have an idea of what you want to get before you get to the front. It's huckleberry everywhere in Montana/Wyoming so we had to try their famous huckleberry scone. This is my favorite scone that I've had and I am not a scone person by any means. The reason why it was so good, was because the texture and dough was more reminiscent of a biscuit. It was extremly soft and moist which was so far different than any other scone I've ever had. Whether or not this classifies as a scone I'm not sure, but should you get it? Absolutely! The other pastry I really enjoyed was a chocolate 'pound' cake with vanilla frosting on top. Deliciously moist and amazing. I could just eat this and be happy. They do have a huge selection of other goodies so there's going to be something very everyone!

I tried a delicate Carrot Cake (perhaps with a touch of coconut) topped in fluffy mounds of cream cheese frosting (+1 chocolate macaron) that WOWed. Only downside is you need 2 bites to get to the bottom - more than a mouthful! The staff was patient with my indecisiveness, and I wished I could stay to converse & work below local paintings lighting golden walls, but the road is calling!

High marks on the location and environment, truly great use of the space and love how you can gauge the line ahead of ordering. If it's out the door, a solid 20-25 minutes before you order. Seating is after you order, but be mindful of others and don't have someone in your party go reserving a spot until you are 3-4 parties back from ordering. This takes away from people who are waiting for their food ahead of you and needing a seat. The tables turn over fairly quickly. My wife and I have both tried something different to eat every visit. No I don't recommend this restaurant!…read more I have tried it twice and both time have been miserably disappointed in the service. The price is always surprisingly expensive and generally when the total comes inevitably wrong. Often something we didn't order is added and you have to hassle getting removed from your ticket. The ambiance is lively and fun. However most the staff are standing around at the front in the bar gossiping. It's really annoying to hear them gossiping about guests! Bad Bad Bad manners! They talk too much and don't serve food in a timely manner. To wait an hour and a half is ridiculous. In general, the food preparation is ok. Fresh, but ok. My suggestion would be to dress up the presentation more than just putting it on the plate - it's an art that makes good Sushi special, and this doesn't do it for me! While it's decent, for Montana, it's not west coast Sushi and service staff needs an overhaul. Less gossip, better staff service with attention to the customers order, more timely service, more accurate orders.
