Tasty ice cream, Popular shop The shop is easy to find, on a corner across from the Bozeman library. The line was long, so it took around 20min. Of course we got Huckleberry ice cream, made with real berries. As sweet and refreshing as we could have imagined. Their bright Mountain Mint is dyed with a natural green, and dotted with thin dark-chocolate flakes. We had tasty oatmilk ice cream with Oreo bits. They have more than a handful of other flavors. Great spot for a sweet treat on Main Street! We stopped in after dinner for a cone, and on a Sunday evening they were sold out of about half their flavors, which was a little unfortunate. Luckily, they had the one which I was most interested to try- Huckleberry! I ordered a kid's scoop on a sugar cone and it was a generous serving. My wife ordered the small cold brew on a waffle cone and ate the whole thing- I tried a bite and the coffee flavor was subtle but delicious none the less. I thought the waffle cone was excellent, different than others I've tried and had a thicker/softer texture more like a cookie. I would definitely choose the waffle cone next time. The place is cute and small but has a few tables inside and outside. The staff was friendly and efficient with serving the line that started to form. We would return! read more

Finding a local ice cream shop is essential for making any place feel like home and now that I've been to sweet peaks, Bozeman feels like home. I popped in for a post dinner treat on a freezing cold night. For whatever reason, ice cream always sounds delicious on a cold winter night! I was very happy to see a couple of non dairy options: cherry almond & chocolate. I sampled them both and the cherry almond won by a landslide! It would be nice to have even more options, but I learned that they rotate out the non dairy flavors regularly. The other ice cream flavors looked divine and I would love to see a non dairy espresso! The employees were so friendly and helpful. I'm so glad I could sample the flavors before committing to a whole scoop. Everywhere I turned in Montana. I kept seeing Huckleberry. Huckleberry, this and Huckleberry that and so I went on the hunt for some Huckleberry ice cream and found sweet peaks on yelp. I'm lactose intolerant so I took three dairy pills before we went to sweet peaks just to be safe. We walked in and we were greeted warmly by the attendant. We asked for some samples and tried out a couple of flavors, but I knew I wanted Huckleberry and then I also tried the peach. This ice cream was amazing. So creamy so much flavor. They had a nice area inside where we sat to eat our ice cream, but it was also a beautiful day and they had tables outside where you could enjoy yourself as well. It's right on the corner so you get a nice view of the street and everything that's going on. Just a really wonderful experience and amazing ice cream . I wish I could've tried all the flavors. Oh, and they also have vegan options which I know would've been better for my stomach, but I really wanted to try the other flavors. read more

The customer service was great and they offer quite a few fun flavors! This is a cute little ice cream place right on the corner at the edge of downtown Bozeman, and we came here after a traditional road trip dinner at Whole Foods. There was a line, and it only kept growing after us. Once we got inside, we saw why. There were only two Gen Z'ers working, and they were beyond sweet and accommodating, but let's just say that the word 'hustle' has yet to be incorporated into their lexicon. SLLLLLLOWWWW. The guy four customers before us was still waiting for his milkshake (taking one of the girls out of commission) by the time we checked out! You need more staff back there! The ice cream is really good, though, and they have several unique flavor profiles that we were pleasantly surprised to see available in Montana. Our daughter got a salted caramel that she loved, and one us was a bit boring with mint chocolate chip, but she was happy with it. The other one got the black bear sundae (or whatever it was called), which had chocolate and huckleberry ice cream, covered in chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Now *that* was spectacular. Can't stop won't stop with the huckleberry while we're in this state! Portions are OK. So, overall, a good spot, and we can see ourselves coming back, but man, please manage your staffing on busy spring evenings. 3.5 stars, rounding up. read more

YO!!! This creamery is the best! It is located in an old town and there are many restaurants around the area for dinner, then this place for ice cream. I am a sucker for lavender and honeycomb, but lavender is only seasonal. Their honeycomb is ALL year around! This flavor is creamy and CHUNKS of honeycomb! There are many other flavors and they are all made in house. The employees are very respectful and the service was awesome. This was the place to be on a hot Monday summer night, the line was at least 30 people long. The staff worked efficiently to keep it moving, without losing any friendliness. Sample whatever flavors you'd like. I enjoyed everything I tried but didn't feel wowed by anything, and my scoop didn't have any cookie chunks in it which was disappointing. When it comes to ice cream, I am pretty much a sure thing. I always go with my go to which is salted caramel. My wife usually goes with mint and we both like peanut butter. However when we visited Sweet Peaks, we decided to try a new flavor. Turns out we may have found a new favorite. So we tried Spiced Berry Pie. Spiced Berry Pie is pie crust crumbles with wildberry jam and berry cream. The key was the spice. It tasted like cinnamon and nutmeg, but not overpowering. Just a little spice in the background of that wildberry. Really, really good. The mint was ok according to the mint aficionado. The salty caramel was as expected. Sweet with a hint of salt. First off, the service here was great! I wish I knew her name, but the sweetest girl served us at Sweet Peaks ice cream (no pun intended) and answered all of our touristy questions with a smile. What a treat and a pleasant surprise. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly and accommodating in providing samples. They expressed their favorites and knew the breakdown of all the flavors. The ice creams and sorbets were fresh, innovative and very unique combinations. I had the huckleberry lemonade sorbet. We searched for Huckleberry ice cream and this place came up. There was street parking and looked like a tiny parking lot in the back. We parked on the street next to the shop. They sell a variety of ice cream flavors, and has different scoop options (kids, single, double, etc.). They also sell candies, chocolate, and there was a giftshop in there. There were chairs, tables, and a few benches inside, which was nice because there was plenty of space to social distance, not that it matters because no one wore masks there except for us. There were some tables and chairs outside too. We got Huckleberry ice cream, and omg it was very sweet. So sweet that I couldn't eat more than 5 spoonfuls. It wasn't what we had expected, like the Huckleberry ice cream we had in West Yellowstone that was amazing! Service was good, and they definitely give more than one scoop. read more

I love berries not basic berries like strawberries but berries like huckleberries, ollalieberries, blackberries etc. so when I spotted a huckleberry ice cream I assumed I was in for a real treat. The summer flavor, campfire smores also caught my attention. I tried both of these flavors in a split scoop but neither impressed me. I found the ice cream lacked creaminess and this coming from someone who loves cheese but really tries to stay away from dairy when I can so for me to feel it's not creamy enough says something to me. I also found the flavors to be much too mild for my taste, rather than a bit bolder and more distinctive.
