We are visiting from out of town for a few weeks and saw the cute business so decided to grab a coffee and a treat for the kids. The cookie and the coffee were good but the owner or manager was very rude. Everything we have eaten from this cafe has been extraordinary. All bread is from organic ingredients. There is no menu, they bring out trays of fresh made sandwiches and pastries as the day goes on. We wanted to try everything they offered but didn't have enough time in Bozeman. Vegan is offered too, but we stayed with recipes made with 'Montana Meats' The cafe is modest and natural and clean. This place is always packed and for good reason, it's delicious and the setting is fun. The atmosphere is almost what I would envision sitting at a big table in the country with a big loving family eating thanksgiving. It's loud for sure with all the people but also so much fun and the baked goods are to die for. My husband and I love to either come here for a quick tasty treat or to come by and people watch while we enjoy a good beverage and mouth watering baked goody. If your not into waiting in line (though their line goes fast; they got the system down to an art) or a lot of people, wild crumb might not be the place for you. BUT if you love delicious baked goods, a fun atmosphere and great service than I would recommend it. Either way it can never hurt to try and have another amazing place to go to in Bozeman. read more

I've been visiting family in Bozeman since i was a kid, and every time I visit it keeps getting better. My last trip I went to Wild Crumb three times - thats how good they are! They have a ton of different pastries to choose from (cakes, scones, breads, croissants, etc) and also offer lunch food like quiches and sandwiches. They seem to change up what they offer on the daily and close relatively early (probably because they're so popular and sell everything out!). The staff were very friendly and helpful and the space is clean and cozy.The first time we came we grabbed a lemon tart, fruit tart and a peanut butter mousse tart. All were delicious but the peanut butter one was AMAZING. Creamy peanut butter mousse that wasn't sickeningly sweet sitting in a crumby crust with some chocolate on top. Everything we got was so beautiful I couldn't help taking photos of the pastries. Came back again for the peanut butter tart and the passionfruit cake, which was a bit more sour then I'd like but thats personal preference. Last time came for breakfast and got the scone, mushroom focaccia, quiche and carrot cake. All were just as yummy as I expected, the carrot cake and scone especially (scone was warm right out of the oven!) The only complaint I would have is that they only serve drip coffee and wish they served lattes etc, but they are a bakery not a coffee shop so I won't deduct for that. Treeline is right next door. If you want a veggie breakfast sandwich (excellent), order early as they always sell out. Best item on the menu - the lemon tarts. Wild Crumb makes all things delicious. However as a bakery that takes pride in offering all sorts of primarily desert items, don't expect any dairy-free offerings. I was there with my family and we are impressed with their accommodations for protecting their staff and customers from exposure to COVID-19. However the line into the store & where customers await their turn to be served is further away from the display case and the line to exit the store is closest to the glass case. This makes it somewhat confusing in getting served. Customers behind us kept jumping ahead of us and initially I did the same thing trying to be served before it was our turn. When this confusion occurs, the 6 ft social distancing no longer exists. Every time I moved to be 6 ft away from the customers who were behind us, the bakery's arrangement caused the customers (whose turn hadn't yet come) to think it was their turn. This was incredibly annoying. If the IN-coming line were next to the glass cases and the exit path was along the wall it would be far less confusing/frustrating. read more

Good, strong coffee. Friendly, professional service. The croissants and pain au chocolat are touch and go. They are sometimes deliciously flaky and airy, sometimes overly dense and salty. I think my expectations were a bit high from friends telling me how great it is. It is not bad but I have had many croissants and their almond croissant tastes like the other bakeries in town. Apple cider is delicious and perfect for sitting on on the patio on a crisp fall day. I'm sure once the construction work is done it's a relatively quiet area nonetheless it's still good for homework, having a conversation, or reading. Bozeman is definitely adding some cool business and this is an new european style bakery that was MUCH needed here. Amazing bread, pastries, croissants (that rival those I have had in Paris!) and I just LOVE that they have demi-baguettes. The brioche is yummy. They made hot cross buns and coconut cake all week for the easter holiday. Heavenly. This is an amazing place to stop by for breakfast or lunch.
