A nice plate paired with the tasting.

The cellar room was excellent. The tasting was yummy which is why I spent too much money on some wine. The Malbec is jammy and well worth the price of admission. Lots of families enjoying the lawn, and the live music. The service was great!! Above and beyond!!

The set up in the private area was amazing.

This place never lets us down. Great wine, great service, and a great atmosphere. They upgraded our group of 14 to the private area and took care of us for more than 3 hours of tastings.

Weins Cellars members pickup party! Popped in for a little wine, with food pairings and to retrieve our quarterly wine purchase. Today's performance was provided by a gentleman playing Sixties and Seventies jazz favorites on saxophone and reminiscing the Rat Pack era. Totally refreshing! Delicious wine, cool weather and smooth tunes.

Enjoyed a wine tasting yesterday during NYE. Arrived about 4:30 PM and stayed til closing. It was only $32 for two people to do 6 glasses of wine tasting which is a steal! Scott was our waiter and he was really personalable and knowledgeable. Loved seeing the details of the wines flavors which helped us choose what to taste. They also had little snacks to buy which was great while getting tipsy.

LOVEEE Wiens!! I try to visit at least once a week-- whenever friends or family are in town, it's the first place I take them. The atmosphere is always welcoming, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, food trucks and live music on weekends, AND they're pet friendly! (: Also, BIG shoutout to Michael! He's incredibly knowledgeable (I thought he was a sommelier!!), friendly, always provides quick service and actually listens to what you like and don't like. When I first moved to Temecula, I only ordered Cabernet lol, but Michael helped me branch out and discover other wines I now enjoy. My current favorite is the Cote Noir (a blend of Malbec and Petite Sirah). It's sooo good! If you live locally, I'd recommend signing up as club members. I signed up for the Reds club, which offers up to 8 tastings A DAY which is an insane deal compared to other wineries! Only downside is that it obviously gets super busy on weekends, and the cashiers' friendliness can be a hit or miss. Thank you, Michael and staff, for taking great care of your customers! (:

Huge winery in Temecula with an amazing tasting room for members. They had two times for tastings and some delicious wines room had AC and service was fantastic. Fun place to check out when in the Temecula wine country area.

I absolutely love the wine at this winery is very good. I also like the fact that they have different food trucks coming in all the time the food I've eaten here has been amazing. They have a beautiful outdoor patio. They also have a barrel room. It was very unique fun experience.

Wiens is a solid pick in Temecula if you enjoy bold red wines, a relaxed wine tasting vibe, and want more than just standard pours. With the right server and expectations kept in check, it can be one of the more rewarding stops in the area. What makes this winery different from the others, you are able to bring in your curated charcuterie board, lunch, snacks, and other food while servers come to your table for wine tasting. No need to get up each time to try different wines. Family friendly winery with grass area for kids to run around. Perfect for a stop if you are in the area.

Wiens Cellars - Temecula's Gem for Wine Lovers Wiens Cellars is hands-down one of my favorite spots to unwind in Temecula wine country! This family-owned winery delivers everything you want in a weekend escape--gorgeous vineyards, relaxed vibes, and seriously impressive wines. The atmosphere is always inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating that lets you soak up the California sun. On some days, you'll catch live music or a local food truck, but the best part? You can bring your own picnic! I usually pack a basket of snacks to pair with their bold reds and crisp whites--it's the perfect setup for an easy afternoon with friends. The staff is friendly, the pours are generous, and the energy feels like a mix of rustic charm and laid-back luxury. On our last visit, we even got treated to a full rainbow stretching across the vineyards--talk about a perfect ending! If you're local to Southern California, do yourself a favor and join their Wine Club. I'm part of the Reds Club, which includes up to 8 tastings a day--an unbelievable deal compared to other wineries in the area. Whether you're a Temecula regular or just exploring for the day, Wiens Cellars is the kind of place that turns a casual visit into a full-on experience. Cheers to that!

My husband and I have been members at Wiens for many years. We visited yesterday to pick up our wine and to do a tasting. Our server was Silvana, and she was fantastic! We have been members at many different wineries through the years in Temecula, Buellton, Napa, and Paso Robles. Wiens is, by far, our favorite winery! We love reds, and all of their wines are incredible. We stopped at Wiens years ago when we saw their sign that said "big bold reds." They aren't kidding. Their reds are the best! We have attended many fun events throughout the years, such as a Crowded pairing dinner, blend your own wine, pick up parties, and others. They are always well organized. They don't have a restaurant on site, but they have food trucks on the weekends. You can take your own snacks as well. I highly recommend visiting Wiens when you are in Temecula. Make sure you ask for Silvana, and tell her Laurie and Larry sent you!

Visited the Wiens cellar for a special event tasting. We enjoyed 3 of the 6 that were served (1 white, 2 reds). At the end of our tasting, our server mentioned that if we purchased two bottles we would be refunded one of the $50 wine tastings. We thought, why not. After we selected two, we were told that the deal was for reds only. Since we didn't care for any others we should've just stopped there however the server said she had a Cabernet for $89. We thought, fine - it's hard to mess up a cab. This is when things took a turn. When it was time to pay, the bill was $50 higher. Turns out she quoted us member pricing but was giving us non-member cost at check out. In all honesty, I should've just said no at that point but being after a tasting, let's just say I was a bit inebriated. The next morning I woke up to a $300 bill for the two bottles. As embarrassed as I was, I headed back to return it the next day since I felt hustled. Luckily for me, the experience in the return was much better. It's the only reason why I scored this so high and would consider returning at a future date.

The Summer Concert Series is a great way to spend your weekend so check it out if you can! I LOVE coming here even on a random weekday, but my favorite times are when they have great live music. This review is because we attended the kick off of the summer concert series! We had a large group and Michael, once again was an absolute joy!! The setup for these concerts was so cool! Tables on the lawn with umbrellas, open grass area near the stage, vendors setup around the perimeter, and live music before the concert even started! They thought of everything. They only had one food truck so options were limited, but I think they were expecting two more. I can't tell you how many times I've visited since a year ago when I joined the wine club! Every visit has been worth the drive. Michael Hall is usually my wine expert, but the few times he wasn't there we had someone nice too. He is always super knowledgeable about all wines, very personable with everyone around see him assisting, super patient with questions, and so much fun to chat with between pours.

Brynn was amazing!! she was so sweet and kind. Thank you! She was great and knew her understanding of the wines. I'm so happy she helped my understanding of the wine!

Unfortunately, the best word to describe the evening is mixed, leaning toward disappointment. Starting with the positives. The facility is beautiful. We were seated in what they call the outdoor area, though it feels fully enclosed and comfortable. Despite a cool, rainy evening and some initial trouble getting the heaters working near us, we stayed warm and were able to enjoy the setting. Service had a rough start. After being seated, we received water from a busser but then waited 10 to 15 minutes without any acknowledgment from a server. Not even a quick "I'll be right with you." We were close to leaving when another waitress noticed and stepped in. She apologized, took over our table, and from that point on was excellent. Attentive, friendly, and professional. Because of her, service ultimately deserves high marks despite the initial lapse. The restaurant was also extremely loud. There was a large group of teenagers celebrating a birthday, a bridal party, and several lively tables that had clearly been enjoying wine for the day. While that's not entirely the restaurant's fault, it did take away from what we expected to be a more intimate anniversary dinner. Now, the food, which was the biggest disappointment. We started with the Caesar salad and Burrata. The Burrata was excellent. The Caesar salad, however, was mediocre at best, and at $18 should have been much better. For entrées, I ordered the sea bass. At $48, it was overcooked, nearly tasteless, and served in a soupy mixture that was difficult to identify. The presentation in a small, awkward bowl didn't help. It was simply not good. My wife ordered the Taleggio Pappardelle with mushrooms and added chicken. The dish lacked clarity and flavor, and the chicken was also overcooked. To their credit, they brought out a complimentary cheesecake for our anniversary, which ended up being the best tasing part of the meal. We also ordered a bottle of wine, choosing their lowest-priced blend. At many restaurants, that can be a gamble, but in this case it was excellent wine (and we are knowledgeable wine snobs.) They graciously comped the wine due to the slow start in service, which we truly appreciated and felt was handled very well. Overall, this experience fell short of expectations, especially when it came to the food. That said, there were enough positives to acknowledge; Service, once corrected, was excellent. The setting is beautiful. The wine was surprisingly good. It's possible we simply caught them on an off night in the kitchen. We may consider trying them again in the future. Final ratings: Service: 5 stars (thanks to the recovery) Ambience: 3 stars (beautiful, but very loud) Food: 1 star With everything considered, a reluctant overall rating of 4 stars -- a mix of strong positives and some significant misses.

First stop on our wine tour. The guy that helped us was on Point with his dry and sweet wine…read moreknowledge. He went through his little tutorial of each wine, what was in it, what you could smell or taste. My daughter asked him about stronger wine's which he was happy to go into detail about. They had a barrel wine, which my daughter loved, then I had to ask "hey do you have a port". Yes they do, a delicious, exquisite, red port and a white port. I purchased one. Oh and the little shareable menu please try their homemade hummus. It was delicious. I will be coming back here for our anniversary to stay at one of the villa's. And don't forget to stop in the gift shop there were so many cute things in there.

Explored a couple wineries this past weekend starting with South Coast…read more I'll keep it brief-this place was nice. The atmosphere, ambience and environment was nice and clean. Even on a nice Saturday afternoon during brunch hours, it wasn't too crowded or busy at all. We mostly stayed in the tasting room then went in the member's lounge for bit before taking a walk outside. It's pretty spacious, attracting more of a mature older crowd, if that's your thing. The staff we encountered were all enthusiastic. They even had a taco guy there near the member's lounge which was great- they had a mushroom taco for my veggie people and a cheese quesadilla for the vegetarians. While I had a good time, I'm not sure I'd ever come back here. It wasn't bad, just nothing compelling me to come back-especially since I'm not a drinker, just came to explore with some friends. I'm particularly looking for the winery with the best brunch menu and an interesting crowd of people, which I didn't find here. If you enjoy wine, good scenery and a somewhat lokey spot where you can get out, yet, still have some space to yourself and escape the crowds, this is probably the winery for you.
