This was my first ever visit to a Wienerschnitzel. This was next door to the library I frequent and decided to try them out. My first visit was pretty decent. The staff were super sweet and helpful as I asked so many questions. The food was quick and freshly made. I love the quirky building structure. Iconic! Flavor wise, nothing stood out, but nothing was bad. It was filling and had well balanced flavors. Some people may be put off Thai location because of the amount of unhoused people around, but they are not causing problems or bothering people. They are just living their lives the best they can. If you are able, please consider buying a meal for someone out there. read more

Der Wienerschnitzel has some of the best junk food. I love it. Give me cheap hot dogs anyday and I am happy. I always use the drive thru and the order is always right and the food hot. The chili was bland and tasteless the tortilla on the burrito was like eating rubber. Fries were frozen and heated up. Cheap lunch 6$ is a good value but if the food tastes like crap what's the point. Service was good very quick. Restaurant was clean didn't have any issues at the table. We are here at least 3 times per week. Good service. They always nice and smily. My son loves the french fries here

There was a homeless person sitting at a table inside, that was smelling really bad. I didn't care to eat near her and I know they can't asked her to leave. I had no issue with that, but when she left I asked the manager on duty if that table and bench can be clean just in case someone may sit there. He reply that he will when he gets time. Lots of customers were coming in and of course these two young boys ordered their food and sat there, then the manager came out after so many orders to tell the boys can he check the area. Mind me there were a few other workers in the back that could have handled it. Then he turns to me across the room in front of all the other customers and asked me what do I want him to do. I replied that the area needs cleaning before other customers may want to sit there. He said that homeless lady comes there all the time and said I was racist. I said how am I racist to just ask for the area to be clean. He still was calling me racist. This is a example of how people catch illnesses from people. What is wrong with him? read more

I'm not one to leave a review but I am feeling very frustrated with my experience. I was missing two items from my order (totaling almost $9) after going through the drive through. I live 30 minutes away and went home only then to realize it was missing. So, I called to request a refund. At this point, I was told that there was nothing they could do, I had to go back if I wanted the food, or I would have to drive back anyway for a refund. Dipped CONES!!!!! This place is the location for all your munchies needs. But I dare you to try the Fruit Loop dipped cone. You will not regret it. I HIGHly recommend this place. I ordered the chili cheese fries, a western hot dog, and a chili dog. AND OH MY LORD it was fantastic. I received my food hot, fast and perfectly wrapped/ I opened the box of the chili cheese fries and it looked just like a commercial! Ooey, Gooey and oh so chewy. It really hit the spot. Went in today with my friends around 3:30 looking to buy an ice cream cone. The workers did not care to assist us. My friends and I were waiting to order at the register while the workers ignored us and kept on goofing around by the drive thru window. Below are my pros and cons Pros - The food is actually really good. Everything from the burgers to hot dogs to corn dogs to shakes. - The chili is actually really good. Tasty and good on both the hot dogs and burgers - The desserts are delicious and a must. - The service is usually pretty quick both on drive thru and takeout Cons - Unless you have coupons or getting a deal, some items tend to be on the expensive side. Again pricing is actually really good on some items like hot dogs and corn dogs but burgers are a bit overpriced but still delicious. - The double cheese fries had a bit of a weird taste. The regular fries with chili is actually good but I wouldn't recommend the double cheese fries. Overall, I really do enjoy the food here but I hope more deals come out for their more delicious items such as the burgers. read more

I'm so bad at making bad reviews on fast food restaurants but today I went to the wienerschnitzel at Nordoff and reseda (in front of the axe throwing place) And I ask for combo #2 with a Dr Pepper. First off all the corn dogs were overcooked ( but that wasn't the problem). I ask the lady to replace my drink because it was FLAT I don't think she knew what I was talking about and she offered me a drink from inside the kitchen and still was flat. At that point I just threw my drink and and a corn dog and a half to the trash and walked out without saying anything else. It's sucks that nowadays food is so expensive and this places have very poor quality on their menu. And the customer was as if a 7 year old child was behind the counter. I was next door at Sharkey picking up my Shrimp Burrito then when I was leaving, I saw the Wienerschnitzel sign and all of a sudden I was craving French Fries. So of course I decided to walk next door to fulfill my French fries craving. When I step onto the lot, there was a lot of cars parked and some cars in the drive thru. When I walked in, there was no customer inside so I was able to go put in my order right away. The girl working the cashier kept thinking I wanted a Large Dr. Pepper when I was saying Large French Fries. It took about 3 attempts for her to finally understand. It didn't take long for my fries to come out, I would guess like at most 3 minutes. Been here recently for a takeaway. Place is clean enough and good size. I just don't know how's this place on a normal day. All I can say..... this would be my first and last ordering from this fast food chain. Food is boring. Taste is not bad but is way way more inferior than other fast food chains. So they had just opened and I ordered 2x Two Chili dog combos. The drive thru cashier took my order, hands me 2 drinks and a bag, have a nice day sir. Okay bet. I drove home 30 minutes only to find out he only put one order in the bag BUT he did give me 2 fries and 2 straws and 2 drinks and a pound of condiments. Fine. I rarely bought from Winerschnitzel as a kid, but the Candy Shakes piqued my interest in this chain again. I've tried the Whopper and Reese's, and between the two, the Reese's is my favorite! They're always tasty, but my last Candy Shake was way too sweet and watery. As for the other food, the hot dogs, corn dogs, and chili cheese fries are good. Hot dogs here are softer than your ordinary hot dogs, not quite Vienna sausage, but not a snappy Sabrett either. There's a good amount of chili on the hot dogs, but the chili cheese fries could use an extra ladle or so. The corn dogs are tasty, especially with classic yellow mustard. The staff is always friendly and the quality of the food is consistent. I enjoy supporting small businesses like everyone else, but sometimes, well-managed franchises beat out local competition. read more
