What happened to this place??? Was there one night & it was so so but it was busy..seemed like alot of new wait staff, seemed a bit disorganized. Got bone in & they took forever & arrived cold!!! Figured it was because it was all you can eat night. Waited a few weeks & went again for the Burncoat fundraiser..Found out the awesome manager Johnny isn't there anymore!!! So sad he was outstanding & a very good manager..food was always great etc. New manager seems "out there" and not interested. New Staff really don't have the "caring" customer service attitude. Last chance, tried it again--always loved the place--this past week & sad to say, I won't be back. Wings were not as good, definitely not fresh, probably frozen or lower quality. If they don't bring johnny back (no one knows where he went to work), or bring in someone comparable it will be another empty spot on W.Boylston St. Anyone know of an email address or how to get in touch with owners. They need to know and take an interest. The bartenders are still nice..they can't say anything but they know the foods crap now. I went to Wicked Wing's a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and son based on a recommendation from a friend. I LOVE chicken wings and was very excited to try a new place in town. The ambiance of the place is cute and cozy, it reminded me of a cabin in the mountains. The wings were good and crispy, we had the maple bacon and mango habanero. But service from start to finish was VERY slow. Our drinks took a while to get and although our server messed up our order twice, she gave no apology at all. I was excited to try this place. Not impressed. I ordered boneless and bone in; both extra crispy. The bone in wings were great. The boneless were the opposite of extra crispy. They were almost soggy. I couldn't even eat them. The fried pickles were also not crispy but they were ok. When I asked for sides of bbq and honey mustard they said they'd have to charge me. It's a wing place, why would I have to pay for extra sauce?! I also got coleslaw. I'm a big coleslaw fan. This stuff is tasteless. Such a disappointing experience all around. Overall good experience for beer and wings. Much better then Buffalo wild wings (which we absolutely hate.) Wings were a very good size we got the boneless. The wicked Buffalo (the one star) was a little spicy for my taste a lot of black pepper in the recipe. Giving them a one due to their customer service. Just attempted to call for take out and was told by the girl that answered the phone "due to high volume we aren't doing take out orders." This is how people lose customers. If you want to stay in business you do what it takes to keep the customers happy. Just didn't love it. I wanted to, but I didn't. Our server was great - very friendly and really attentive. I ordered a side salad to start. Great sized salad, the Italian dressing is good. There were two large pieces of lettuce that were not clean - as in, a lot of dirt on the spine of the lettuce. I got the fried chicken sandwich with the Evil sauce on it, my husband got the short rib sandwich. He liked his, mine was just "eh." Honestly, it was a very thin piece of fried chicken (very thin). You literally get 2x the sandwich (maybe 3x) at other local establishments (think Hooters). I hate the fries. As in, HATE them. They are listed to have their own "fry seasoning" but I envisioned that to be a salt/pepper kind of seasoning. Oops. They don't tell you they are basically seasoned the way Andy Capp fries used to be (or are? Do they still sell them?). They are just not good. I know some people love them but oh no, I seriously couldn't have hated these more. My kids got the kid nuggets and smiley fries. All kids meals are $4.99. The smiley fries are great, something different (even if they are frozen food items). The nuggets are essentially McDonald's style nuggets only smaller. They literally look and feel like McDonalds but probably 2/3 the size. They each got 4 of them. My oldest isn't a big eater at all but even this was not enough dinner for him. So keep that in mind if you bring children, esp older children (say, older than 2!) that have an appetite. This particular kids meal was extremely small. Maybe other meals they have (they don't have much) are bigger? I don't know. All in all, we won't be back. 2 kids meals/drinks, a diet soda, 2 pint sized domestic draft beers, 2 sandwiches and a side salad = $59 not including gratuity. Nice place, definitely much nicer inside than expected. Not a ton of wing choices but more than enough. I asked for the most popular which was a maple bourbon bacon BBQ. It was a great combination of flavors topped with bacon. I went boneless as I was working and it was lightly breaded and cooked well. I went tonight with my daughter and husband for our 2nd trip to Wicked Wings. Previous trip was when they very first opened, we went on a busy Saturday for wings, salad, and a burger. We were very disappointed. Tonight we went for advertised Taco Tuesday, beer, and Margaritas. Disappointed again. We went just before 5pm, place was dead. I think 2 people at the bar, we were only people in dining room. We ordered a bone in combo, and 6 tacos (3 for me and 3 for my husband), beer, and margarita. The margarita was delicious and beer very cold. The wings, fries, and tacos were stone cold. How can the food be cold when no one is in the restaurant??!!?? My husband was hungry and ate his cold tacos. The waitress was nice and very new. Ample parking, and clean dining room. The manager came over after we reported the cold food and offered to re-make. We declined. She took off combo and 2 tacos, because I had eaten a portion of 1. Granted, they were $1 for taco tuesday-but really?!? The principal of that is CRAZY!! For the cold food and ridiculousness of waitress not taking off my full meal is why the 1 star. I suggest staying away, two strikes for this family. read more

With the last few times getting wings that weren't that great and now them being closed and not putting it on their website, not sure how often I'll be going anymore. The wings have been subpar lately, not as flavorful and over cooked. And today I was going to call in an order so my husband could pick it up on his way home. I called a few times and no answer. My husband gets there and says they're closed and the sign says to check FB for updates. Not everyone uses FB anymore. Why can't you add it to your website? Even if it said to check FB for updates it would be better than your customers not knowing. My husband and I love wings, decided to try this place for takeout. We were not disappointed(the second time first time had no bone in wings) we got the bone in wings with onion rings. Hard to give a fair assessment on take out but they were amazing. The onion rings were still crispy which is nearly impossible for take out. The wings were meaty and flavorful. I love coming to this place. My boyfriend and I live close by. We just found out though that they premake their buffalo wing dip and spinach artichoke dip. The terrible thing about this way of doing it is if the person making it completely misses an ingredient, it sucks. Last time I went, we got both. There was definitely cream cheese missing in the buffalo wing dip... I make it at home and it just wasn't creamy like usual. And the spinach and artichoke dip was so sour and not enjoyable. Too much artichoke for NO CHEESE in it... literally wasn't any at all. This was March 16th. We sent that back because someone did not make it right at all and should not work in the kitchen. Tried the new wicked wings on W. Boylston St. last night for the first time boy we weren't disappointed. I got the bone in wings half with hoison teriyaki sauce The others with the mild buffalo. They were cooked to perfection,juicy with a lot of meat. The sauces were excellent. Make sure you get the tater tots while are there. Nice rustic atmosphere and great service. We shared the Spinach and Artichoke dip as an appetizer and neither of us were wow-ed by it (not like that stopped us from eating the whole thing). It was creamy but lacked any real flavor. I ordered boneless wings with Gold BBQ sauce. The sauce was good, but the wings themselves were on the dry side. My friend ordered bone-in wings and we were both surprised to learn that they don't carry honey mustard. The waitress advised that the closest sauce was Gold BBQ (which is probably true, but still not very honey-mustard-like). But this is a wing place. So the other food isn't as great. I love the fries! Nice seasoning and big fries! The "ketchup" they give you is tangy and hot! But t has a good flavor! I recommend the honey wings or the Asian wings! The onion rings are good when you put extra salt on them! The more chicken wings you get the more expensive by a lot! I like how you can get the 8 piece wings and you can get 4 and 4 of 2 different flavors, so your not stuck between 2 different flavors or forced to have one flavor! read more

Went here yesterday. Awesome wings! The ghost pepper wings have a great slow heat that isn't completely overwhelming. The wicked fries, topped with Alfredo sauce and bacon, are lick the plate good. Also tried the mango habanero wings which had a good sweet and spicy flavor. Only three stars because the service was a bit slow and generally inattentive. Also the seating area wasn't clean. We were one of the first customers of the day and we had to ask for our booth to be wiped down before we sat. Something had been spilled on the seat the night before and never cleaned. The floor was also very slippery like it hadn't been cleaned properly. Each new table would look around puzzled as they slid their feet around on the floor. It's not fine dining, but the prices are reasonable and the food tasty. My daughter was home from college this weekend. We went on a Saturday evening around 7pm. I asked for a different table then they originally offered us because I hate those pub style tables (I'm short). The hostess was very accommodating. We got an order of boneless wings and two different types of quesadillas. The chicken quesadilla was the best tasting one I've eaten since leaving Tucson. The wings were huge, crisp, and the sauce (Korean BBQ) was delicious. The prices were very reasonable. My daughter had a raspberry margarita and I had soda. Don't listen to the negative reviews. This place makes great wings with a cool atmosphere. The boneless wings are nice and tender with plenty of delicious flavors to choose from. Yes the take out service was MIA for a while but only so they could keep up with the demand i'm assuming.
