Thank you for such a delicious hot butter lobster roll, my first one ever although I have been to Boston many times for family visit. I wish I bought one more. Definitely will get for my family to try when I will be back soon!

This restaurant is located in Quincy Market. It's a busy market, with lots of food choices. It was crowded with lively music. We ordered the sampler that came with four rolls, 2 clam chowders and 2 drinks for $49.99. This was a deal. The rolls were filled with the various seafood (lobster, shrimp, tuna and crab mix). Our order came out quick and it was all delicious. It was our first stop in food, and it was great choice. Definitely will recommend.

When in Bastan, try the Labsta! It's pretty pricy no matter where you go. The lobster roll we had was fresh and delicious! The staff were very kind to let us try the bisque and the clam chowder before deciding too! One of the best spots in Quincy market!

A DIY food court set up with a college vibe. My teen discover the lobster rolls, lobster Mac & cheese and crab cake all wonderful at a better price. Thumbs up

My first ever lobster roll, and this spot couldn't have made me love the dish more! With the ambiance of Quincy Market, eating here will make you feel like a true Bostonian. While the price is steep, the portions are actually quite large and the quality is great, so I'd definitely recommend this roll, it's more than just a tourist trap for sure! Additionally, the service here was fast, accommodating, and extremely friendly! I helped host a large event here with some of my friends, and purchasing a large catering order was made super easy by the helpful staff. Overall, the experience felt joyful and celebratory, and I'd certainly come back with friends or family for a trusted comfort lobster roll any day of the week!

Wicked Lobsta is located inside Quincy Market. My friend and I were excited to come here since we heard great things about it, especially the lobster roll. Came here on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. There isn't seating for Wicked Lobsta specifically, but plenty of tables in Quincy Market. We both ordered the Hot Lobsta Roll Special which comes with a lobster roll, small soup, and a drink of choice. Our food came out quickly and we were able to find a table to eat at. The soup was the New England Clam Chowda. It had good flavor, but was thinner than expected. The lobster roll was just okay. The bread was crispy on the top but very soggy on the bottom from the butter. The lobster was slightly sweet, but the texture was off. Some pieces were cooked well while others were rubbery. Overall, giving Wicked Lobsta a 3.5/5. Food is good but inconsistent. Our meals were very pricey for what we got. Service was good. Food came out quickly and staff were nice. We're glad we were able to try it.

Located in the Food Hall is Wicked Lobsta. We elected this place based on ratings and prices. We think we made a great decision. The bread bowl with the chowder was so soft. It was really good. The staff was friendly and offered us samples of the chowder. It was the best tasting of the samples that we tried. This is a fun lively experience and it has plenty it offer.

Came back here after about 4 years away. I remembered how much I loved it last time. This time I went for lobster pie. Honestly it was really good. I definitely devoured it. I remember the lobster roll being a better choice. This didn't seem as special as that was. Plus prices have nearly doubled since my last trip here which is certainly more indicative of the economy. It's still really good quality. But at that price I'm a little more likely to pivot to a steak tip dinner somewhere. Or, maybe get a shrimp roll here which is far cheaper and likely pretty good.

I walked through the market reading lobster roll descriptions 3 times and finally settled on Wicked Lobstah because it noted the "buttered brioche bun and extra butter". I didnt notice whether or not the bun was buttered but some of the bottom of it was saturated with butter. The roll was good but just not worth the $38, in my opinion. I know it's LOBSTER and that seemed like the going price, it just didn't give me the satisfaction I hoped for. Food was made to order and service was quick.

    Hot Buttered Lobster roll

The Hot Buttered Lobster Roll was awesome!!!! Fresh tasting. Simply prepared, excellent seafood w butter. Let's the lobster shine. (Not covered up with mayo or complicated sauces.) 5/5. Highly recommend this one. It's pricy. But it's lobster and it's Boston. we did have to ask several times about food allergy issue. . The staff listened and then talked amongst themselves and did not get back to us. But the 3rd time we asked someone, we finally got an answer. That's not the most reassuring response. But no issues from allergy standpoint. from a corporate stand point---Would suggest educating the staff. At least show them the labeling if any so they can easily respond to ingredient and allergen questions. 3/5 customer service. Lukewarm. They just want To take your order and for you to take your food and go away. Which normally is fine! But if you have a serious question, it's not fine. But the food itself is excellent.

We came here for a very quick bite, knowing that we needed to show up for a ghost tour in just a short time. It's in Faneuil Hall, which really is just a huge food court, with some touristy items on kiosks along the side. There were several places with seafood, and we randomly picked this one. We got: *Lobster bisque--very thin and runny. *Crab cakes--they were okay. Lots of filler (bread crumbs??), but cooked well *Shrimp scampi--the shrimps were big and the garlic butter was delicious. It was fine. Not great, not bad, just okay. It fed us, but is definitely not a place I would go back to. Hubby was spot on when he said that we ordered fast food and got fast food.

Combo - lobster roll and clam chowda
    Kathleen C.

In the busy Quincy market was a very busy lobster roll place. We tried the combo which included a cup of chowda and a garlic butter lobster roll. Let's just say I'm hooked! Bread was soft, toasted and buttery. The lobster sweet and tender. The New England clam chowder was the best we've had in the area thus far. Try it, you'll like it!

Enjoyed the clam chowder a lot. The mini seafood rolls were roughly cut, making the crab, shrimp, and lobster fall out easily. Flavor was good but wasn't mind blowing. Under 10 minutes between ordering and receiving food.

Food came out in a timely manner, no confusion, no chaos. They were friendly, attentive, and actually knew the menu, offering solid recommendations without overcomplicating it. Managing a group that size is not easy, and they made it look smooth. AMBIANCE: This place leans more Boston bar energy than traditional fine dining, and that is part of the charm. It was packed, a little tight at times, but it felt alive. You are not coming here for quiet elegance, you are coming for the buzz, the movement, and that shared experience of a packed room enjoying great food together. FOOD: We went all in and ordered family-style, almost tapas style, sharing everything across the table. Squid ink pasta, black pasta, fried calamari, grilled octopus, dish after dish hitting the table. Everything was delicious, but what really stood out was the sauce. The broths, the richness, the depth of flavor, that is what stayed with me. I found myself talking about it mid-meal, and I was not the only one. At one point, people were practically trying to drink the sauce straight from the plate. That is when you know it is hitting on another level. You know you're doing a good job when you put much thought down to how you make your sauces and broths. I was impressed from both a top down and bottom up level of culinary experience. IMPRESSIONS: I need to come back here to on more sauces and broths.

Turns out, it's about what you can expect from this type of chain: good service, very pleasant ambiance...and thoroughly mediocre, overpriced food. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of it came directly from Sysco. Previously I had tried the "Legal Seafoods Clam Chowder" sold at Costco, and found it to be very so-so compared to the "Captain Parker's" version sold at Market Basket. I was hoping the in-restaurant version would be much better. Wrong. Probably the most appalling thing about the food here were the fries, which come with most of the dishes unless you specifically ask for a substitute. I was glad that I did, because when I tasted my friend's fries, they were just about the most dry, bland, doughy-like frozen fries you could imagine. Only thing you can do with fries like that is to oversalt the bejesus out of them, and drown them in ketchup. Best thing we (party of 4) had was the Steak Salad---but when the menu says "petit sirloin" you dang better believe they MEAN "petit," lol ... it was about 3-4 mouthfuls tops! Really more of an appetizer worth $15 at most, not the $28 normal entree pricing. Fish and chips were particularly dismal---the fish was tasteless, most likely frozen just like the horrible fries. I've had better fish and chips from humble diner type places like Mike's Roast Beef in Everett, for Chrissakes. Hell, even Friendly's Fish and Chips doesn't seem that bad in comparison, lol. Swordfish and trout were somewhat less bad, but also suffered from the avalanche of cardboard fries. Anyways, now I know: I wasn't missing anything all these years.
