The live music, the people I was surrounded by and our waiter Jasmine made my experience. We had asked to be seated right by the stage (which they kindly obliged). I would go with an intimate group, by that I mean a party of 2 will probably have the best experience. I would not go to the restaurant if I was not sitting in the band section, because the food is very mediocre. We ordered a bunch of drinks, apps and mains. ( Queen Bee, La Cosmica, Tuna Crudo, Whipped Ricotta, Truffle Fries, Roasted chicken, Gnocchi) My picks are the Queen Bee drink, and the truffle fries. So moral is come for Jazz, drinks and apps...

They also brought out a little candle on my drink which was cute, but no dessert. The waiter was so nice, as were the host stand workers. The food and drinks overall were yummy, but some of the food was just OK. Ordered the special and wasn't told the price, which was almost triple everything else on the menu - yikes! But that's kind of our bad, it was truffle gnocchi lol. Will definitely be coming again. Great place for dates!

We actually went on a Friday morning, but the server told us the menu is the same, they were just less busy. We did make a reservation, and for the weekend it may be needed. They have a great spritz list for brunch, and both breakfast/brunch as well as lunch options. Some of the plates are quite large, and could be shared, but they have a few lighter options. And oh, the hash browns! This was one of my favorite things I ate on our trip to Boston. Crispy outside, the right soft potato inside, and buttery without being greasy. This place was awesome!!!…read more If you are a Gen X'er, and love great cocktails, you will love this place! So we are from out of town; Texas, to be exact, and we were in Boston on vacation. We were looking for a place we could get some drinks and appetizers, and maybe watch some sports. A person in our group found this place online, so we gave it a try. We loved it! The 80s & 90s decor, as well as the 80s & 90s music they were playing made it an instant hit for our Gen X group. Every single song that was played was on my personal playlist, so we sang along and danced at our table to the tunes that took us back in time. There were some early 2000s songs played, too, but all songs played were songs we know and love. So needless to say, we loved the music!! Also, the drinks...oh my, the drinks. They were so, so good! Some in our group had the Adult Caprisun, including myself. It was so tasty, and served in an actual pouch, which brought me back to my 80s childhood. Another in our group ordered the Pink Flamingo which came with a little inflatable pink flamingo that you could take home with you. We noticed that the drinks were just perfect, too; not too strong with alcohol, and not watered down, either. The food was okay. It's bar food, so it's not going to knock your socks off or anything, but it hits the spot if you are drinking and hanging with friends. Our server was good. She was attentive to our needs and took good care of us. It was interesting to me that we, a group of age 50 somethings, were the oldest among the clientele, as everyone else was probably in their 20s or early 30s, but we didn't care. We had a great time! The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is because someone in our group wanted to watch the Red Sox game, and apparently it was on Apple TV that night and the bar didn't have Apple TV.

The atmosphere is very casual and low-key, perfect for grabbing drinks and a bite without any pretense. I ordered a flatbread listed as a Margarita, but it was more like a cheese pizza than a true Margarita. It was still decent, just not what I expected. The online menu did not match what was available at the restaurant, which made ordering a little confusing. On the drink side, the wine selection was underwhelming, but the beer list was solid, and the cocktail menu stood out. They clearly put more focus on mixed drinks. This is not a fine dining destination, but it works well for what it is, a laid-back bar with better-than-average food and a great drink program. I rate it 3.5 stars, but will round up to 4 for the strong service and cocktails. It is a good choice if you're looking for a casual spot downtown with good energy.

We got appetizers to share and they were all delicious. We got the beet hummus, Vietnamese chicken tenders, and cauliflower. They were all well-prepared, flavorful, and a decent portion size for the 4 of us to share. Given the gorgeous ambiance of the place (which I thought might be their main draw), I was pleasantly surprised at how good their food was. This wasn't the best value place, but prices weren't egregious compared to similar spots. I would come back again to try more of their food options, but wouldn't choose their oyster deal over other options!

Our server was also great, very kind and attentive. Drinks were pretty good, expensive but comparable for the area. The food was just okay. Also not exactly the menu I was expecting for this type of establishment, it was mostly bar food. We ordered the Vietnamese chicken tenders, patatas bravas, and artichoke dip. The artichoke dip was shockingly bad in taste and presentation, but the other items were good. There was a bit of a health and safety concern when we visited; the bathrooms were closed due to flooding/sewage back up. My friends were advised to leave the building and try to enter the bar across the street to use the bathroom. Staff were required to do the same. We later heard from another staff member that the flooding had also impacted the kitchen. It seems like the establishment probably should've closed during this issue rather than send staff and patrons across the street and require kitchen staff to work and serve food in sewage/water.

Cocktails were creative and delicious. We enjoyed ourselves immensely! Staff were kind and attentive, and most importantly, they knew how to sling drinks. Our only criticism which keeps this from a 5 star review is that we ordered their chips and green goddess dip. The dip was fantastic, the chips on the other hand were not. It looked great as it came out, nice full chips on the top, but once we dug in, it was obvious that we received the bottom of the Ruffles bag, as most of the plate below the full chips were propped up by little crumbs and bits of chips that are impossible to dip. Literally half the chips were those crushed broken chips from the bottom of the bag. I still loved this place, but 12 bucks for broken chips sour cream, cucumber and dill. Not acceptable. Edit: My original 3 star review was changed to 5. This business cares about their customers and their product. After my review they kindly sent me an email stating that they missed the mark and refunded my credit card for the chips and dip. Thank you!
