I loved my experience here! As a matchbox collector I was so pleasantly surprised to see a basket of matchbooks on the host stand! For drinks I tried the titan and the brazilian drink. Both were great but the brazilian one was the best- tasted like candy! The food was fine, nothing crazy. I tried the caesar and burrata but neither were notable. Great ambiance overall tho. The tables are actually very well spaced out for a small restaurant. Loved it!

I really enjoyed this cool new speakeasy on Charles Street in Boston. Cool entryway with a porthole door (I hope they use a code to get in soon). The vibe is super 1920's with nice lighting. The bar is small (no standing room) but nice to sit and chill. The tables are great for small groups to have small bites and cocktails. I liked the French dip sandwich...just wish it was more shaved steak...but it was tasty with the au jus. Worth making a reservation or come super early to put in your name. The server was right on point, by the way...no overcrowding here. Great vibe and I highly recommend!

Gorgeous bar with delicious drinks. Service was fast and friendly. The bathroom was just as stunning as the bar itself.

Service was great, our waitress was quick and on point. We were able to get a quick drink and catch the commuter rail home. Lost in translation is exactly what the name says. I don't know how those flavors come out from mixing those ingredients. Impossible odds was delicious. I would definitely order this one, but it is small. The oil on the top really sends this one home!

Not a fan of string lights in a place where cocktails average $18-$20 but that's just me. My Permission to be Candid was good, but not so good I'd order it again. My partner's Switchblade (subbed out gin with vodka since I'm allergic to Juniper) was also good, but I expected it taste more "green" with the cryo watermelon and absinthe in it. The candy cigarettes we were given after paying the tab were a cute touch. We had fun trying to blow smoke. Overall it's a nice spot to grab a drink. The menu (online only) is not very user friendly - this is coming from a retired UI/UX and web designer. Having to click back and forth to get to each category of drinks is crazy. Especially when the drinks are very unique and have a list of ingredients. A nice coated paper version (like large playing cards?) would be much appreciated.

There is literally fun everywhere you look from the panda stuffed animal riding a tiger on the wall to the hilarious shrek pillow. Coming right when they open I was able to see these things that you would likely not see in the evening. But to be fair I came right when they opened since it is first come first serve. A majority of the drinks were more on the savory side which was very interesting like "may all your bacon burn" with bacon bites at the top of the drink. The drinks my friend had were all stunning with the use of egg yolk to elevate the drink. We ended the evening by walking over to Bow Market and trying Viet Citron which was so DANG GOOD my gosh. The to go orders were insane but looks like they are doing very well despite recently opening in. I got the grilled lemongrass pork ribs bowl and youtiao and the side sauce was so good. The ribs were all very meaty. It looks small but I was surprised how full I was after having it. Nice night of drinks and food. This hidden gem in the back alleys of Boston will have you questioning your decisions!…read more After a little search we finally found Hecates layer! There was a two hour wait, so we put our name on the list around 730 and this wait was true to the time for a 930 seating This is like walking into an underground layer with candle lit tables. There are only about 10-15 tables, making this the perfect intimate date night or friends night out Big shout out to Jewel the bartender and the staff! We had bar seats, so we had all the action right in front of us. Drink after drink, she meticulously crafted each and every drink with passion and poise and the bar boy topped off waters like it was magic. I started off with the Night March which was a blend of Stiggins' Fancy Pineapple, Kuleana Hawaiian Agricole, and Ten to One rums, toasted coconut, jade oolong & caramelized pineapple soda, salted guava foam. Fused with carbonation, this gold sparkly drink was mesmerizing and very fruity and delicious. I loved the guava foam!! My wife got Snake oil which was vodka, gin, eucalyptus, buckwheat, cedar smoke and tobacco bitters. This drink was earthy and smoky with nodes of the forest The drinks were pretty strong, so we ordered the chips and dip which was spicy feta and crispy pita chips. It was not spicy but it was very good. We stayed about 2 hours, which flew by! A great time and I can't wait to come back. Oh and the menu has a secret feature!! Blacklight stories in every page!! Very interactive I love it!

The staff said people start lining up at 4:30PM (opens at 5pm). The crazy thing is while we were inside we noticed at one point that half the room was left empty for 45 minutes at least - never once was the place fully utilized. It felt that the wait times were artificially inflated due to the poor use of space and turnover. There are few staff so sometimes it was hard to flag down the server as well. My friend and I each had two drinks. In terms of drinks the flavors were all interesting, ranging from nutty to umami to herbal etc, and presentation is fancy. It's fun to try but not also drinks you would want again and again or what you would normally reach for. - Without my friend, I probably would have missed the entrance multiple times. - They really lean into their Underworld theme, so it's very dark but you do get acclimated. - The lady at the front wished my friend happy birthday twice but didn't offer anything.

First, hotel guests receive priority access, which is important because during peak hours it can be extremely difficult to get in. Second, there's something luxurious about enjoying a great night out and then simply taking the elevator back to your room. We arrived at 10:30 PM on an incredibly busy Saturday night, and despite the crowds, the staff handled our reservation, made well in advance, with professionalism and care. The DJ was fantastic and set the tone for a fun evening from the moment we arrived. This is definitely a place built for cocktails and late-night energy. The drinks were well crafted, the atmosphere was electric, and our server did a great job taking care of our table throughout the evening.
