Just after he left, Luke sent me a quote including his detailed recommendations and pictures/video/observations. I felt respected, heard, and he not only quoted me, but offered to help me navigate next steps with the roofers who need to fix said problems. Because of his professionalism and kindness, I would absolutely recommend him to others and will keep this company in mind for any other needs. If our roofers refuse to complete the job and repair said issues, we will absolutely use QF&CS. I wish I would've had them do this originally!

Charged $704 and no cleaning. I was suspicious so i called our builder who recommended another company. As the other reviews on this page note, i was told by the 2nd company there was no damage and no need for any relining. To add insult to inury they tried to tell me that "relining" isnt as good as replacing the "whole chimney" for $35,000. The 2nd company said that there was no need for any repair but if there were, a relining was about $1,600. This is fraud. And if they say we aren't listed as a customer as apparently they do, I will post the invoice and the charge. Beware.

While they were not the least expensive, I selected them after reviewing the job with Christo, the owner. He was very knowledgeable and was straight forward regarding the extent of possible issues that may be uncover when the shingles are removed from such an older building (1929). Christo has an extensive portfolio of quality materials to choose from and his suggestions really helped steer me towards the best possible outcome. The work began very shortly after the paperwork was completed and even after finding that the original roof had 3 layers of failed shingles in some areas, had extensive wood rot at the decking, fascia and soffit areas, needed replacement roof ventilation and also required additional work to remove an old school TV antenna... the roof was completed beautifully and ahead of schedule! Communication was on-going and professional throughout the entire job. The clean up was meticulous and complete. Gutters and downspouts were installed a few days later and the house really looks great! The person swore up and down that I would be getting my siding replaced for the cost of my homeowners insurance deductible. A week down the road the person called and said that my insurance company isn't paying enough and they would be losing money if they resided my home. I then asked the representative to quote me the cost of residing my home given the insufficient payout from the insurance company. I never got a call back from them. To make a long story short, Loyal Family Renovations backed out of the deal. They should not be promoting the way they do if they aren't willing to back up their promises. They hook you with a verbal promise but in writing they leave themselves an out.

I made that very clear to the scheduler. The scheduler confirmed that that could be done. I subsequently received an email confirming the appointment. I replied, repeating my insistence that I simply wanted the repair made in a single visit without a separate visit from an estimator. Sure enough, an estimator arrived 20 minutes late without any equipment. He was downright rude when I complained, saying "no one does business that way." I told him that Guardian was put on notice at least twice that I was not interested in a two step process. I would not have bothered taking time off from work had they simply told me they required a two step process. At my request, the manager called me, and I explained the situation. She was pleasant on the phone and said that she would she she could find someone in the organization to address the issue. I forwarded the earlier email for her records. She promptly acknowledged receipt. That was all two weeks ago. I never heard from her again. She did not respond to three follow-up emails of increasing urgency. The repair still have not been made, and I am back to square one. I DID receive a robotext asking me to rate my experience. (eyeroll). Stay away from these people. They are arrogant and beyond worthless unless you have a major project, and even then you have to worry about how they respond to a problem. Dear Guardian: am sorry I am not worth your precious time. It will not happen again.

They did a sealant on our…read moreroof, but due to the age of the roof that plan did not hold up - they did explain to us that we really should have a new roof, which we agreed with and they subsequently gave us a credit off of the original quote. Workers were very diligent and hard-working. The project managers had to deal with extra problems that were uncovered when the old roof was taken off - many layers and uneven spots, for which we did pay extra. Our problem is with the follow up. While our manager/site boss - not exactly sure what his title is -was communicative during the process and did come back to follow up with some debris that was left in the gutter, etc. we told him that our large front bush got damaged. He assured us that they have a company that they work with, and that he would have them get in touch with us. That was three months ago, and I have sent him five texts, none of which were answered. While the roof itself seems fine, the lack of follow-up communication does not bode well for potential future problems.
