(2024)The roof looks great the crew worked very efficiently and got the job done in a day that was before it changed owners. One year later(2025) I had Semper Fi look at my new roof for hail damage. I was told I would need about 20 shingles replaced. I didn't turn it in to the insurance company because it was the same cost as my deductible $2000. After 3 attempts last year to get a estimate from them so I could move forward no one ever contacted me to schedule the repair. I called back this spring and they sent out another estimator. That estimate was 13k. So I called the insurance company and got paid to do the roof. After asking Semper Fi to send the estimate so I can approve it the estimator said he had to review it with his boss. I was called back 2 weeks later with a 29k estimate???. The original cost 2 years ago was 20k, thats nearly a 50 percent increase. So under the new management I have to give them a 1 star very disorganized and overpriced. I found another local contractor with a better rating and 6k less than Semper Fi. That's using the same shingles and warranty. Thirteen months into this and Semper Fi has yet to send me a estimate. So before you decide on Semper Fi at least get a couple of estimates. The new owners are more expensive read more

I called Semper Fi in mid May, for a deck repair. The soonest I could get a appointment for a estimate was 6/20/24 with Justin. Justin looked at the problem and gave me range numbers. He said he had to put everything into the computer to get the exact estimate. Justin said I would get the estimate at the end of the following week 6/27-28/2024. After not hearing anything I called Semper Fi on 7/3/24. I was told Justin was off until 7/8 but he would be contacted and would follow up again on 7/8. Not hearing anything I called again on 7/12 and was told someone would get back to me that same day. No call back. I emailed on 7/16 asking if I would be getting a estimate. Our house is 100+ years old, nothing is level (or easy) and yet Zak & his crew did a great job replacing our old vinyl siding with hardi board and it looks beautiful. Zak was responsive to questions or concerns-all in all a great experience. His crew was professional, hardworking & reliable. Sales person and pitch were great. Project manager and crew left something to be desired. Very missing leading and not forthcoming with opitions. Was talked into OSB board (2400 dollars) to bring the roof to code (a lie). After we found out there is no code for roof replacement. Aslo we told there were areas on the roof with larger gaps than shingle manufacturer allowed for warranty (another reason for OSB). Found out (per manufacturer) that we could have opted to have 2 layers of roof paper installed which would have been much less expensive. After talkng with a couple other roofers and showing them the pictures, they indicated they would have just replaced those few boards. Had damages to products installed as well as some of our lights and leaf gaurd gutters. Debris not cleaned up, papers, wrapping, nails and wet wads of caulk in our yard (? if the dog ingested it?) We agreed to over look some damages if the repairs were done on time and correctly. The crew was a no show, and no contact for 4 days. They came back out and attempted to repair some damages, still was unacceptable. Have them on video using our yard for a bathroom, talking about how "picky" and "ridiculous" we were being about wringles/ripples and dents in the new drip edge.Took nearly a month and a half to get everything corrected. read more

Semper Fi just finished residing our house. We could not be more pleased with this company. From the first time we talked with them at the Home and Garden Show they were very polite, respectful and helpful to the end of the project. From the estimator to the workers there was communication about what had to be done, what could be done and what was done. When a problem was discovered (caused by a previous contractor) I was made aware of it immediately and given a solution that would be done to correct it. Precise work with as little disruption as possible in a timely manner. Complete cleanup. The end result of the work is happiness of this customer. read more

Semper Fi has excellent sales personnel who go beyond just selling. They work hard to make sure projects are completed. Joe was very helpful when there was a problem with communication. The Hispanic carpentry crew was on time, did a good job and were great to work with. The project is finally complete and I am impressed with the result. My original cedar sided chimney had deteriorated after 30 years. I chose Semper Fi to replace the cedar with Hardy board. The replacement materials were an excellent match to my home's siding and I am looking forward to many years of maintenance-free service. Energy Savings Systems of Waukesha installed a new cap to complete the job and the quality of the materials and workmanship were top notch. I am very pleased with the results of the job and look forward to many trouble-free years. I am totally pleased with the workers who completed the project.
