That has been the key. HomeSealed makes it so much easier. I've had bad experiences with other contractors on different projects, and have been frustrated and treated pretty unprofessionally. The team at Elite was awesome -- Ryan walked us through the whole process, answered all our questions, and was a huge help during the planning stages. Jeremie was our project manager and kept us in the loop on everything. Whenever we had questions, he was quick to get answers and help us out. We even ran into a couple of unexpected issues along the way, and Jeremie was on top of those too. The crew, led by Rudy, did a great job -- professional and a well-oiled machine. They completed the job in just 2.5 days, and our house looks wonderful. The second job was a re-roof on our cottage, which came out of a conversation with Ryan. Even though the cottage wasn't in their immediate service area, Elite gave us a proposal that was right in our price range. The team, led by Jake, Manuel, and Eric, was awesome -- efficient and professional, and they finished the job in one day. Our neighbor's contractor was watching the crew work and even commented on how efficient they were. The roof looks great. I'd highly recommend Elite Exteriors to anyone.

The crew was efficient yet thorough. They worked very well as a team. As with any project, there was one unexpected repair that was needed. Elite made sure that repair was done at their expense and the repair was done with expertise. Project two - a roof at our cottage. Karl communicated with us multiple times to coordinate this project and ensure all plans were accurate. This crew was also very efficient and the contractors working next door even commented that they worked like a well-oiled machine. We called Modern Exterior to see if they could not only fix it but fix it quickly as another storm was predicted that could have taken the entire gutter down. They sent someone out that day to reattach the gutter to the house. The next day they came back and painted and replaced the rotted facia board and then reattached the gutter. Gave him a call and he was VERY easy to talk to. He said he would come right when the rain let up and he actually ended up coming the next day cause it rained too much that day. He reached out to me the next day and came in a very timely manner. He was professional, kind, explained everything very well and I honestly have zero baseline knowledge of this stuff. He had very reasonable prices from what I could tell and even fixed the roof leak right away. If it didn't work he offered to come back and had another plan in place, but he was right the first time and fixed it perfectly! While they were not the least expensive, I selected them after reviewing the job with Christo, the owner. He was very knowledgeable and was straight forward regarding the extent of possible issues that may be uncover when the shingles are removed from such an older building (1929). Christo has an extensive portfolio of quality materials to choose from and his suggestions really helped steer me towards the best possible outcome. The work began very shortly after the paperwork was completed and even after finding that the original roof had 3 layers of failed shingles in some areas, had extensive wood rot at the decking, fascia and soffit areas, needed replacement roof ventilation and also required additional work to remove an old school TV antenna... the roof was completed beautifully and ahead of schedule! Communication was on-going and professional throughout the entire job. The clean up was meticulous and complete. Gutters and downspouts were installed a few days later and the house really looks great! I can 100% recommend 1st Choice Roofing... and have already passed their contact information on to both family and friends.

I made that very clear to the scheduler. The scheduler confirmed that that could be done. I subsequently received an email confirming the appointment. I replied, repeating my insistence that I simply wanted the repair made in a single visit without a separate visit from an estimator. Sure enough, an estimator arrived 20 minutes late without any equipment. He was downright rude when I complained, saying "no one does business that way." I told him that Guardian was put on notice at least twice that I was not interested in a two step process. I would not have bothered taking time off from work had they simply told me they required a two step process. At my request, the manager called me, and I explained the situation. She was pleasant on the phone and said that she would she she could find someone in the organization to address the issue. I forwarded the earlier email for her records. She promptly acknowledged receipt. That was all two weeks ago. I never heard from her again. She did not respond to three follow-up emails of increasing urgency. The repair still have not been made, and I am back to square one. I DID receive a robotext asking me to rate my experience. (eyeroll). Stay away from these people. They are arrogant and beyond worthless unless you have a major project, and even then you have to worry about how they respond to a problem. Dear Guardian: am sorry I am not worth your precious time. It will not happen again.

Have had a LOT of communication with Guardian over the past few years. They did a sealant on our…read moreroof, but due to the age of the roof that plan did not hold up - they did explain to us that we really should have a new roof, which we agreed with and they subsequently gave us a credit off of the original quote. Workers were very diligent and hard-working. The project managers had to deal with extra problems that were uncovered when the old roof was taken off - many layers and uneven spots, for which we did pay extra. Our problem is with the follow up. While our manager/site boss - not exactly sure what his title is -was communicative during the process and did come back to follow up with some debris that was left in the gutter, etc. we told him that our large front bush got damaged. He assured us that they have a company that they work with, and that he would have them get in touch with us. That was three months ago, and I have sent him five texts, none of which were answered. While the roof itself seems fine, the lack of follow-up communication does not bode well for potential future problems.
