This company recently installed a new roof and gutters on our home and garage. They were the lowest bid while including more services than other companies. Doug, the owner is very knowledgeable and professional. He fully explained all work to be completed and the quality products his company uses. The crew arrived on time, did an outstanding installation job and clean up was very good. When Doug came to inspect the roof and gutter installation and collect the balance, I signed another contract with his company! The roof and gutter experience was so great we've hired Evansen Builders to replace all the window trim and fascia. Since his roof and gutter bid was so great, we didn't even get a second estimate for this work. The overall experience with Evansen builders was outstanding and their work and product line is excellent!

He offered to remove his boots as he went to investigate our leaking issues surrounding our chimney. He took thorough pictures and notes on the issues and encouraged me to reach out to the roofers we used over the summer. Just after he left, Luke sent me a quote including his detailed recommendations and pictures/video/observations. I felt respected, heard, and he not only quoted me, but offered to help me navigate next steps with the roofers who need to fix said problems. Because of his professionalism and kindness, I would absolutely recommend him to others and will keep this company in mind for any other needs. If our roofers refuse to complete the job and repair said issues, we will absolutely use QF&CS. I wish I would've had them do this originally!

Charged $704 and no cleaning. I was suspicious so i called our builder who recommended another company. As the other reviews on this page note, i was told by the 2nd company there was no damage and no need for any relining. To add insult to inury they tried to tell me that "relining" isnt as good as replacing the "whole chimney" for $35,000. The 2nd company said that there was no need for any repair but if there were, a relining was about $1,600. This is fraud. And if they say we aren't listed as a customer as apparently they do, I will post the invoice and the charge. Beware.

What amazed me is that, once he saw the condition of my concrete slab, he advised that it really didn't need the work I anticipated. Rather than do unnecessary work (which would have benefited him), he gave his honest opinion, which benefited me. And rather than grouse for having to leave with no hope for financial gain, he was pleasant and seemed happy to give the advice. It was a great example of trying to benefit the customer. Dan's Masonry Repair is at the top of my list for future projects.

Wanted to give a huge "shout out" to Community Roofing & Restoration for the absolutely outstanding…read morejob they did on my roof! The new dark shingles gave my house a complete face lift, a new look and I couldn't be happier. They went above and beyond in so many ways. Their entire team was professional, competent and continually kept me updated and was a joy to work with. They pointed out areas that needed repair that could have caused issues down the road that other roofers didn't even acknowledge. They also did an extra job that wasn't "roof related" but had the ability to do. This saved me from hiring another contractor. We ran into a little "snafu" (which can happen!) but they addressed it expeditiously and efficiently. I would highly recommend them! I trusted them which is so crucial in making such a large investment. And of course, get other bids. But no one will be able to match what they can and will do. Thanks to all involved!!

We expected our roof and gutters to last longer than three years, and unfortunately that is not the case. We invested in seamless gutters that were supposed to be customized and properly secured to our building, but that is not at all what we received. Community Roofing did not properly fasten the gutters to the fascia, so they are falling off of the building. In some sections, Community Roofing sloped the gutters toward our house instead of the downspouts, creating water intrusion problems. The shingles are already starting to look shabby and some have nails starting to protrude. The customer service has been even worse than the workmanship. We reached out to Community Roofing repeatedly and they just blew us off.

Jim's a nice guy, very knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the morning about what was going on He even pointed out problems with the old piping that was the heart of our issues. Steve quoted $1,000. His crew showed up and barely ground out the old mortar (going only a 1/2 inch deep before coating the seams with new mortar). I climbed on the roof and noted the shotty work. I called and texted Steve to discuss. He himself said mortar should be no less than 3/4" to 1". FYI, web says 2 to 3 times the width of a joint. Then Steve scolded his staff for telling me that they only did 1/2" (see photo of receipt). Steve was more upset that I knew the truth about the work they completed then he was about rectifying the job. He wanted me to call Champion (another local biz to confirm his story - i certainly wouldn't trust them either). He refused to adjust the bill and threatened to pull his team without them finishing. Steve had added all of these requests onto the quote that I knew were not yet needed & were confirmed by two other masonry's! I get trying to upsell, but don't add things to the quote a customer actually doesn't need right at that moment if that's not what they're asking for! Bring it to their attention & let them know it's something that needs to be watched & eventually addressed, but not at this time. And give the quote for what 'is' needed instead of trying to scam them out of more money for whatever reason you may have; no moral, no values, need the work/money, etc.!?! The masonrys that I had come look over my place, I questioned them re: all these additionals & said 'both' companies were so honest & said the 'exact same things'; "the majority I didn't need & the rest could just be watched & done if/when the problem ever gets worse"! The one I ultimately chose for various reasons, went above and beyond what they were hired to do & my home looks beautiful again! So the moral of the story is, please get multiple quotes from companies, no matter how small of businesses you are choosing to go with! It's worth it in the end...!
