He never tried to upsell me and was very honest and polite. A very professional crew tore down my old roof and installed the new one. They were very cautious and careful and left the yard completely clean and free of any nails or roofing material. The straightforward approach sent me a written estimate along with a contract. They never asked for a deposit, just payment in full upon completion. I'm very pleased with their professionalism and would highly recommend them. A pleasure to deal with.

Unfortunately I have a low pitched roof so during the recent heavy rains, we've had some water seepage probably due to too much water on the roof. I have emailed Rob's roofing about the leaks on several occasions and each time, they come out and take care of the offending leak. They even went as far as to remove an edge vent that was preventing the natural flow of water off my roof which was causing water backups and leaks. They installed regular vents in it's place and that solved the leaking issue. We've had some torrential downpours over the past month or so and the attic has remained dry. So, Rob's roofing does stand by their product. No run-around or excuses. They came right out and fixed whatever needed fixing.

In addition, I wanted to get gutters added to the garage since we didn't have them before; the previous homeowners never added them. I had requested bids from about five different companies and wanted to see how everyone compared and what they recommended. James stopped by, and we talked about the various areas I had for immediate concern. I received fast quotes and recommendations on how they would proceed. We ended up using Scott Geboy Remodeling and Roofing and loved the service from start to finish. Everyone was attentive, and the roof work and gutter work were done within the time frames they stated--there were no unexpected surprises. They took care of the chimney flashing, new roof shingles, gutters, and about a dozen or more items on their checklist of operations. Everything was impressive, and doing roof work is no easy task. You spend a lot of money in a very short time, and I felt good about paying Scott and James for all the work they performed with their team on our house and garage. I recommend them to friends, and my family recommended them since they've done work for family members already. They've been doing this work for over 40 years, and their methodical processes are a testament to their experience. Also, the dumpster that was needed to be dropped measured 8X 20 ----a good peice of info to have. The quote I received to do the work was fair--this is a smaller, and, in my experience, honest local company that is not out to gouge you. Once they were able to show up and do the work, they were fast, professional, courteous and efficient. A crew of 3 guys tore my rotten clay tile roof off, and replaced it with asphalt shingle in just 1 day----- on a 25 x 25 ft Greendale original home with a pyramid hip roof, plus a small adjacent, 10 X 8 ft utility room roof, plus a cleaned up the yard fairly decently as well, before leaving that day. (The dumpster remained till the following day though--but it was also removed quickly at jobs end) The company has been professional during every step of the process. The crew cleaned up fairly well, but there were a few things --some tile chips and debris here and there, 2 or 3 roofing nails left in the driveway, some tile and debris on the front porch overhang, and some scrapes on the siding where tile had scraped when it was pushed off the roof--(which were easily removed with mineral spirits) , and a piece of scaffold equipment still up on the roof near the chimney which was possibly left for inspection purposes. I can't complain though --considering the monumental mess with piles of debris this job created. Owner Keith sent a follow-up guy to clean up these things to my satisfaction and the guy made sure I was happy with everything was A-OK before he left. The cleaner that was used to remove the scrape marks worked like a charm--with no marks visible after. The house looks exactly as it did before the job began except now it has a new roof! This company prides itself on doing a good job and getting Angie's List rewards, it means a lot to them. I thought the price for the job was fair. Also, they provide a 10-year warranty on their work, and the shingles themselves have a 50-year warranty on them, in case there are unforeseen issues ahead. They deserve the solid reviews they get. I would hire them again. And may do so for an attic insulation job, which they also specialize in.

They quoted us reasonably below the numerous other roofing companies in the area . Instead of a complete reconstruction of our chimney, the supervisors of the job suggested a covering of flashing that not only protected our chimney but also looks aesthetically pleasing . Weeks later we had a torrential rain storm and there was a minor leak on our chimney . After an email, they showed up the same day and quickly fixed the problem ! The prompt response and professional attitude is something that is lacking these days , but not with this company , THEY ARE ACES in my book !!
