Not knowing any roofers, we looked on Yelp and found favorable reviews for Evansen Builders. (The Better Business Bureau gives them an A+ rating.) With 5 star reviews, a competitive price, and a salesman who responded very quickly to any phone call or text from us, we chose Evansen. Shingles and other materials were delivered the day before. On the day of our project, the large Evansen crew started at 7am with a complete tear off. Roofing boards were repaired as needed. Ice and water barrier, etc. were installed along with new metal in the valleys, which were our problem areas. 50-year Owens-Corning Duration dimensional shingles went on top. They also put a new roof on our detached garage. The cleanup was absolutely perfect and they were finished by sunset. Everyone on the well-organized crew had a task to, knew how to do it and kept at it till the job was done. I was impressed. A few days later, another Evansen crew came to install new larger capacity rain gutters and downspouts on our house and garage. They followed all my requests to a T. I would highly recommend Evansen Builders.

The roofers came super early (6:30am) and were done by 3pm. They were good about cleaning and using the magnet to check the yard for nails. Steve's Masonry was the first company to agree to show up and quote the work. Admittedly I still have sticker shock as I have no idea how much this type of work costs. But they took care of everything and even came back out to finish a few spots missed in the initial visit. The whole process was quick too, Milan quoted the repair on a weekend and one of his guys was there within the week. Milan was a very nice guy and his workers got the job done. Overall we had a good experience with Steve's Masonry. I would recommend them for anyone needing this type of work on their home.

Steve quoted $1,000. His crew showed up and barely ground out the old mortar (going only a 1/2 inch deep before coating the seams with new mortar). I climbed on the roof and noted the shotty work. I called and texted Steve to discuss. He himself said mortar should be no less than 3/4" to 1". FYI, web says 2 to 3 times the width of a joint. Then Steve scolded his staff for telling me that they only did 1/2" (see photo of receipt). Steve was more upset that I knew the truth about the work they completed then he was about rectifying the job. He wanted me to call Champion (another local biz to confirm his story - i certainly wouldn't trust them either). He refused to adjust the bill and threatened to pull his team without them finishing. Don't trust this company! His team was also very condescending. I am very knowledgeable about construction. They lied to my face and were quite smug while doing so.

When I had questions (and I had a lot of questions), he answered every phone call with excellent customer service and patience. The crew made sure every one was put in perfectly and even asked me to verify that I liked how they looked. I am so pleased with the work and the kindness that Integrity displayed during the job. At the end of the day, I would trust Chris and Integrity like if they are family.

When they came here to do our quote, they went up on our roof, did measurements, wrote out the full quote and gave it to us on the spot. This was surprising because we've had 5 or 6 quotes on our roof in the past couple years, and Integrity was the only company that even went on the roof. Also, their quote was much more detailed than the rest. It made us feel like they actually wanted the job. A few days before they started, they dropped off the shingles (they put them all on the house roof & garage roof), and separately dropped off the big dumpster for their trash. The workers were at our house early on the day of the job, I think it was about 7am. This isn't a complaint, it's just a warning to those with young kids or third shifters -- once they're on the roof, it's gonna be LOUD 'til they're done. The workers were quick, efficient and courteous. Around noon a man from Integrity stopped over to see if the crew needed additional supplies from the store, asked us if we had any questions, and brought the crew lunch. He was friendly and helpful to the workers and to us. The full job was done around 4pm including clean up. I only found 4 or 5 nails that they missed -- not too shabby considering the enormous amount of trash a 2 layer tear-off and a new roof creates. A few days after the job was complete, the owner came over to inspect the crew's work, and he asked if we had any questions or issues. We were really impressed by this, because often it's after the workers leave that you realize you had a question or two. It's a little difficult parting with that much money, but it was well worth it. We had one of those houses where the shingles were curling and falling off. When I look at our house these days, I don't have that aching feeling that the next storm may be the start of leaks inside our home. Now we've got one of the snazziest roofs on the block. Every part of our experience with Integrity was excellent; we highly recommend their work.

From the moment I contacted them, the experience was 5-star. They were responsive, easy to schedule, and confirmed the appointment the day before. The technician arrived right on time and was incredibly courteous and professional. What sets Gutter Tuneup apart is the quality of the work and their willingness to go above and beyond. They didn't just scoop out debris; they performed a full system inspection. They found a crucial misalignment issue on the back of the house that was causing the major leak. Instead of just cleaning and leaving, they fixed the pitch and sealed the joint on the spot, solving a problem that multiple other companies missed or ignored. The gutters now flow perfectly, even during heavy rain. They also did the best cleanup I've ever seen--absolutely no mess, leaves, or debris were left on my lawn, deck, or driveway. They treated my property with respect. If you need basic cleaning or, like us, you need an expert to finally fix a recurring issue, stop searching and call Gutter Tuneup. They are worth every single penny. Highest recommendation possible!
