My eyes were wide open for quality. My first introduction to HomeSealed was from a YouTube made by a southern company. I started looking very closely to see if they would fit my needs. From the first contact to the installation, everything was seamless. Nick, my sales rep was timely and very well spoken. All my questions were answered. The office staff was excellent to deal with and gave us just the right amount of attention for updates on the progress of manufacture to setting the date for the install process. Right on schedule our installer arrived and worked nonstop. He was very experienced and all of his work was stellar. When we have our next set of windows done, we will request him. He was very professional, paid close attention to our landscaping and did as little disruption inside and out as was possible. After applying the "senior and military discount," the price dropped to $9,400. When we told him that was far too high, he suddenly said, "Let me call the owner." I've played this game before, so I already knew where this was going. He called the owner, and I could hear the conversation clearly. Suddenly, there were "rebates" available, and apparently, if we agreed to leave a 5-star review after the work was completed, they could bring the price all the way down to $4,900. So let me get this straight: five windows go from $11,000 $9,400 $4,900 in a matter of minutes? How is that legitimate, transparent pricing? If you can reduce a quote by more than half simply because a customer pushes back--and tie another discount to a 5-star review--it makes you question what the actual fair price was in the first place. We had hoped for a straightforward, honest, and transparent pricing process. Instead, this experience left us questioning the reliability of your quotes and the way you do business.

Can't answer that because they never responded. Value? Since they didn't respond, can't answer that either. It's not worth anything of value (because you can't pay anything) if you get no response to the quote request for service. The bottom line is two-part. 1: Yelp needs to stop suppressing valid reviews. Please make sure you open "not recommended" - chances are the majority are valid and the positive ones are paid or fake somehow. 2: If a quote request comes, be a decent business and respond, even if it's to respectfully decline to serve.

I had used a competitor in the past who charged a lot more and wasn't as responsive. They offer a high quality product at a price I found to be of great value. They even acknowledged one window had a scratch and they would reorder and replace which was resolved in a couple weeks. So I really appreciate that they owned up to a minor issue and had it resolved. I'm now having them look at doing a new front door for me because I was so pleased with their service and value. Thinking of a remodel, be very careful with what J&J Contractors tells you. Our project was a…read moresimple interior staircase and we were told they use all their own people and their contract Terms stated 90 days to complete the project. First of all their own people are designers and project managers, all labor is done by sub-contractors. Unless you are assigned their "A" team be very concerned because we initially were not and spent 4 miserable months under poor project management and poor carpentry work which had to be torn out twice. Nothing was installed to code twice and the railing was only held in place by three nails. During these first 4 months there was not one minute of work done one whole month. Finally executive management visited our home and immediately said to tear out everything and proceeded to change the project manager and assigned their No. 1 project manager, carpenter, painter and carpet installer. In just over another month because of minor problems we have a finished project. Total project took 98 days (only Mon-Fri counts) so we asked for price concessions since it exceeded the contract of 90 days and we are paying over $30,000. They conceded like $300 and said the delays were largely because of scheduling sub-contractors through a very busy 2022 fall. Of course there is wordage in the contract they can quote. It would have been a big risk on our part to go to court and possibly shelling out even more money to cover that expense. Definitely a terrible experience.
