Had to resort to Email and when we thought that we were dealing with Scott from Godske, we found out later that his email was hacked and our down payment was sent to a third party and cannot be recovered. Scott from Godske claimed no ownership, was rude, and would not deliver on the proposed work as he did not received the downpayment. We are now out of our downpayment and have to start all over with another company.

Due to COVID, we have been very understanding and we know materials are hard to get, that is why we were fine waiting a few months to get this project completed. However, every time I called the office, Scott seemed lost and didn't have an update on the project. Eventually, he kept repeating that he couldn't get the fabric to do the job, but he would try different fabricators to find it. Mind you that we have a basic, green awning. And we were only replacing about 6 panels. Fast forward to Friday, October 8, 2021, five months after hiring this company, I call Scott and as usual, he has no idea what the status of the fabric is. He said he would let me know on Monday. Over the weekend I received our deposit check back and a note saying that they will not be completing this project. No telephone call, no referral to another company, no compromise, no alternative option, NOTHING. This means that since May, he has made no progress in obtaining the material and a couple of weeks before the winter season is to begin, he dishonorably leaves us high and dry to find a new vendor to perform the work he hasn't been able to perform since May. I call his office, the receptionist (I believe it's his wife or daughter) answers the phone and with the biggest attitude tells me that she is the one who mailed me the letter and there is nothing else she/they will do about it. No referral, no help, just unprofessionalism through and through. And to top it all off, as I am speaking with her, she hangs up on my face. What a disrespectful bunch and what a complete waste of time. So, if you care about your time and you want the project done, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. These folks only care about themselves and will drop you in an instant. If I could give them zero stars, I would because then it would be the same amount of effort as they put into this project.

We had to call repeatedly and they had at least 4 rehang dates they never showed for. The owner told me if we wanted to pay double for the rehang he would get someone out but he doesn't make much money on that. What?!! It took the guys 90 minutes to finally hang it and they did great BUT my bill used to be $175 for a rehang and now is $400 plus they charged $100 more than quoted to clean the canopy AND billed us 3% more in tax than our county. I wish there was another choice because we have had screens 15 years and it's gotten unbearable to deal with them.
