    5pc catfish and fries
    Perry W.

My little cousin and I was actually looking for a fish n chip spot since the one we wanted to try was closed. We happen to stumble across this wonderful food truck. I am glad I did and may I say the owner is super welcoming. He even walked over to our car to give us our food! Anyways let us start with the chicken wings. I actually loved the chicken wings. Crispy and seasoned really well. You can literally just eat the wings by itself or you can dip it in the garlic ranch and kick your taste buds up a level. I would get the wings again for sure. My little cousin got the fish sandwich and he loved it. It was hefty and delicious. The fish was hot and overall one of the better fish sandwiches I have had. I got the 5 cat fish PC that came with either fries, potato salad or a salad. I went with fries and the potato salad. Fries are seasoned well which i was super happy. The cat fish was delicious because it did not have that overwhelming muddy taste that usually comes from cat fish. Fish was fried to perfection and the breading was delicious. I will for sure come back. I do wish that maybe in the future he can make some homemade drinks like sweet tea or lemonade. Overall no complaints!

Fish is perfectly cooked, flavor is perfect

I was having a flash craving for a fried fish sandwich and was sure I'd have to go all the way to Oakland but this place came up on Yelp and did not disappoint.

Its a casual, Korean cafe located in a small strip mall and adjacent to Hernandez Park. The name is a bit of a misnomer. Yes they specialize in a variety of bone-in, Korean Fried Chicken with multiple flavor options. But turn the menu over and you'll see even more options for bento boxes, tofu soup, hot stone rice dishes (dolsot) and more. Service was fast and friendly, but don't overstay your welcome since the restaurant is small and very popular. Bulgolgi bento was awesome - it comes with ita own banchan, japchae, fried gyoza, and a food portion of beef that our 6yo som devoured by himself. Chicken Dolsot was also a solid dish - I like having veggies, carbs, and proteins all in one on a sizzling bowl with a fried egg. Wife and her bestie shared a half order of soy garlic KFC, which were large, crispy, and sticky. Its my favorite KFC flavor and wished we got a full order so I can have some more, LOL. Definitely keeping this place in mind for future visits. A good dinner takeout place if I ever need to work late from Richmond during evening commute.

I also had their chowder of the day, which was really good! It was made with rockfish. My daughter had the bouillabaisse and that was really good. I wish I had ordered that! Do not go after dark because the roads to the restaurant are not lighted! Would definitely go again, but while there's still sunlight out, lol!

This side of the bridge has been overdue for a solid AYCE sushi spot and Sake definitely delivers!…read moreThey have a ton of options to offer on their dinner AYCE menu, but they also have an a la carte menu if you or someone in your party may not have the appetite for an all you can eat meal. The food exceeded our expectations and was definitely way better quality than we were anticipating. All of the items on the AYCE were prepared to order; it wasn't a buffet where the food is just sitting out for people to grab. Service was friendly and prompt with requests. Overall, a great first experience. Sake is located off of Fitzgerald Drive in the same parking area as In and Out and Roundtable Pizza. (It occupies the space of the former Outback Steakhouse.) There is plenty of free parking right in front of the restaurant. There is also ample seating inside the restaurant for diners wanting to eat in. We came in on a weekday for dinner and they definitely got busy quickly. As I mentioned, service was friendly and they were very quick with requests. Of course as they got busier through the night, the servers' attention was spread across the multiple tables, however, their focus on good service did not waver. Placing the AYCE orders was dependent on the server as they inputted requests into their tablet. The process seemed efficient as we did not have any missing items and all special requests were met. The only issue we had was keeping track of what we had already ordered and were waiting for. Some of my favorite items from our dinner included the: - Seared Salmon Nigiri - Pacific Roll - Lion King - Coconut Shrimp I was also thrilled to see they offered ice cream as part of the menu. They are pre packaged in small cups. Customers can choose from chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. We coupled this with their fried buns, and they were delicious! A great palette cleanser to end the meal! Sake made a strong first impression. We are definitely looking forward to returning again in the future to try more off of their menu.

The fish on some of the rolls was hard to discern because the sauce can be over-powering, but still they were good. The Avatar roll was tasty, and the Rainbow roll did not disappoint so we got two of them. This is a casual place with pretty fast service, but the wait staff could use a little more finesse. A staff member came to take away our empty tray. We also had two trays with one piece of sushi on each of them. He gestured to them and encouraged us to eat them so that he then could remove the trays. In another instance, a server brought out a roll and the end piece fell onto the table. Usually, a server will take it away, but she told us to pick it up and put it onto a plate. We went on a weekday around 6:00pm and it was not crowded at all, but by 7:00pm, tables were filling up fast. Parking is easy as there's a large lot.

Believe me, I've been to MANY other burrito places around and most all of them just give you a beans and rice burrito with a tiny bit of meat. I grabbed a burrito here and ate it inside the movie theater with the red salsa and lemon, and it was so good I ate the entire thing. For context, I'm pretty petite and I usually can't finish a full burrito--but this one? I couldn't stop. It was that good. Super flavorful, satisfying, and just hit the spot in a way I wasn't expecting. At first, I thought it was a little pricey, but once you get the burrito, it makes sense. It's dense, filling, and honestly a big burrito--you're getting your money's worth. I've already been recommending this place to my friends, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for genuinely good food. I'm excited to come back and try more items on the menu. So good. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the East Bay.
