Ordered (2) 15 piece prawn dinners and a 7 piece snapper dinner. The prawns were perfectly fried, and nice and spicy. They almost don't taste fried. Not greasy at all. The snapper were like nuggets as opposed to pieces - smaller than any snapper pieces I've ever had. They were also dry and a bit overcooked. Two sides were provided with each dinner. The sides are very small and our selection consisted of crinkle cut fries, macaroni salad, potato salad (x2), cole slaw, and yams (x2). The fries were good especially since they had to be reheated in the microwave. Both salads had a bit too much mayonnaise for me. Love the yams though! Our order costs $111. A debit card machine receipt was provided but there was no actual itemized store receipt. I wish there was because I prefer knowing the per item costs. I've been living in the area for over 10 years and never had one in there until I saw somebody on TikTok post about them so I tried their snapper fish sandwich is not your traditional fish sandwich they give you like four pieces of fish and two slices of bread, tartar sauce, ketchup, hot sauce, but the fish was fried just right light and crispy. It bothers me to leave this review because not only did I have a favorable impression of this restaurant and its owner prior to today, he actually accused me of trying to "blackmail" him of two fish sandwiches. I went in to pick up a to-go order. The lady at the counter was wearing a mask. The owner was out back of the restaurant arguing with a former employee, neither he nor the former employee were wearing a mask. He then proceeded to return to the fryer (without a mask) and when I said "Are you not wearing a mask?" (twice, loudly) his worker said "Yes, we wear masks!" Only then did he put his mask on. And he also never washed his hands after arguing outside with the maskless employee (without his mask). I got home and wasn't comfortable eating the food which he clearly is not taking the County nor State Covid 19 guidelines seriously. I called back and said that I would like a refund, otherwise I will call the health department. He said "you're blackmailing me." I said, "no I don't have time to leave my job again."
