We love this place.

Sadly "Nico" our boxer has passed on. I'm sure "Nera" our Giant Schnauzer will like this place also. Clean facility. Friendly professional staff.

Our Ruby is always happy to walk in to Whitestone Doghouse! The groomers are fantastic, look at the Christmas bows they put in her hair last week! Ruby has been boarded here also as well as daycare, she's always well-cared for. Thank you!

I have been meaning to write this for a while now. I have been coming here for dog training, grooming and daycare since late November 2020 and I have always been extremely happy. The owners, Mike and Chris and their staff are wonderful. As a new dog owner, I've had so many questions and they are always willing to answer and offer suggestions and advice. My puppy has been groomed by them and she always comes back looking and smelling great. I've signed up for training classes, but we haven't been successful since my puppy has high anxiety and is too excited to focus on the training. We will figure it out. All in all, I am extremely happy with Whitestone Doghouse and I highly recommend.

Ryku goes to Whitestone Doghouse for services and Mom (me) is happy.

Whitestone Doghouse is the best and I am very selective with services for my dog, Ryku. Mike and Chris and their team are professionals. Mike had trained my dog since when he was a puppy and now we need him again since he is older and bigger. Today, I took Ryku for cleaning, haircut, teeth and ear cleaning today and it is worth it and I highly recommend their service to you. I don't live near Whitestone but I am definitely coming here for full service. Thank you Mike and Chris.

My Jax looking good in his new groom from the Whitestone Doghouse.

Mike and Chris are the best groomers in the area. My dogs, Jax and Banjo are always well cared for and happy after they visit the Whitestone Doghouse.

First time and last time I will be using this boarding facility! I left my four year old French Bulldog with them for nine days and came to pick him up today. Before leaving the facility, I noticed his rear end and scrotum were swollen red and raw (pics below). I told them we did not leave him in this condition and when we called them with in the week, up until yesterday before picking him up they did not mention anything about this issue!! The caretaker had a dumb look on his face and said he probably laid in his urine and was probably licking himself. I couldn't believe my ears that the caretaker was confessing that they were neglecting my dog, even though they supposedly claimed that they clean the cages 2-3 times a day. I refrained from going back and forth with the caretaker, and immediately took my dog to the veterinarian since he was in pain. When the veterinarian examined my dog, the first question he asked was how sanitized is the boarding facility?? He concluded that my dog has an infection due to him sitting in his own urine/feces or laying in a cage that has not been properly cleaned. Never thought a place such as this would neglect a small dog that's been there for the first time. If you are a person who seriously loves their dog be cautious about this place!!

My Pomeranian puppy was definitely overdue for a haircut! The staff at Whitestone Doghouse was super accommodating and squeezed me in to their schedule last minute, which I really appreciated. It took longer than expected but that's because of the squeezing in, and because my Layla after getting bathed pooped everywhere so she had to be lightly rewashed (sorry again guys lol). The groomer herself came to update me with how much longer it would take and touched base with the type of cut I'd like -- I couldn't articulate what I wanted but I showed her a picture and she NAILED IT. And I'm happy the tail was kept super fluffy, it's my favorite. Even her underbelly where her lady parts are are super clean cut -- very impressive actually. I've gotten Layla cut by 3 other people and this is my favorite place thus far. She also managed to get a bow on her and it lasted longer than I've ever been able to keep a bow on her lol! They also sent me home with some dog food samples after I asked for some guidance on dog food and really appreciated that too. All in all, I believe me and Layla will be coming back for our next fur cut! Oh P.S. incase you were wondering about COVID protocol -- all staff wore masks and the place was super clean and hygienic!

Do you board dogs overnight? If so, how much per night and do you board bigger dogs like huskies?

We do! We have 8 foot kennels which are perfect for bigger dogs. We LOVE big dogs. Depending on your dog’s weight and spay/neuter status, one night of boarding would be…

I was helped by KK, who went above and beyond on providing excellent customer service to me and my Pomeranian, Bubbles. She texted me of the results despite it was their near closing time at 7pm, and if I was dissatisfied of the cut they would adjust. No other grooming salons would do that especially near their closing time. KK was very kind and communicated well throughout the whole process and even took the opportunity to assess my dog's skin condition and educated on a healthy diet for my dog's overall health outcome. My dog can get VERY aggressive when grooming towards us but Jaylin, Pet Home's groomer, was very professional and skillful! She delivered great results despite this obstacle. Pet Home worked as a team to calm my dog during the grooming process, which I was never made aware during all these years of grooming elsewhere. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place for their professionalism, kindness, attentiveness, and each member's above and beyond customer service. I really felt how genuine they cared for each customer's dogs. They even have a porch with food and water in front of their door for stray animals. This really reflects how much they genuinely care about animals. Bubbles a DEFINITELY be coming back!!!

I had used Doggy Be Good twice before for overnight boarding without any issues, so I felt…read morecomfortable leaving my dog there for a third stay. This time she stayed for seven days, and unfortunately the experience has left me extremely disappointed. Halfway through her stay, I called to check on her since the facility does not provide routine updates. I was told everything was great and that she was having fun running up and down the kennel runs. Nothing was mentioned about any injuries or health concerns. When I got there to pick her up, a man was hosing down the kennels. I said "good morning" to him 2 separate times and he looked at me and ignored me, which I found off-putting. When I picked up my dog, she seemed happy and energetic. I also arranged for grooming because she had been there for a week and I wanted her to come home clean. After bringing her home, I noticed that she was licking her paws much more aggressively than normal. Upon examining them, I discovered a cut on one of her front paw pads and what appeared to be blood spots around some of her nails. I contacted the boarding facility to report my concerns. I was told that the concrete kennel runs could have worn down her nails and irritated her paw pads from running. After the owner checked with the groomer, I was told that no injury had been reported during grooming. The facility later reviewed its cameras, noted that she had been running frequently during her stay, and suggested that this may have caused her paws to become sore, especially if she does not normally run on cement. They offered a coconut treatment, which I declined because I wanted to examine her paws more closely first. She goes on daily walks, but does not spend the majority of her day on cement, so I took the owner's assessment as possible. The following day, I discovered that one of her back paws was bleeding. Upon closer examination, there was blood and pus coming from INSIDE the paw pad. I took her to her veterinarian, who examined her injuries and advised that the cuts did not appear consistent with simple surface irritation from running on concrete. The veterinarian determined that she has moderate to severe pododermatitis and that the injuries were consistent with cuts. The vet mentioned that bacteria from licking the affected area likely contributed to the infection. She is now on antibiotics, pain meds and has an ecollar for 2 weeks so she does not irritate it any further. I included a pic of the now healing scar on her paw pad and her purple swollen back paw at the vet's office. What upsets me most is that I was never informed of any possible injury or health issue during her seven-day stay or when I picked her up, including after grooming. I had to discover the injuries myself, contact the facility, and seek veterinary care before understanding the extent of the problem. While I cannot say with certainty when or how the cuts occurred, I am very concerned that my dog came home with these injuries and that no one brought any potential issues to my attention. I am also uncomfortable with the checkout form requiring customers to sign that they have inspected their dog and that there are no health issues. When a business has cared for your pet for an entire week, a customer should reasonably expect to be informed if an injury or health concern is noticed, even soreness that they may experience from the cement. I do not believe a customer should have to discover a potentially serious injury at home without having received any warning that something may be wrong. My previous experiences with Doggy Be Good were positive, which makes this situation even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience has changed my level of trust in the facility. I no longer feel comfortable leaving my dog in their care, and I will not be returning. I hope they take this experience seriously and improve how potential injuries and health concerns are monitored, documented, and communicated to pet owners.
