Pork chop
Luzmila C.

We got the zucchini fritters for our app. Delicious and spicy. My boyfriend got the pork chop and I got the Ricotta gnocchi. Everything was delicious. The pork chop was cooked medium so it was juicy and flavorful. It came with fried potato cakes and air friend broccoli. I asked to add chicken to my dish and although they forgot, they quickly rectified it and got me some grilled chicken to add. The ambiance is cozy, the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Bread with dill pickle butter

This review is tough to write. I've heard so many people tell me how much they love this place...I just didn't. It's a cute place inside - exposed beam, warm decor and inviting space. A small bar as you enter that was full when we came in. We sat at a small table in the bar area. Everyone was very nice and our waitress was attentive enough - but she seemed a bit busy. But all was fine service wise. So....the food. It's weird. Like trying too hard to be different but just didn't hit the mark for me. I see bread on a menu and I get excited! So immediately I ordered the Parmesan bread with dill pickle butter. The bread was warm and I enjoyed it but the butter with dill pickle just didn't work for me. Lots of other things to me could have complemented the bread better. Then we order the lettuce wraps, they were ok. My friend ordered the duck and I tried it and we both really liked it! The vegetables were good! My sirloin....the steak itself was good despite being a tad overcooked for medium rare. Something on the plate had a curry flavor - it just didn't all go together well. Then the lemon ricotta cheesecake....we didn't taste any lemon, it was thick and weirdly dry for a cheesecake. It also had freeze dried something on top....we actually weren't sure what. Some bright spots - the food quality! You can tell that these are top notch high quality ingredients, and the cocktails! They were yummy! I just don't like the weird combos and what (to me) feels like being weird for the sake of being different versus just being good. Since I only come up here a few times a season I likely will go to our other favorites or try new spots.

Halibut special

I love this place! I often sit at the bar and just love chatting with Emma but also live Joanne and all the team. Tonight I had the halibut special that was nothing less than spectacular. The corn added snap, ratatouille and green beans and fresh summer tomatoes. Honestly out of this world!

Finding great food near Bartlett and North Conway isn't that easy. Luckily every time we've been to this place, the dinners have been wonderful. We always make a reservation, because the place is always busy. We started with the "Sautéed Fiddleheads; a day-of special; due to the chef picking some that were growing outside of his apartment. This was such a treat. The Parmesan Bread was ok. More like Texas Toast, found in the supermarket. My wife's Ricotta Basil Gnocchi with Scallops (+16) was a great way to keep out the chilly mountain air. My Ancho & Garlic Grilled Pork Chop was tender, and went well with the salty Garlic/Thyme Hash Browns That entree was huge, and we took about half of it home (Made A Good Snack) We passed on dessert, since we had them all before in past visits. Our server Emma, was very outgoing, and excited for meal choices. There are only about 4 or 5 great restaurants, in the area. This is one of them !

Blue fin tuna, crispy chokes, jicama, cannot remember the delicious green sauce

Incredible staff, especially bartenders Emma and Rich. delicious food, great service, we love Zach, Brandon, Joanna. Friendly staff and creative cocktails

Tuscan Chicken Cacciatore & Kids Alfredo w/ Shrimp

Best meal we had on our trip! We decided to give this place a try after driving by because of its close proximity to our Airbnb. The outside is unsuspecting and our hopes were not very high as it is fairly difficult to find decent food in the area. We were pleasantly surprised! We arrived 30 minutes before they opened (unaware they were closed) and were still met with kindness and helpful staff who made a reservation for us for when they opened. We sat outside which was perfect with a toddler. Staff were very friendly and service was great. We were skeptical of the menu as it is limited but all of our meals were excellent. We were even shocked by the quality of the kids Alfredo with shrimp. Everything tasted fresh. A little pricey but worth every penny. Will absolutely be back!

Was the ambiance nice? Yes Was the food good? Yes Were the portions decent? Yes Was the server attentive? Yes Was it overpriced for what you actually receive? Yes For the general location, I didn't think the 5 entrees they offer warranted $32-$47 price tag. While it was a nice meal, not sure it's worth a second visit.

Excellent food and service. Try to save this place for special events but the Monday Burger night looks like a hit!

Lately, the area is struggling with staff, so there are long waits and service has been slow. Tuckerman's was on top of it all. Yes, they are a pub, but offer a good menu to please most if not all people in your party. We went with salads and a pizza this evening and were not dissapointed. The staff were professional, and attententive, so that was a huge plus. They have a variety of beer options and a good size menu. Honestly, I have only been at night and never really looked around the hotel area and grounds during the day, but it is located in a quiet area, but easy to access the main road and all the sites.

We were concerned because of the holiday weekend; we would have to wait, but there was no waiting today. Just walked in. My friends who grew up here were surprised by the small crowd, as this was a popular hangout for them. Turns out the Red Parka has new owners, and it appears the neighbors /locals are not happy. My friend was hoping for a steak. Apparently, that was a hot ticket item in the past. The staff was very professional and attentive. And the menu was above average. Though there was not a crowd, the food did take a bit of time, but we were catching up with our friends and it was fine. When the food came out, most of our dishes arrived on silver trays, which seemed odd. My friend was a bit taken aback by the changes. I guess Red Parka was more of a nice dinner option for people with plates and napkins. One of our party had salmon, so it was served a bit more formally, and overall they enjoyed it. My drink was actually quite good, but I was not sure about the margherita chicken tacos. They have a lot of seating indoors and a patio outdoors. They also have a bar area and provide live music. So, worth a visit.

We ordered the mushroom ravioli, chicken Alfredo, steak tips entree, and kids pizza. Firstly they were out of all the dishes we basically came for, which is less of an issue but still annoying. Didn't have kids steak so we had to order the adult steak tips for a kid which we were told was a sirloin. It was a flat hangar steak. Apparently they didn't expect a kid to notice the difference but mine routinely eat filets, so it's a big difference and they wouldn't touch it. The rice and mashed potatoes that came with it weren't cooked through and were al dente at best. The kids pizza had a mixture of cheddar cheese and some unknown cheese that my kid also flagged as not being good or normal. Idk. The ravioli was the least offensive. The sauce was ok but the onions and bell pepper slices it came with were pretty chunky and not very presentable. The Alfredo was an abomination on Alfredo. I don't know what kind of cheese it was but it was curdled and it was terrible. No one was able to eat it. The bread that came with it was laughable. Asked for water and refills on kid drinks at least three times and they never came. Onion soup was ok. Service was the only saving grace as she was friendly and it's not her fault they were sold out but she could have let us know that certain main dishes are sold out. The kids steak and main asparagus/crab soup were out (didn't ask about the rest.
