I signed a quarterly service contract with White Knight in 2019, which as the name suggests included 4 service visits per year. Over the years, the technicians have always been friendly and respectful, and I have never experienced any pest or termite issues. After our latest service visit in July, I visited the customer portal to download the service report. I realized that after barely half of 2026 gone, this was already the third service visit. Each service visit is charged approximately $125. I looked further back at the visit history and realized that in 2 previous years they had visited the property 5 times per year, charging each visit. Possibly this is just incompetent scheduling, but if I were a cynical person, I might think this was deliberate fraud. I cannot prove either option. What I do know is that I have been charged for 2 visits that were not per contract ($250 value) and I was on track in 2026 to overpay another $125 outside the quarterly service agreement. I spoke to a customer service rep, who promised that a manager would call me to find a solution. That call was never received so I assume they have no desire to keep me as a customer. Two of their salespeople came to my home at approximately 8:15 p.m. despite the fact that we have two clearly posted No Soliciting signs, including one on the front door. After they repeatedly knocked and rang the doorbell, I answered and told them they did not belong on my property, needed to leave, and were not to come back. One of the salespeople responded sarcastically that he "couldn't read." After I went back inside, he rang my doorbell again before leaving. The next day, the salesperson returned to my home despite being told not to come back. He repeatedly knocked and rang the doorbell every few seconds, setting my dogs off again. They will not simply cancel service, but instead transfer you from department to department avoiding the actual cancellation request. We moved into a new neighborhood and was told by a sales rep that white knight had a contract with the builders. They said they were servicing the neighbors homes on the street as well. I explained to the sales rep what bug issues we were having with the home being new, such as, ants, spiders, hornets etc. He said that they would be able to take care of all of them plus more. This was also false. The pest control agent serviced our home and it had zero affect on the ants on the interior of the house; the hornets nest were still on the exterior of our home. We have small children and one of my daughters is highly allergic to ants, so this was unacceptable. I called the white knight pest control services to have them come back out for a second time and left a note to specifically spray for the ants on the interior of our home along with hornets on the exterior. My wife was at home when the service technician came to spray and reiterated exactly where we were having the bug issues. The technician ignored her and serviced the home as no one said anything. I was disappointed with the services and decided we would cancel services. I called to cancel services and , told I would have to pay $520 total to cancel services and that it would go on my credit in 30 days if I didn't pay the fee. This is absurd, due to the fact that they lied about being contracted with the builder and about how their services work. I was initially satisfied with White Knight's service until they informed me that termites had been found around our home. Following that, I was presented with a strong sales pitch for their "Termite Trap" system, which cost $1,000 to be paid over a year. Since we were on auto-pay, I didn't notice right away that an additional $100 per month was being billed for a "warranty" associated with these traps--something that was never clearly disclosed. Once I realized this, I decided to cancel all services, including the bi-monthly pest control, after the $1,000 was paid. This occurred in September, and I agreed to one final service at that time since it was within 30 days of cancellation. However, in November, I received a message from White Knight stating that they were scheduled to service my home again. When I called to clarify, I was told my account had not actually been canceled, and I was billed for another bi-monthly service. I declined that service "but had to pay for it" and confirmed once more that my account should be permanently closed. Everything! We called to start a regular service for our home. The technician arrived on time and sprayed inside and outside the house and put down traps. He said bug activity would increase because the chemicals would drive them out of hiding. It got WAY worse for a couple weeks. Before the next service (one month later), we unfortunately had some brown German cockroaches come in with some groceries. We called right away, the technician would not come out, because "it's only a little over a week until your next service". We saved the roaches we killed in our kitchen and showed them to the tech. The tach came on Tuesday. First, he tried to convince me "it's working. There are a lot fewer than before in the traps". I was very unhappy and complained that killing 4 or 5 roaches every time I turn the light on in my kitchen is not acceptable to me. He said the house needs a "roach flush" which would be another $250 above our monthly service and would require us vacating the house for several hours. I am handicapped and this is a burden for me. I declined and said I expect the service I am already paying for. He got angry and walked out, leaving old used traps with roaches in them on my kitchen counter where the trash can is less than 2 feet away. I called to speak to a manager. My elderly father, who does not speak Spanish, was pressured into agreeing to a service he did not fully understand. I operate a licensed childcare business from my home and was present all day. I even confirmed through my own cameras. We received a knock on the door at 8:15pm one evening and was told that White Knight pest control was going to give us a special rate and they take care of all of our pest needs. They spray 40 feet from the perimeter of the house all the way around and the inside. 30 minutes later I'm signing on his little iPad and he's gone. They came out the next day and sprayed around the perimeter of the house, not 40 feet like they said and they barely did the interior. They were done in 10 minutes or less. The very next day we got a huge Rain storm and pretty much wiped away everything they've sprayed. They said they could come out in between quarterly sprays all we have to do is give them a call. Hare-in-lies the problem. every time I call it'll ring and then it'll go to a busy signal and then it hangs up. I have yet to reach them. I called and spoke with Jay in sales to set up initial service and a monthly plan, he would call back in about 20 minutes with my scheduled service. 24 hours go by, I call the sales dept, Jose answers he tells me Jay will call back in about 10 minutes. I call back 1 hour later, Jose answers again, he sends me to Jay I wait on hold for 15 minutes and am sent to his voice mail. I called back for the 3rd time in 90 minutes, Jose in sales answers again and tells me to call back and press 2 for customer services. I call back the 4th time and go to customer service, Sandra answers and hangs up on me while I'm explaining to her my frustration. I wait 30 minutes hoping that someone would call me back, that didnt happen. I call back get a person in customer service who tells me that your company does not service my home. NOT ACCREDITED WITH BBB We have used White Knight for 6.5 years! We were pleased with service for the first half of the time we have used them, only due to the fact that we had the same technician every time and he actually cared. What we have never agreed with, nor liked, is that they would send a text stating they were coming in a few days andcwe had no way of reaching them to schedule a different time that actually worked for our schedule. If we tried to reach them, we could not get in touch with them. We would leave a message and never receive a reply. Then they started sending a different technician just about every time and they seemed to only want to do whatever they could quickly and get out of here. They did not come inside to check anything and only offered to very seldom. I suppose we had to request in advance, like we knew we might have a problem in advance. Our first tech would come inside that day, if we asked. They had installed these "so called" termite indicator/monitors around the perimeter of our home and one technician said they were for monitoring. My husband said, "well don't they need to be monitored?" To which he replied, "They really are nothing." Then my husband says, "So they are a scam?" LOL It so happened, we had our home remodeled 5 years into our service, and live termites were found on day one of demo. We called White Knight immediately to have them come out in an emergency basis. We knew we would have to pay for termite service. We figured since they were our pest control company, for 5 years at this point, that we would at the very least receive a call back within the hour. Crickets! We never heard from them! This is unacceptable and a very poor customer service business model. It doesn't matter if this is considered a different department. When a client calls for emergency service, any proper business would see to it that the call was touted to the right department immediately! If course, we had to call a completely different pest control service who shiwed up within the hour. Nevermind that we were not a client of theirs and probably did not deserve emergency service. We never did hear a peep from White Knight regarding our termite infestation in one wall. Our contractors could not continue with the remodel until this issue had been addressed and we were paying for their time. Another business practice that is unacceptable.... And all of this with their "Monitoring Stations." What a joke! We recently had an issue with carpet beetles and knew, without a doubt, that White Knight was not the company to address this. We had to switch to a different company in a hurry. White Knight tried to tell us that we needed to give a 30-day notice for termination, or we would be billed for the unused service, but we have not signed a contract that states we are liable for 6.5-7 years of service. In the beginning, we did sign one for 1 year of service but that has long since passed and we do not owe them anything. They are now charging late fees and have threatened collections. Keep in mind, we have excellent credit and will not allow any company with such poor service to mess with our credit rating. So, we have decided to be proactive and countersue (or sue) for duress and defamation, if they report to the credit reporting agencies that we have not paid for service, as this could affect our standing with the agencies. Anything they report, at this point, will not be a true reflection of the situation and we will not allow anyone to degrade what we have worked so hard to achieve. Surely, one treatment cost is not worth the hassle to them but it is to us. We will not succumb to their scare tactics, and writing off one treatment fee can be claimed as a loss on their taxes. So seriously, why harass a customer of 6.5 years? You Can't enforce a contract that no longer exists. They imply that they have thousands of 5-star reviews but we have yet to find even one. We will not be bullied into paying for something we never received. We paid for every service prior without any issues on our payments, like having insufficient funds. We were exemplary customers for an extended period of time even when we were less than pleased with the service. We would inform them when we were not pleased and hope that they would try to improve. It just never happened. I would be very careful and take all reviews into serious consideration before choosing this company. Our new tech stated they have customers who came from White Knight and have heard quite a few negative comments about them. As for us, I guess we may be forced to see them in court. Our credit rating is worth so much more than $125, and I refuse to pay for something I do not owe. To Shelby: Do not bother trying to explain away what you think we owe this company. BUYER BEWARE. Trying to cancel your service when you move is like trying to get rid of chewing gum off the bottom of a tennis shoe on a hot summer day...Just can't make it go away. They keep billing and billing and billing until you have to put a stop payment demand at your bank. read more

Just found out the hard way how difficult they make it to cancel your account. I tried calling and emailing only to receive a call many days later to tell me you have to give them a 30 day notice from when every they decide to schedule your appointment because you do not get to do that. I've attached the email with the short notice they sent of my following appointment. That means I would have had to let the pest control company know about me moving out before I even made the decision and before I even let my own landlord know that I was moving out. Really sad to have to say this about this company, but I do not recommend it. I cancelled this appointment in the email attached and they informed me that they went ahead and re-scheduled the appointment for 10/16/23. Even though I sent an email immediately upon receiving this notice - sent less than 24 hours before the appointment they set. It was received at 5:27 PM on 10/2. Anyways, I see they do not have a good score overall, so I should have known better. So much for being a loyal customer since 2018. read more
