I signed a quarterly service contract with White Knight in 2019, which as the name suggests included 4 service visits per year. Over the years, the technicians have always been friendly and respectful, and I have never experienced any pest or termite issues. After our latest service visit in July, I visited the customer portal to download the service report. I realized that after barely half of 2026 gone, this was already the third service visit. Each service visit is charged approximately $125. I looked further back at the visit history and realized that in 2 previous years they had visited the property 5 times per year, charging each visit. Possibly this is just incompetent scheduling, but if I were a cynical person, I might think this was deliberate fraud. I cannot prove either option. What I do know is that I have been charged for 2 visits that were not per contract ($250 value) and I was on track in 2026 to overpay another $125 outside the quarterly service agreement. I spoke to a customer service rep, who promised that a manager would call me to find a solution. That call was never received so I assume they have no desire to keep me as a customer. White Knight is absolutely terrible. Rude customer advocates, customer service representatives are ok but they don't do anything except transfer you. Canceling/Closing my account took MONTHS! They repeatedly make you call back saying "URGENT THAT YOU CALL" then keep you on hold for 30min. If you're not the account Holder then you can't do anything regarding the account even if you're on the account itself. On top of that they killed my pet rabbit last year August 8th who was an indoor pet and no they never serviced inside my home. Their machines are extremely loud which we EXPLICITLY said to NOT use, they ended up using and gave our sweet boy a heart attack. We called later that day after dealing with the passing of our beloved bun and all they said was "oh sorry, I guess the service technician didn't read the notes." And months later they utilized it machine again!! They also don't show up in uniform so it's hard to know who it is approaching your home, and if the back gate is locked and they can't access the back yard they leave but say they serviced the house whole area. If I didn't have security cameras then I would've been none the wiser but it's important to me that my entire yard is serviced since I have a toddler and dog who enjoy playing outside. I highly recommend NOT using this company. It's a waste of time and money and a headache that is never ending. As a first time homeowner we believed hiring a professional would be the smart and efficient option but a DIY Lowe's/Home Depot pest treatment can provide better pest protection with None of the hassle. read more

We've owned several homes throughout Texas and have never dealt with customer service this bad. Trying to cancel has been just as frustrating. I've been hung up on just trying to figure out the cancellation process, and they make it so difficult that I finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. No company should make it this hard to cancel. My advice? If a pest control company wants to lock you into a contract, RUN. Even when they're not doing the job you're paying them for and are impossible to communicate with, you're still expected to pay a cancellation fee. Make that make sense! Two of their salespeople came to my home at approximately 8:15 p.m. despite the fact that we have two clearly posted No Soliciting signs, including one on the front door. After they repeatedly knocked and rang the doorbell, I answered and told them they did not belong on my property, needed to leave, and were not to come back. One of the salespeople responded sarcastically that he "couldn't read." After I went back inside, he rang my doorbell again before leaving. The next day, the salesperson returned to my home despite being told not to come back. He repeatedly knocked and rang the doorbell every few seconds, setting my dogs off again. I have Ring footage of both incidents. I attempted to contact the company directly but was unable to speak with a manager. Ignoring clearly posted No Soliciting signs is unprofessional. I signed a quarterly service contract with White Knight in 2023. The technicians have been friendly and accommodating. I have no complaints whatsoever about the service. I am cutting back and decided to cancel my contract in September 2026. My last service was in May 2026. My balance was at zero when I made the last payment. After I cancelled my service in September, I was billed for the month of September and a 216.50 Manual Recurring Billing Service fee for a total of $259.80. When I spoke to customer service, I was told that whether I received service or not I need to make the September payment because I cancelled the service. Paying for services that was not rendered is crazy. Also, they did a review of my account and said that I payed for 31 invoices, out of 37 invoices. I still have no idea what these people are saying. I payed what was billed to me and now upon their review, I owe them money. I did not owe this money until I cancelled my contract. My account still reflects a zero balance until I cancelled the contract this month. I CAN'T STAND DISHONESTY. This was a money grab because I cancelled the contract. Service is decent, and price is not bad; however, trying to cancel is a nightmare. They will not simply cancel service, but instead transfer you from department to department avoiding the actual cancellation request. This is a high-pressure harassment technique that they have perfected, and I'd advise all to stay away from White Knight. Don't say I didn't warn you!! Oh, and when they tell you that you must speak to a "consumer advocate", that means a person that specializes in not allowing you to cancel - even if you have moved and no longer live at the address that is being serviced as is my situation!! They called from an 800 number and left a message - 1 attempt and 1 message, and then sent an email saying that they have tried "repetitively" to contact me about my desire to cancel and until they do, my account remains "paused". I was initially satisfied with White Knight's service until they informed me that termites had been found around our home. Following that, I was presented with a strong sales pitch for their "Termite Trap" system, which cost $1,000 to be paid over a year. Since we were on auto-pay, I didn't notice right away that an additional $100 per month was being billed for a "warranty" associated with these traps--something that was never clearly disclosed. Once I realized this, I decided to cancel all services, including the bi-monthly pest control, after the $1,000 was paid. This occurred in September, and I agreed to one final service at that time since it was within 30 days of cancellation. However, in November, I received a message from White Knight stating that they were scheduled to service my home again. When I called to clarify, I was told my account had not actually been canceled, and I was billed for another bi-monthly service. I declined that service "but had to pay for it" and confirmed once more that my account should be permanently closed. We moved into a new neighborhood and was told by a sales rep that white knight had a contract with the builders. They said they were servicing the neighbors homes on the street as well. I explained to the sales rep what bug issues we were having with the home being new, such as, ants, spiders, hornets etc. He said that they would be able to take care of all of them plus more. This was also false. The pest control agent serviced our home and it had zero affect on the ants on the interior of the house; the hornets nest were still on the exterior of our home. We have small children and one of my daughters is highly allergic to ants, so this was unacceptable. I called the white knight pest control services to have them come back out for a second time and left a note to specifically spray for the ants on the interior of our home along with hornets on the exterior. My wife was at home when the service technician came to spray and reiterated exactly where we were having the bug issues. The technician ignored her and serviced the home as no one said anything. I was disappointed with the services and decided we would cancel services. I called to cancel services and , told I would have to pay $520 total to cancel services and that it would go on my credit in 30 days if I didn't pay the fee. This is absurd, due to the fact that they lied about being contracted with the builder and about how their services work. Everything! We called to start a regular service for our home. The technician arrived on time and sprayed inside and outside the house and put down traps. He said bug activity would increase because the chemicals would drive them out of hiding. It got WAY worse for a couple weeks. Before the next service (one month later), we unfortunately had some brown German cockroaches come in with some groceries. We called right away, the technician would not come out, because "it's only a little over a week until your next service". We saved the roaches we killed in our kitchen and showed them to the tech. The tach came on Tuesday. First, he tried to convince me "it's working. There are a lot fewer than before in the traps". I was very unhappy and complained that killing 4 or 5 roaches every time I turn the light on in my kitchen is not acceptable to me. He said the house needs a "roach flush" which would be another $250 above our monthly service and would require us vacating the house for several hours. I am handicapped and this is a burden for me. I declined and said I expect the service I am already paying for. He got angry and walked out, leaving old used traps with roaches in them on my kitchen counter where the trash can is less than 2 feet away. I called to speak to a manager. I am writing this to warn others about their predatory and dishonest business practices. My elderly father, who does not speak Spanish, was pressured into agreeing to a service he did not fully understand. When we attempted to cancel the service, the company hit us with a "cancellation fee" of $300+--a charge that was never disclosed to us. When I contacted management to dispute this, they claimed the fee was part of terms explained to my father during a phone call. At 130$ per visit.... DONT DO IT.. Im 30 days into this contract and they have already charged me $300 bucks. I signed up w them as a precaution and 48 hours after their 1st vist all the insects became aggressive and entered the home. Had to have them come out again to fix the problem they created then they cam again 3 days later. 3 visit in 30 days and go charged for all of them... this story is much longer than this, but avoid theses guys like the plague. I operate a licensed childcare business from my home and was present all day. I even confirmed through my own cameras. When I contacted the company, I was repeatedly redirected between staff (Emma - Supervisor, Dominic, and Dorian). Instead of resolving the issue, they issued me a fraudulent invoice for services that never occurred. Only after pressing the matter did they process a refund. Despite my written requests, the company continues to insist my account is "active" unless I call, even though I have explicitly revoked authorization. They refuse to provide written cancellation confirmation, which is unacceptable and deceptive. I am filing formal complaints with the Texas Department of Agriculture, the Attorney General, the BBB, and the FTC. We received a knock on the door at 8:15pm one evening and was told that White Knight pest control was going to give us a special rate and they take care of all of our pest needs. They spray 40 feet from the perimeter of the house all the way around and the inside. 30 minutes later I'm signing on his little iPad and he's gone. They came out the next day and sprayed around the perimeter of the house, not 40 feet like they said and they barely did the interior. They were done in 10 minutes or less. The very next day we got a huge Rain storm and pretty much wiped away everything they've sprayed. They said they could come out in between quarterly sprays all we have to do is give them a call. Hare-in-lies the problem. every time I call it'll ring and then it'll go to a busy signal and then it hangs up. I have yet to reach them.
