Beware Do not choose this company. We have been stuck with their services for awhile now. We have given them chance after chance to do right and they refuse. They will not knock on your door to announce themselves or to ask if you would like them to treat the inside of your home. They will pull up, rush around the outside of your home and run to their vehicle as quickly as possible to avoid you. This causes a major problem because once the yard is treated, the pests will invade your house. We have had to call them multiple times to comeback and treat the inside after we have fought off bugs in the mean time. Service is decent, and price is not bad; however, trying to cancel is a nightmare. They will not simply cancel service, but instead transfer you from department to department avoiding the actual cancellation request. This is a high-pressure harassment technique that they have perfected, and I'd advise all to stay away from White Knight. Don't say I didn't warn you!! Oh, and when they tell you that you must speak to a "consumer advocate", that means a person that specializes in not allowing you to cancel - even if you have moved and no longer live at the address that is being serviced as is my situation!! They called from an 800 number and left a message - 1 attempt and 1 message, and then sent an email saying that they have tried "repetitively" to contact me about my desire to cancel and until they do, my account remains "paused". The 1st visit is discounted so they hook you into thinking they are doing a favor only to find out they created a problem that requires them to come out a 2nd time with in a week and bc the contract says they will come out a 2nd time after their initial visit to start the quarterly service when in actuality if I stayed on yhis schedule they will have come out 6 times in one year. At 130$ per visit.... DONT DO IT.. Im 30 days into this contract and they have already charged me $300 bucks. I signed up w them as a precaution and 48 hours after their 1st vist all the insects became aggressive and entered the home. Had to have them come out again to fix the problem they created then they cam again 3 days later. 3 visit in 30 days and go charged for all of them... this story is much longer than this, but avoid theses guys like the plague. I was initially satisfied with White Knight's service until they informed me that termites had been found around our home. Following that, I was presented with a strong sales pitch for their "Termite Trap" system, which cost $1,000 to be paid over a year. Since we were on auto-pay, I didn't notice right away that an additional $100 per month was being billed for a "warranty" associated with these traps--something that was never clearly disclosed. Once I realized this, I decided to cancel all services, including the bi-monthly pest control, after the $1,000 was paid. This occurred in September, and I agreed to one final service at that time since it was within 30 days of cancellation. However, in November, I received a message from White Knight stating that they were scheduled to service my home again. When I called to clarify, I was told my account had not actually been canceled, and I was billed for another bi-monthly service. I declined that service "but had to pay for it" and confirmed once more that my account should be permanently closed. In summary, my experience with White Knight was disappointing due to their sales & billing practices and poor account management. Everything! We called to start a regular service for our home. The technician arrived on time and sprayed inside and outside the house and put down traps. He said bug activity would increase because the chemicals would drive them out of hiding. It got WAY worse for a couple weeks. Before the next service (one month later), we unfortunately had some brown German cockroaches come in with some groceries. We called right away, the technician would not come out, because "it's only a little over a week until your next service". We saved the roaches we killed in our kitchen and showed them to the tech. The tach came on Tuesday. First, he tried to convince me "it's working. There are a lot fewer than before in the traps". I was very unhappy and complained that killing 4 or 5 roaches every time I turn the light on in my kitchen is not acceptable to me. He said the house needs a "roach flush" which would be another $250 above our monthly service and would require us vacating the house for several hours. I am handicapped and this is a burden for me. I declined and said I expect the service I am already paying for. He got angry and walked out, leaving old used traps with roaches in them on my kitchen counter where the trash can is less than 2 feet away. I called to speak to a manager. I am writing this to warn others about their predatory and dishonest business practices. My elderly father, who does not speak Spanish, was pressured into agreeing to a service he did not fully understand. When we attempted to cancel the service, the company hit us with a "cancellation fee" of $300+--a charge that was never disclosed to us. When I contacted management to dispute this, they claimed the fee was part of terms explained to my father during a phone call. They alleged they had a recording of a Spanish-speaking representative explaining these terms to him. I requested a copy of this recording immediately to verify their claim. I jist purchased a home in Hempstead, TX 77334. I called and spoke with Jay in sales to set up initial service and a monthly plan, he would call back in about 20 minutes with my scheduled service. 24 hours go by, I call the sales dept, Jose answers he tells me Jay will call back in about 10 minutes. I call back 1 hour later, Jose answers again, he sends me to Jay I wait on hold for 15 minutes and am sent to his voice mail. I called back for the 3rd time in 90 minutes, Jose in sales answers again and tells me to call back and press 2 for customer services. I call back the 4th time and go to customer service, Sandra answers and hangs up on me while I'm explaining to her my frustration. I wait 30 minutes hoping that someone would call me back, that didnt happen. I call back get a person in customer service who tells me that your company does not service my home. Do Not Trust This Company I signed a contract with White Knight Pest Control in August 2025. On September 30th, they claimed a technician completed service at my home, but no one ever came. I operate a licensed childcare business from my home and was present all day. I even confirmed through my own cameras. When I contacted the company, I was repeatedly redirected between staff (Emma - Supervisor, Dominic, and Dorian). Instead of resolving the issue, they issued me a fraudulent invoice for services that never occurred. Only after pressing the matter did they process a refund. Despite my written requests, the company continues to insist my account is "active" unless I call, even though I have explicitly revoked authorization. They refuse to provide written cancellation confirmation, which is unacceptable and deceptive. I am filing formal complaints with the Texas Department of Agriculture, the Attorney General, the BBB, and the FTC. We received a knock on the door at 8:15pm one evening and was told that White Knight pest control was going to give us a special rate and they take care of all of our pest needs. They spray 40 feet from the perimeter of the house all the way around and the inside. 30 minutes later I'm signing on his little iPad and he's gone. They came out the next day and sprayed around the perimeter of the house, not 40 feet like they said and they barely did the interior. They were done in 10 minutes or less. The very next day we got a huge Rain storm and pretty much wiped away everything they've sprayed. They said they could come out in between quarterly sprays all we have to do is give them a call. Hare-in-lies the problem. every time I call it'll ring and then it'll go to a busy signal and then it hangs up. I have yet to reach them. We were pleased with service for the first half of the time we have used them, only due to the fact that we had the same technician every time and he actually cared. What we have never agreed with, nor liked, is that they would send a text stating they were coming in a few days andcwe had no way of reaching them to schedule a different time that actually worked for our schedule. If we tried to reach them, we could not get in touch with them. We would leave a message and never receive a reply. Then they started sending a different technician just about every time and they seemed to only want to do whatever they could quickly and get out of here. They did not come inside to check anything and only offered to very seldom. I suppose we had to request in advance, like we knew we might have a problem in advance. Our first tech would come inside that day, if we asked. They had installed these "so called" termite indicator/monitors around the perimeter of our home and one technician said they were for monitoring. My husband said, "well don't they need to be monitored?" To which he replied, "They really are nothing." Then my husband says, "So they are a scam?" LOL It so happened, we had our home remodeled 5 years into our service, and live termites were found on day one of demo. We called White Knight immediately to have them come out in an emergency basis. We knew we would have to pay for termite service. We figured since they were our pest control company, for 5 years at this point, that we would at the very least receive a call back within the hour. Crickets! We never heard from them! This is unacceptable and a very poor customer service business model. It doesn't matter if this is considered a different department. When a client calls for emergency service, any proper business would see to it that the call was touted to the right department immediately! If course, we had to call a completely different pest control service who shiwed up within the hour. Nevermind that we were not a client of theirs and probably did not deserve emergency service. We never did hear a peep from White Knight regarding our termite infestation in one wall. Our contractors could not continue with the remodel until this issue had been addressed and we were paying for their time. Another business practice that is unacceptable.... And all of this with their "Monitoring Stations." What a joke! We recently had an issue with carpet beetles and knew, without a doubt, that White Knight was not the company to address this. We had to switch to a different company in a hurry. White Knight tried to tell us that we needed to give a 30-day notice for termination, or we would be billed for the unused service, but we have not signed a contract that states we are liable for 6.5-7 years of service. In the beginning, we did sign one for 1 year of service but that has long since passed and we do not owe them anything. They are now charging late fees and have threatened collections. Keep in mind, we have excellent credit and will not allow any company with such poor service to mess with our credit rating. So, we have decided to be proactive and countersue (or sue) for duress and defamation, if they report to the credit reporting agencies that we have not paid for service, as this could affect our standing with the agencies. Anything they report, at this point, will not be a true reflection of the situation and we will not allow anyone to degrade what we have worked so hard to achieve. Surely, one treatment cost is not worth the hassle to them but it is to us. We will not succumb to their scare tactics, and writing off one treatment fee can be claimed as a loss on their taxes. So seriously, why harass a customer of 6.5 years? You Can't enforce a contract that no longer exists. They imply that they have thousands of 5-star reviews but we have yet to find even one. We will not be bullied into paying for something we never received. We paid for every service prior without any issues on our payments, like having insufficient funds. We were exemplary customers for an extended period of time even when we were less than pleased with the service. We would inform them when we were not pleased and hope that they would try to improve. It just never happened. I would be very careful and take all reviews into serious consideration before choosing this company. Our new tech stated they have customers who came from White Knight and have heard quite a few negative comments about them. As for us, I guess we may be forced to see them in court. I signed a 1 year contract in May 2025. The tech came out to my home however due to just moving in; he was unable to do a complete service. I requested to be notified prior to arrival moving forward. The second visit, tech showed up without notice and claimed my gate was locked. I have never had a lock on the gate. He did not service my property however I was charged for it. I contacted the office and requested to speak to a manager, in which I have done about 6-7 times and have NEVER received a call back. Next service call was completed. The tech (Marvin) came in and repeatedly asked for food and money to take care of his homeless family. Stated that I had several rooms upstairs that were empty; maybe he and his family could stay with me for awhile. Then went on to say that his boss asked him to ask his customers for a tip. I contacted his supervisor and demanded that Marvin not be allowed to return to my property. We reviewed the service and he acknowledged that Marvin used the wrong chemicals on my property and that he would be willing to come back out and redo the service at no charge. The next month, guess who shows up again?? Marvin. I asked him to leave immediately and called his supervisor. He apologized and sent another tech out. Again, I called the office and asked to speak to a manager. No reply. Earlier this week, I spoke with the office again. They requested to schedule my final service with them. I let them know that I was not ready and that I was still waiting to hear from a manager, 8 mths later. Today I get a notice that a tech will be at my house tomorrow for the final service. VERY POOR customer service, communication and follow up. I have been in management for 25+ years understand staffing challenges, financial challenges and customer service. There has been no attempt to correct this situation and now after speaking with several of my neighbors, this seems to be a common practice with this company. Just found out the hard way how difficult they make it to cancel your account. I tried calling and emailing only to receive a call many days later to tell me you have to give them a 30 day notice from when every they decide to schedule your appointment because you do not get to do that. I've attached the email with the short notice they sent of my following appointment. That means I would have had to let the pest control company know about me moving out before I even made the decision and before I even let my own landlord know that I was moving out. Really sad to have to say this about this company, but I do not recommend it. Don't sign up with this company for pest control services. We live in a newer subdivision (renters). When we initially moved in, we were having some spider issues. We had self-treated the home and yard. However, a salesperson with White Knight came to our door offering their services. We let them know that we are renters and that we wouldn't be able to fulfil a year's contract because we planned to buy a home prior to the end of one year. The salesperson told me that would not be an issue because when we closed on our new home that they would cancel our contract without penalty or we could request to transfer our services. The ability to cancel is the only reason that we agreed to sign up. Now, we are getting ready to close on our new home. I sent White Knight an e-mail asking to cancel our services. I also attached a copy of our purchase contract as proof of our intention to move. No response all week. I called this morning and was informed that if I want to cancel that I have to pay $490.00. I brought up the conversation with the salesperson and the option to cancel due to moving. The salesperson lied and White Knight wants $490.00 to cancel or I can choose to bring them to my new residence for no fee and finish out my contract. So, I am essentially forced to pay $490. or continue to do business with a company who uses deceptive practices to obtain sales contracts. I will never recommend this company to anyone. The rep detailed the service and had me sign a contract, but never disclosed that I was committing to a full one-year agreement. When I later tried to cancel, I was told that canceling would result in a $500 fee, could affect my credit, and that I was legally bound until August. I've called multiple times over the last two months asking to speak to a supervisor, but I am either placed on endless hold or promised a callback that never happens. To make matters worse, they came to service my home today without notifying me in advance, despite me scheduling the appointment weeks ago for an indoor service (which they ignored). I'm still being charged $40 a month for services I didn't agree to under these conditions, and they refuse to let me out of the contract. They are scammers! I tried to cancel my service with them and they gave me some bullshit excuse as to why I owe them $173 to cancel my service and I've been with them for 2 years. One reason I was told because I am canceling less than 30 days and no where in the contract says that I will be charged $80 if I cancel less than 30 days. Another reason was I was paying another 80 for my May service when I paid my first initial payment for the first service back in July of 2023. I only had a 12 month contract. The so called managers are so freaking rude and have no sense of how customer service work or how to talk to their customers but they are so called managers. I pay bi-monthly and I was told me paying my June and July bill was for April but at first said May. Like what, that makes no sense. SCAMMERS!!! I asked for a wasp removal service and the scammed me into signing up for a 12 month contract!!! Once I realized I tried to cancel and they informed me that I would have to pay a $200 cancellation fee!! Went back and forth for months with text messages proving the technician I signed up with would cancel the membership for me, only to have them put me in collections!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was lied to when I signed up. I was told that I would not be charged to cancel that I just had to say yes to the video but he would make sure I didn't get charged. I told him I would have to cancel early because I was moving. He told me over and over the cancelation fees would be waived if I would sign up that day. I did so with that understanding and now the company is charging me claiming they can't help it he lied. To top it off I never saw any difference in the amount of bugs in my yard in fact I got hornet's in the yard while it was being treated. I had a good experience with them when we started, in that the bi-monthly pest control treatments were done as promised, and on-time. My big issue is that the problems started when I made the mistake of getting a termite inspection done. Without writing a novel about it, let me say the whole thing was a poor customer experience; with bait-and-switching on prices and a lack of transparency. Absolute worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I was literally lied to and scammed out of a carpenter ant retreat for the exact same window. I had made multiple calls, face to face conversations with techs and even responded to texts begging to have someone come back out. They ignored me up until today, when I'm obviously livid over the lack of service at this point! The techs who came out for the ants (and techs afterwards) told me that within 6 months it was covered, WRONG!! Would have been nice to know during one of my many calls or inquiries that it was only one month, and I was lied to multiple times. The kicker is, for all of my inconvenience, frustration and literally being IGNORED by the company, I get a $15 credit? WHITE KNIGHT IS A JOKE! Edited to add that this has been an ongoing issue for months that I have either been flat out ignored or given the run around. It was always some vague explanation with no definite resolution "We put it in the notes" "Oh, we let them know, they'll reach out to you". All BULL.
