    DOUBLE CHEESE SLIDER CAL 300-330
    Kashara B.

Whew ! This is a staple. I was born in Chicago so everytime we come from Texas it's a must. Every White Castle is good. You just have to ask for it fresh. If it's soggy, ask them to remake it. My order is 2 double cheese burgers with no pickles. 1 order of chicken rings and onion rings. This is the best fast food hands down! They will never disappoint!! Follow me on Instagram and tik toc @kasharabell for more foodie and travel content !

I just ordered food. I took the time out to type no cheese and no meat. You will never guess what I got on my food.... you got that folks. Cheese and meat! There goes 30$ wasted and a girl still starving!

I feel bad for the folks that work here, there's only three people and the line is ridiculous - 45 minutes for 12 sliders and three fries

Terrible service. Whoever our order taker was, was in a terrible mood. Very rude would not recommend.

Worse place ever. Guy on the speaker kept huffing when I kept ordering. They made me wait 15 mins and they got my order wrong.

The slider is a classic but since I like a spicy kick, I add pepper jack cheese over it.

My mother ordered food today (Mother's Day 5/10/26/) and we're not pleased with the service we…read morereceived today. My mom orders from here often for family events and work events, however, today they lost our order ticket so our 2pm order wasn't made until we went to pick it up, and we didn't get it until 3pm. We handled that with grace and didn't complain. When they finally got the food to us and put it in the trunk, they spilled the juice from the Italian beef tray in the trunk. Which again, we were very calm and didn't complain about it. When the food got to the house and we started to unpack, we realized that we didn't get the steak sandwich tray we ordered, but a tray of mixed sandwiches. My mother called the restaurant to see how we can fix this, since we didn't need a tray of mixed sandwiches when we ordered the Italian beef and chicken Vesuvio separately as it was. The manager, Ali, basically called my mom a liar, said they checked the trays and we got the correct one. This is clearly not the case. She had horrible customer service skills and even refused to refund the difference for the price for the mixed sandwich trays and steak sandwich trays. As long-time customers we expected better. I've attached screenshots of the receipt and the food we receive. Edit: we spoke to the manager Kara today She was apologetic and made everything right for us.

It was the perfect size for us to share. We ordered it with sweet peppers and cheese. My only complaint about it would be the cheese. It wasn't melted and did not really seem to belong. I will 100% will be back, but I'll leave the cheese off. Also, the fact that they have a large dedicated parking lot across the street is a huge plus. No parking headaches here.

I've spent a lot of time in Philadelphia and have had many cheesesteaks, so I'm well versed on what…read morea good Philly Cheesesteak should taste like. The quality of the steak and the hoagie roll (has to be fresh and from Philadelphia) being of utmost importance. The first time I had a Charley's cheesesteak (Rosemont Outlet mall location), was due to a recommendation from someone. I'm always hesitant about getting cheesesteaks from random places, because they're just not good. I got the chicken cheesesteak and to my surprise, it was tasty. The chicken was seasoned, bread was good and the fries were crispy. On this particular occasion, I visited the Charley's located on 47th street, in the Lake Park Plaza Shopping Center. This is a strip mall location with other eateries and a laundromat. While there's parking, it can sometimes get crowded, and is always filled with cars. Upon entering, there are a few tables, but the space really isn't setup for dining in . On this occasion I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, fries and a peach lemonade. I do suggest ordering on the mobile app to save time. The mobile app also offers coupons and points earned for purchases made. (A few weeks prior I had a free drink on my account for my birthday. I went in store to order, and had to go back and forth with the counter attendant about if the drink was for a lemonade or a milk shake, as I wanted a milk shake. It was for both, but I wanted a milk shake. All of this would've been avoided if I had ordered online. I hate going back and forth with people, which is why I prefer ordering fast food online- so I don't have to deal with people- but I digress). I had ordered online so didn't have much interaction with the counter attendants, on this occasion. However, my interaction with them was pleasant. The cheesesteaks are pretty good, nice serving size with portions that leave you full. I've also ordered boneless chicken wings in the past, and they, too, were tasty. My favorite cheesesteak on the planet is Max's in North Philadelphia. But when in Chicago, Charley's is my go to for a cheesesteak in the city, for the meantime.

We split the large old School Philly sandwich and a special Kimchi version. I like that they change it up with different flavors. We didn't get any sides or fries with it. The bread is nicely seasoned and toasty, not hard, and the meat and cheese were tasty. We did carryout, they do not have much in the way of dine in. I saw some juices and ice cream, which I will def try when it's warmer out. The staff was professional and friendly. I think there is a tv in there, as it is a 10 or so minute wait for each order. They are in a mini mall so one could wander around, but next time I will order online.

I am always ready to visit Portillo's, so I keep my birthday gift card that was given to me handy. This location's brick design reminds me a lot of the Niles, Illinois, restaurant where I had my very first Portillo's experience--and little did I know it would become one of my favorite places to eat in the city. Before I even entered the drive-thru, I already knew I wanted to order the plant-based garden dog. As a vegetarian, it makes me happy that Portillo's offers this item, which is a hot dog made with 100% plant-based protein and crafted for them by Field Roast. I have ordered it many times, and even purchased it at Whole Foods. It looks and tastes just like a real hot dog! After a very short wait in the drive-thru, I was headed toward the main window when an employee approached me with my order, and I was well on my way. A shout-out to the employees taking orders and working within the drive-thru area, who make the ordering process go so smoothly while at the same time enduring hot or cold temperatures. Thank you very much for your patience during my ordering experience; it is highly appreciated! Okay, the garden dog smelled wonderful after I unwrapped it to take pictures to share on Yelp. No matter how many garden dogs I have, my mouth still waters before I take my first bite. With each bite of this plant-based garden dog, poppy seeds fell from the bun! Anytime I eat one, my goal is to finish it without letting any toppings fall out--a skill I have mastered since it is a favorite of mine. Here is a tip! You must grip it from the top and open your mouth wide as you take a bite, or else you will get toppings everywhere, teehee. It is never a disappointment, no matter which location I order it from, whether it be Portillo's in Forest Park, Niles, Skokie, on Addison, or now Canal and Taylor! Need I say that I enjoyed my meal, as I clearly indicated in this review of this Portillo's on Canal and Taylor? Now that we are no longer strangers, I will more than likely visit again whenever I am in the area--most likely after leaving the Chicago Central Carrier Annex Post Office. ~ Stay fiercely focused. ~ Thomas G

Despite being busy, my order was quickly filled, and I was on my way. Worth noting, there was ample parking. I always enjoy seeing how Portillo's locations are decorated.
