I ended up stopping here on the way to a friend's and I am so glad I did! Service: 4/5 They were quick and made sure we enjoyed our food! Most people order to-go but I decided to sit in and eat which I highly recommend if it's pretty empty. The place is really small but the service was spectacular and the countertop was clean. My only issue was the cashier thought It was funny that I called it the Pastor. More in a condescending way but I was too hungry to even entertain it lol Food: 5/5 I ordered the taco Al Pastor. I don't know what to say. I had the steak tacos with everything. And I was not wowed. In my own opinion I found that they were to salty. Plus it didn't have the taste I was expecting. And for the rice and beans, the rice was actually pretty good. The beans, just ok in my book. This is a small place. So the seating inside is not the best. It's the true definition of a fast food joint. (Not meant for dining in, just grab and go.) Found it kinda funny, when I finished my order. I turned around and waited for my food. I noticed a letter from the city of Chicago stating you could get sick from uncooked meat / food. And after eating there found myself burping and had to use the restroom facilities within the hour. I will not say the food was not cooked. But just didn't sit right with me I guess. You make your own opinion. But I will not be returning. Nor would I recommend base on my experience. Big Al's is my go to on Grubhub. Their tacos Al Pastor are my favorite thing to order. I also love their philly cheesesteak sandwich, and my bf loves their gyro burger. Their Oreo shake is also very good. The only thing I'll change in my next order, is that I'll order salsa. I'm not sure if tacos and their other mexican food already come with salsa or if I have to order it because sometimes they send some, sometimes they don't. read more

This is a legit fastfood burger joint. Everything is made after you order, so its all warm. You can tell they kinda cut corners with ingredients, but if you want food its your best bet over McDonalds. Burgers and sandwiches come with fries. Stopped by for some late night eats, ordered a chicken burrito which didn't taste very good at all. The flour tortilla tasted very processed, the chicken tasted frozen and processed. Anyone who frequents fast food knows that none of this should be a surprise but the appeal of fast food is that something should make up for the fact that you know it's bad for you (like the taste, the place, etc.). This place has everything you need! Best of both worlds! Soups are delicious, don't forget to include one! They also stay super hot for quite a while... I don't know about hot dogs but the one I had seemed like it was sitting in the boiling water for a long time. place is very tight. My Italian beef was full of veggies could of used a little more Mayo and seasoning but it was good. The mozzarella sticks were cheesy and fried nice. Do not come here! Placed an order over and the phone cashier was very arrogant, unprofessional, ignorant, she didn't know the menu. When I got the order delivered to the office I didn't get my drinks again. I try giving this establishment a second try first time I order didn't get my drinks, pay about 3.50 the drinks and just left it alone thinking they were having a bad day or whatever. This place is awesome! Food is great, real deal chicago. The polish is real maxwell, and the burgers are delicious, same price as fast food, but better quality and flavor, and the portion is big too. The best part is that everything comes with fries! Freshly made too. I recommend coming here, it definitely beats the tastee freeze that used to be here by a longshot! read more

I've ordered several times from this place and not one complaint from me yet. Everytime I have gotten something different so I don't get stuck on one thing. Recently I got the steak fries minus the cheese which I don't like and O couldn't stop eating them. Personally I would of prefer the fries to be thicker like before but I still enjoyed them regardless. My husband likes the torta al pastor. My fave has been the burger... After a few months break, things seem to be moving a lot smoother here. I'm glad to say my previous issues have been resolved and the service is much, much better here than it used to be. Not worth the hassle. They mess up our order every time and the dumb ass girl at the counter is either deaf or dumb. She was too busy flirting with the damn guys from the bar that were in there that she couldn't even take my order right. The cheese fries are very good and as long as you're willing to wait the milkshakes are too. The staff is friendly and bilingual which helps if you don't speak Spanish.
