    Cajun Chicken Salad
    Jeruby M.

I ordered to-go. Very flavorful salad. It had cajun chicken, cucumbers, and bell peppers which was new to me ive never had bell peppers in my salad, but now im intrigued! I wish I had more lettuce though, there were more cucumbers than lettuce.

My review is based on catering order. 5 stars for this place. The food, the price and the taste is definitely amazing. What I love about this place is that they open early in the morning.

Not sure if this was the breaded steak or meatballs. Will say their giardiniera is amazing.

Everything that I've had here has been delectable. The portion size for the price is a little small for me as a big eater, but I appreciate the quality of the food. And a lot of it actually is a decent portion. The staff is always very nice and I really enjoyed my one and only time eating there. Their energy was really good in person also. Sometimes get kind of busy at lunch time during the day and they're pretty quick on the phone but they always get things right and again, they're always friendly when I show up at the place. I appreciate this neighborhood gem.

Billy boy, fries, side of chipotle mayo sauce

Best hidden gem in Bridgeport. My go to Sammy's are the Cajun chicken, Billy boy, and the Buffalo Billy boy. Also, don't forget to always order a side of mozzerella sticks! The portion size is great and they have very fair prices. The staff is always so kind, and orders go out FAST! They sell a large variety of foods, so there is literally something for everyone. There are tables to dine in, a small patio area outside, or take it home to enjoy!

Delicious and good portions! I ordered the Cajun Chicken sandwich, and it was huge. The chicken breast are tender and well marinated. It comes with fries, and the fries are super crispy ! Definitely a place to try if you're in the area.

While visiting Chicago with a buddy, Manny's Cafeteria and Delicatessen was one of those places we…read moreknew we had to try. After hearing so much about it over the years, I'm happy to say it mostly lived up to the hype. The first thing that stood out was the atmosphere. Manny's has that classic old school cafeteria feel that makes it seem like it's been serving the community for generations. There's a certain charm to it that you just can't recreate, and it made the entire experience feel authentically Chicago. I ordered the famous pastrami sandwich, and the meat absolutely lived up to its reputation. It was tender, flavorful, generously portioned, and piled high enough that every bite was packed with pastrami. It's easy to see why so many people recommend it. The staff also deserve a shoutout. Even though it was my first visit, everyone was welcoming, friendly, and happy to answer questions, making it easy to feel right at home. The only thing keeping this from being a five star experience was the bread. The rye itself was pretty average, and it wasn't toasted or prepared in any special way. With such incredible corned beef, I couldn't help but wish the bread had received the same level of attention because it would have taken the sandwich to another level. Even with that minor critique, Manny's is absolutely worth visiting if you're in Chicago. It's one of those classic spots that has earned its reputation, and I'd gladly stop in again the next time I'm in town.

Two of us shared a half pound pastrami on rye with a side of hash browns. The rye was pretty decent but the pastrami was sliced far too thick and the meat was lean. That is not a good thing when it comes to pastrami and I attribute the lean meat to the deli catering to its hipster-ish audience. Although the flavor was decent, the sandwich was dry and difficult to eat. We disagreed on the generously sized pickle. One of us thought the flavor was just right, the other not so much. We both agreed on the hash browns. It's a no-go. They were well fried but entirely unseasoned. I understand the lack of schmaltz but there was no onion or salt or anything else. Waffle House has nothing to worry about. (IYKYK) Service was fast and polite. The space is tiny, but it works. Prices are okay for this area but if you want traditional deli in Chicago, go to Manny's.

We were quoted a time of 20 minutes out. We arrived a little early and the gal at the counter told us it would be a few minutes. She called out when ready and sat at one of the tables in the front to eat. Each sub had a decent amount of filling. While we each offered the smallest subs, we were plenty full when we left. We enjoyed our subs and now have a place to add to our list for a new quick lunch. For the store itself, they have some odds and ends but many Italian staples. As I parked this large Chevy Suburban parked in front of me. As I sat in the car & saw one person after another unloaded & head towards Potbelly. In all I counted 8 guys unloading from this Suburban. & head to Potbelly. I'm like oh hell no. That's when I saw CONTE DI SAVOIA @ 1438 W Taylor Street on the north side of Taylor Street. I decided to cross over & check out this old world Italian Deli. Conti Di Savoia is small Italian grocery store w/an Italian deli that has w/outstanding & inexpensive sandwiches. When I went in there was a line of people waiting @ the deli counter waiting to place their order. I must have looked confused because the owner directed me & told the line started on the other side towards the back of the store. What I found was an awesome of fresh handmade sandwiches for a very reasonable price. I ordered an 8" pastrami w/mozzarella cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, red onions, mayo, & Italian oil drizzled. What I got was an awesome inexpensive sandwich loaded with/fresh ingredients. Absolutely delicious. After I got my sandwich the owner (I introduced myself (I think his name was Mike) rang up the sandwich. He said they have been there for 35 years. There's also a small dining area in the front of the store where I sat & devoured my sandwich. Like I said this is small Italian store w/a nice selection of products like meats, cheeses, pastas, wine, olive & deli items. I throughly enjoyed finding Conte Di Savoia. The pastrami sandwich was awesome w/a generous portion of pastrami & toppings for a reasonable price. I'm the type of person who who loves finding new places to eat. Most times unless I find great food & reasonable prices I won't go back but I feel like I found a real gem W/Conti Di Savoia. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN.

It came as a great recommendation! We didn't have it for a while since we live the low-carb life but were thrilled to learn they do a "sub in a tub". I love their tuna salad/sub. I like that they don't have onions at the deli so it doesn't overpower everything else. My husband typically loves the club. They rolled a generous amount into a container and I used scissors to quickly and easily cut it. It was a perfect lunch and I have enough for another tomorrow! For $8, or $11 for a generous tuna scoop, you can't beat it. Staff is also quick and friendly at the deli, as well as checkout.
