Recently reopened and remodeled... Poor timing poor service ... long lines .. most importantly bad food too !!!

They remodeled and still can't get drive thru right I was first car on left waiting a second car comes behind me and the one to right they take the right car order first- then with All that staff inside and still unorganized and it takes 15 mns from ordering to get our food- Nuggets were burned, fries over salted and the big Mac had one dot of sauce. The only thing that was good was the coke. My daughter's frozen Fanta wasn't mixed either. Why do I have to ask for condiments AND napkins. read more

The $5 meal deal is a C tier. it's alright but the McChicken is Ok but the bottom bun on the top is burnt a little. The fries are hot as a volcano I burned my mouth and taking a sip of my coke, the coke tastes so bad, it tastes like medicine even the straw can't help it and I moved to the Chicken McNuggets and It wasn't bad but I saw something strange inside of my Chicken McNugget, a little burn mark there, and that's cool but still C tier. read more

If I could give them a negative rating I would! This unfortunately is my neighborhood location and the worse. I order once in a while via Uber eats maybe once every few months and every time they mess up my order. Forget to put food in the bag or get the order wrong all together. The management and staff seem to have difficulty in performing the job they have and are extremely unprofessional and give a bad name to this establishment. I seriously hope that the owner of this particular franchised store reads these bad reviews as I am not the only one who has had this exact same issue. read more

I recently worked here and it was an amazing experience. I learned how to grill burgers and make fries. Learning this has allowed me to receive multiple offers from other restaurants as head chef. I want to thank this McDonald for everything it has done for me. I recommend this place. read more

This place is the Mexican equivalent of the 1940s film Casablanca: people who are obviously of Mexican descent just hanging out here, drinking their dollar coffees and sitting in their chosen spots for as long as the dollar coffee can keep them sitting down, and talking in Spanish mostly about this and that and the other. Every now and then someone will walk through and start begging for change. Every now and then well-dressed Jehovah's Witnesses will show up and leave their literature on certain tables during the time that they are here and will take up the entire large center table's space, forcing anyone who sits there to interact with them. This is no joke, this is NOT a racist rant or religious dig, there are people who will sit here for hours! It's really disappointing that the management here or the regional manager at McDonald's tolerate the endless stream of people sitting around in their store ALL DAY LONG, doing absolutely nothing all day except sipping on dollar drinks, wasting space, driving away entire families and havw no other function but to breathe, talk, and try to stay warm in the winter or cold in the summer. Since I have been coming here for a few years now that's all that you see, and if come back here 2 hours later the same people will still be sitting in the same spots, talking about absolutely nothing in Spanish and doing nothing but wasting time. There are barely any seats for paying customers who want to just sit and eat their food quickly or with their families, but if this is the way McDonald's runs their restaurant here in the Brighton Park then I guess I'll have to find someplace else to eat! P.S. - the food is simple McDonald's fare, but its a quick fast food place to eat - if you can find a spot to sit. (There's absolutely no way to give this place 0 stars at all whatsoever, but my best advice to you is this: avoid this place at all costs unless you want someone to walk up and try to sell you tamales! I've have stopped at this location more than three times, and only because it's on my way home and the closest to me but they are always either "closed and getting ready for breakfast", "our system is doing a software update", and "we are only accepting cash at the moment". If I could, I would give this Mcdonald's a 0/5. This has nothing to do with the food quality of McDonald's. It is because of their dumb decision to put balloons by the cashiers. I am not one to really dawdle on McDonalds experiences, but I have to. They did recently remodel the place, and I can appreciate that. The service though is more what I am going to review. Every time I go there, I get great service and always with a smile. The guys and girls are really friendly and polite. Manners to me means a whole lot and will decide sometimes if I come back to an establishment. I for one do like the fact that they will recommend something if your "not sure" and that really doesn't happen in fast food. The girls more so are super friendly at the drive thru with their smiles and "good morning how are you sir" shpleel. Awesome manners is what I am reviewing on, cause McDonalds, hmmmmm, doesn't do much for me. read more

Ugh. I have tried and tried to give this McD's a chance, but they keep getting my orders wrong. Yesterday, I asked for no mustard on a cheeseburger, and what do I get when I open up the wrapping? No cheese. What?? Also this McD's McCafe is not up to the same quality ad other locations. I love to treat my wife to a caramel frappe but this location always makes the drink runny, doesn't fill the cup to the top, and it tastes watered down. They may have renovated to make the place up to date and added a kids play area, but that doesn't make up for the poor service and quality control. read more

Stopped at this McDonalds on my way home around 11pm. Everything was fine when I ordered. However, after I ordered, I waited about 15 minutes to get to the payment/pickup window. I ordered a large Diet Coke, 2 big mac's and a McDouble, nothing crazy. The Diet Coke was just as expected, however the buns on burgers were stale and the burgers were cold. The meat was cold, the cheese was cold. I would not recommend this McDonalds and I will avoid it in the future. read more

I feel bad slamming this McDonalds, but that's what I feel compelled to do. They have a dual drive thru, and yet it routinely takes me 10 minutes to get a single cup of coffee. I don't understand why it's so slow --no matter what time of day-- but it is. The location is convenient because of my commute, but I dread pulling into the lot, everytime, knowing that I'll be sitting . I give the wokers credit. They must know how long it's taking, because often they hand me my coffee at the first window when I pay, knowing I've been waiting 5 minutes just to hand them my credit card. Funny store, my girlfriend wants to have chicken nugget like 3:30 in the morning. So I drove all the way from south Chinatown to this closest McDonald to finish my mission. So they told me they were closing and could not sell me any chicken nuggets, and basket fast will be serve 1 hour 30 mins later. I will very disappointed, then my friend put out a stupid idea. I just can't understand why it takes 20 minutes in the drive through at any time of day. Even one am. Makes no sense.

This morning I ordered breakfast thru the mobile app. I noticed that I entered as pick up by mistake when I was already by the drive thru intercom. I thought I was going to just pick it up by the window. No big deal right? I talked to the ppl inside if I could just pick up thru the window and they keep saying no and that I have to park my car and come in to get my food. The manager in there also gave me the death stare with her eyes wide open and says the same thing. Mind her I'm the customer and I was the one that paid for the food. I asked her calmly if I just get my food thru the window which will save me time but the manager keeps denying my request and still tries to win her case. Now I'm pissed. I have to come into the restaurant when I was in a hurry to get to work and yet I have to take this heat from the manager like I stole her money. At this point I already wasted so much time so I just parked my car and went inside. I then ended up waiting for like another 6-7 mins on the pick up line with only 3-4 orders on the screen being in process with no one waiting in line when my food should've been ready. Oh the worst part about it was when I finally got my food, went back to my car and drove off I found out that my cup of coffee has 10 x cream and 10 x sugar in it. I am not one for promoting this type of franchise; however, I was really impressed with the service at this location. I needed to stop and pick up some breakfast on the way to visiting my mom and this was the only place that had a drive-thru located on the south end of Archer Avenue. I kept thinking to myself that I should've made something at my house and heated it up when I got to the city. I got onto Archer Avenue on Harlem, thinking that there would be something with a drive thru by the time I got to my destination. It wasn't until I passed California I saw McDonald's. I wasn't happy about stopping, but it was my only choice. I ordered two bagel/coffee meals. 1. I've NEVER had McDonald's coffee before. This location brewed it very nice. It was quite good. 2. I normally don't eat breakfast from a fast food place, but their egg and bacon bagel sandwich was delish! 3. The young woman taking my order and the young man handing me my order were so polite and happy. How exciting it is for me to have found a place on the south end side of Archer Avenue with a drive thru! My life has become so much easier. read more

Completely new building. I'll miss the old playland, but the new facilty is larger and cleaner. Same McD food. Has McCafe as well., but there's also flat screens and lots of different seating areas, inclluding a large area foir families(enclosed in the playland). Went here before through the drive thru and had no issues. It was lunch time so it was crowded. I went there today and was the only one in line at 11am. I got a meal and then switched out the pop for a caramel frappe. I pull up to the first window and pay, no issues. Pull up to second window and get my food, no problem. But the drink was an issue. At this time there was another customer so the asked me to pull up and wait. 5 minutes later and I still didn't have the frappe. Since no one was there, I went in reverse to the second window and cancelled the frappe and just got a pop. I saw they were making it in the background. I just didn't crave it anymore at this point. F ALL THE HATERS. Yes this McDonald's is busy all the time, especially the drive thru but I think that this McDonald's has better food than a lot of the McDonald's I've been too. This employee that works there...She's a heavy set lady been seeing her there for years working there I personally didn't have a problem with her cause i speak English ... But for years seen her taking orders to Hispanic customers that don't speak no English and when she takes their order it sure disgust me .. Why cause I have heard her speak Spanish and I'm pretty sure she understands and instead of using her bilingual skills and helping our people she seems look down on them ..While they are struggling to give her their order in English she will continue to speak English ...
