Service is great, but the food is nothing to call back home. Be warned--no bathroom or handwashing facilities. I went for a hot sub, but maybe next time stick with a regular cold one. Fries are bland, so ask for seasoning. Pepsi products. The first fries I tried tasted like they were cooked with stale oil, but the bottom ones were fine. Very odd place. I walked in and was not greeted until 5 minutes of waiting. I ordered a Philly chicken sandwich, which honestly - I could have made it much better at home. It tasted really weird and they oddly filled half the sandwich with mayo, lettuce, and tomato (Philly style???). The chicken tasted like it came out of a can. I tried tipping the employee who made my food, but when I went to add a tip to my receipt, I was told by the guy in charge "it's too late... I don't know how to give them tips off cards). Not sure if that needs to be be looked into by the DOL Wage and Hour Division. For 15 you get a bland tasting sandwich and fries, and a coke. What are the chances of this? I have been wanting to try this location for years, but I am usually hesitant on trying establishments that don't look to clean. But I broke and said, let me stop being so boodgie and go on in. So the gentleman was on his phone arguing with his other boss. (I know this because he ended up telling me the whole story later), but I digress for now. Usually when you see a customer st the front, you get off the phone or politely say: "I'll be with you in a moment". Well for 6 minutes exactly, that never happened. I saw the time when I came in and I knew it would be that kind of evening. He finally got off the phone and started rambling on about how his other job (Uber) was punishing him because someone accused him of inappropriate behavior. Ummmm, none of my business! Then I ordered and mind you, he was sweeping and talking on the phone when I walked in. He didn't wash his hands at all, and he didn't wear gloves while making my sandwich. I asked him about that and he stated he's the only one who doesn't use gloves. He then proceeded to "shake" the oils used with his finger covering the nozzle. I let him finish. Then he said if I wanted ice on the root beer he's have to go in back and scoop it out of the bin (I dreaded to think). I paid f e the meal, and in front of him I threw it away because I wanted to prove a point. Not that I couldn't of walked away, but I wanted him to know that I was a paying customer with concerns and it was the principal of the meal prep. Moral of the story: too many bacteria's and diseases out there to take chances. Go elsewhere. I usually don't post negative hygiene but in this case, I couldn't even taste the food. Yesterday, I stopped into this location to grab a sub and fries after not having Mr. Submarine in a few years... I was pissed because I wanted a Nehi Lemonade but their machine wasn't working. When, I finally arrived to work to excitedly eat my sandwich because I was starving. I found a huge piece of fucking mystery meat on my sandwich. The subs are always awesome!! I never walk out with less than a King Roast Beef (extra cheese), King Gyro Sub (you have to try this!!), and a Combo Sub (no mustard). Tasty!! I also ordered a pizza puff but it was a bit undercooked. However, the guy did ask if I wanted crispy or regular...I said regular. It was a one-time-thing though. I'm a sub guy. The Chicken sub (with cheese) is also amazing. And another thing... I went this past Sunday and my car stalled. One of my guiltiest pleasures is indulging in a cheese sub with banana peppers! I remember when they were $1.35 for a regular. They are more than twice that now!
