This location operates like a well oiled machine. Came here for lunch on a weekday and there was already about 10-15 people in front of me in line. To my surprise, the wait to the front didn't take long at all. First of all, they have an assembly line of sandwich makers comprised of about 7 people. Everyone seemed to be on their ish as everyone operated with a sense or urgency. There was a woman dressed in a red shirt (everyone else wore black) who seemed to be the "line leader". She made sure the line was divided according to whether you were ordering a hot or a cold sub. She also made sure the other employees had the customer's order correctly written down, and basically just made sure the line was flowing smoothly and efficiently. My co-workers and I had somewhat of a complicated order in terms of payment and everyone showed patience, and wonderful customer service. I ordered the Big Kahuna Sub sandwich with chips and drink and that sucker was tasty and the regular portion is pretty large. The steak is cooked well and the cheese blends the meat in with the mushrooms and peppers. The only reason that I knocked off a star is because I got my hot sub sandwich like 5 minutes later than the rest of my party. But to their defense I guess it takes a while to cook the meat. Also, I've still yet to try their other subs. Also, the subs are a little pricey (about $9 for a regular). Lucky for me, the company I work for owed me lunch! But yes, I'll be back when I'm craving a nice hot sandwich. read more

My wallet was stolen at this location (I understand Jersey Mike's Subs is not responsible or held liable) and I was sitting directly under a camera. The manager, Pierre not only has refused to cooperate with the police investigation, but he's been dodging calls and asking me to come to his location so he can hand over the video footage only for him to not be there because he "had to step out last minute". When I have be able to speak to him he has verbally attacked me, screamed at me, swore at me, accused me of trying to fraud HIM and accused me of having a poor character. All I'm asking for is the footage taken at the 200 W Monroe location on 11/19/2019 between 12:30-1:30 pm. The thief took my wallet and attempted to go on a shopping spree spending upwards of thousands of dollars. While the other merchants have been cooperative in sending footage and assisting me, Pierre has not. The police need the footage of the thief taking the wallet from my coat, which is a pretty simple request. I've never been treated so poorly by a franchise and frankly I'm disgusted at how this business has let this man go on treating customers. All I want is my footage -- thanks. read more

I've seen Jersey Mikes around and was always intrigued by its marketing of freshness. When we walked in for lunch the place looked like a rundown Chinese restaurant with elements of eastern European store. All the cheeses and meets looked like I am back in Russia and I am about to buy a pound of kalbasa but not like I am about to order a "healthy" sub. Menu was very confusing and at 11am I wanted a breakfast sandwich but was told they no longer are serving those (stops at 10am). Alright, I got chipotle chicken and it was very greasy with no lettuce or anything on the healthier side. It was also not cut in half making it hard to eat. Overall not the best experience. The only thing I was impressed was staffing levels and how fast they moved the line. read more

Ordered multiple times even sent emails with no response. Just make sure you check your sandwich before you leave for pickup orders. Received mayo smothered on my sandwich when I asked for none due to an egg allergy I have multiple times. Sandwich had to be thrown away. I have a co-worker that swears by this place. She claims Jersey Mike's possess the best subs ever made. She told me this place is a staple in the burbs...I never heard of it Due to a lunch scheduling mishap I had a chance to check this joint out. Got there before a long line formed and was greeted by two employees. One I got near the register another girl greeted me by asking to take my order. I told her I had never been there before and I needed to look at the menu board. I noticed they had a turkey provolone sandwich (a #7). They have 3 sizes: small, regular and giant. I decided to have a regular #7. They have 2 lines: Cold Sub Line and Hot Sub Line. I was in the cold sub line. Once in line after you order, the very friendly sandwich making staff will ask you if you want regular or Mike's way. Mike's way is tomatoes, seasoning, vinegar, oil and a gang of lettuce. The bread was very soft and was the star of the sandwich The sandwich itself was ok, but I have had better. I will go back and give their sandwich another shot at some point read more

I contribute my weight gain to this place :) I use to go here all the time and get the #3 breakfast sandwich (Sausage, egg, an cheese) on a plain bagel. I haven't been in a while, but I missed this place so I paid them a visit this week. Breakfast sandwiches will run you $5.50 (price increase from the last time I visited), but are pretty good. Reason for the 3 stars is because I'm not a fan of their lunch selection or sub sandwiches. Breakfast here is good though. Plenty of seating and if you go during the summer there is outdoor seating. read more

This place gets slammed at lunch time. It becomes chaotic and they don't do a great job at organizing the separate lines that form. After standing in line for about ten minutes, they then decided to split the lines based on whether you were ordering a cold sub or a hot sub. I decided to try out their Famous Cheesesteak and had to wait another 15 minutes in the hot line. Overall, the sandwich was just "okay". Ordered a cheesesteak "in a tub" which is Jersey Mike's salad no carb version of a sandwich. I got back to my office to find no lettuce and just meat in a bowl. I called the store to let them know of the mistake and they said they would refund me. Then they called back to argue that I needed to specify that I want lettuce when I order a tub. While in town, and working from the office, I stopped here with a coworker for lunch. I specifically sought it out because I MISS Jersey Mike's delicious sandwiches (which are, oddly, NOT available in New Jersey...). Decor: Pretty standard here and not much to say as it's a JM's. It's clean, well lit, inviting, and there are a decent number of tables. They also have outdoor seating, which is solid. Bathroom: I did not use it during my visit. Staff: They are speedy and friendly, what more could you want from a franchised deli? Food/Drink: The sandwiches are great, I love them. I had the classic Italian and added a few extra ingredients. The sandwich was made right in front of me and to the exact specs I wanted. It was fresh, the bread soft, and tasted delicious. Value: Your dollar will go a decent way here and you can get a solid lunch for pretty cheap. I will always come back to JM's because they definitely know how to make a sandwich, and quick! read more

Horrible service management seems incompetent and unprofessional on a daily the restaurant isn't kept clean. Sanitation is a must in any deli environment dealing with raw meats or any beef pork or poultry, on any given day a lack of proper cleaning and due diligence has led to plenty of cases of food poisoning rather if you do dine here it's best to do so later in the day before closing or you'll most like have a bloody #7 with there even being left over pieces of roast beef in your turkey sandwich very disappointing. A change of management is in order, it's very obvious that the current management is bringing this store location down. There are constant employees changes new employees who appear under trained and not really knowing much of anything. Example I asked for a #7 being that I'm a regular I was prompted with "which one is that again" so yeah 1 star because the chips and beverages are spot on! read more

Traditional topping, lettuce, pickles, Onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, and a nice Splash of oil and what appears to be red wine vinaigrette. Thank you so so so much for taking allergies seriously. I didn't even have to tell them that I had celiac which I'm always embarrassed about. When I ordered the gluten-free bread, they automatically changed their gloves, gave me a different knife and did mayonnaise out of a squeeze jar. I cannot thank you enough for not making me sick! Yes, Jersey Mike's is a franchise, but you would never know it by the fresh bread and quality sandwich meat they use. This place blows Halsted Street Deli out of the water...a regular-sized sub at Jersey Mike's is loaded with meat and plenty of onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil, & spices - "Mike's Way." Second day in and this place is already packed...service is a little slow since every sandwich is made to order, but I imagine they will get more efficient. This place is awful! The ordering process is chaotic. Maybe that property is cursed because Salad Spinners was just as bad. I ordered a mini chipotle turkey sub and side of cheddar broccoli soup. It took almost ten minutes for my sandwich to be made and it didn't even have any chipotle mayo! During the process, the employee dropped the spice shaker on my sandwich, quickly removed it, then proceeded to finish without asking if I'd like a new one. I saw what ya did there, lady! I requested fresh vegetables since I was in a hurry and didn't want to wait another 10 minutes. The woman behind me in line nastily goes, "Ummm they are wearing gloves". Yes but who knows where that shaker has been! It took the lady five seconds to put new tomatoes on so it's not like I was holding up the line. The cheddar broccoli soup was absolutely digusting. The taste was off and the texture reminded me of.....loogies. Slimy, blobby and horrific. I tossed it. Sandwich was ok but bland.....nothing that would make me come back. I've been eating Jersey Mike's subs since 1995 when they entered Ohio. The subs are hands down the best subs I've ever had. If I had to rate the place solely on food they would certainly get five stars. The Italian sub is to die. If you are watching calories, they also have the option of making any sub into a wrap. The toppings are always fresh and high quality. Get it "Mikes Way" - you can't go wrong. As to why they get three stars.....I don't like the set up of this location, or how they handle your order. They get very busy at lunch and literally create the sandwiches like a bat out of hell. Your sandwich gets handled by several people throughout the assembly line process and the way they flop the sandwiches around down the line reduces my hunger. I'm sure if they were any slower I'd complain about that. So in fairness I'll admit that for the long lines at lunch they're pretty efficient. I just don't like watching them pass my sandwich around like a show and tell exercise. I'll certainly be back since the food is amazing! I will just do my best not to watch them slop around my sandwich like a fish out of water. read more

I am always excited when I find a good sandwich that is flavorful, fresh, and reasonable for the quality. Meh. I had a coupon, so I tried it. I'm definitely more of a Jimmy John's girl, when I'm looking for quick, cheap sandwich fix during lunch - but hey, I've never been here before so I figured maybe I was missing out. I got the #7 Turkey Sub - which is apparently one of their best sellers. I decided to 'live it up' and get it "mike's way" - which includes lettuce, onion, tomatoes, vinegar, oil, and spices. It was fine - I could have probably made myself a better sandwich, but it was convenient. It was very messy, lettuce and onion falling out everywhere and the oil and vinegar made it drip everywhere. The bread was ok, the turkey wasn't horrible - but I will say that the red vinegar really did add a nice, unique flavor!! (They also wanted me to join their mike's club rewards club or something - which always annoys me at places. You can't force customer loyalty in that way. Either your product deserves it and it happens, or it doesn't.) read more

Time to order that Jersey Shore with extra Fist Pumps that I have always been waiting for! I have been here twice. Once with a co-worker FROM Jersey and another time by myself seeking redemption. I tried the cold sub (italian) with my co-workers and of course with all the fixin's. The service was quite slow for a sandwich. Upon receiving our sandwiches with a hefty price tag we decided to take a stroll back to work. We had decided that the sub would automatically be deemed good if the oily goodness seeped through the packaging once we got to our office. Sadly, it was not. There's always room for redemption right?! Apparently, not in Jersey. There was a Mr. Submarine across the street from Jersey Mikes and it made me regretful. It wasn't horrible or anything, just so so so VERY mediocre. Okay, redemption time part deux. I decided that maybe cold subs wasn't their thing - so I went to grab a hot philly. Totally wrong! Not enough cheese, meat was dry, the onions/peppers were oddly sour. Save yourself the money and go across the street to Mr. Submarine if you're looking for a good sub. You'll save yourself more than half of what you would have paid at a place trying to ride the Jersey Shore pop wave. read more

Went there for lunch today, had the Roast Beef and Provolone. For a sandwich, it was fairly good. I would recommend it to people for lunch. All the slices are cut to order and are fresh, not like a subway. They separate the lines, which is nice. A line to the door took between 5-10 minutes to get my sub, pay and start the walk back to the office. Not bad. I will definitely go back and try a cheese steak. Would have gotten it today, but it's too warm outside. read more
