Gives first service in emergency ,to Spanish-speaking applicants--dislikes disabled or citizens.--Never has appts, and if you are sick, can't make appt, they throw you out of clinic .--You have to apply over again. DON'T GO IF YOU ARE A SENIOR OR DISABLED!!--It seems to bring out the worst in the company and staff.--Uncaring front office employees, management.- -Unskilled ,inept dental employees. ---Few appts. ever available. I haven't personally gotten in to their health clinic services, but their outreach program does wonders for the community. They give out blankets, tents, sleeping bags, safe use supplies, underwear and socks, hygiene supplies, a ton of stuff the large unhoused community in Eugene needs read more

UPDATE: If you sign up for cancellation list call they leave a Message but give appointment away if you don't call back in 2 seconds, I called back in Exactly 5 minutes. Just more of the same lack of proffessionalism and care for their patients. Office staff, the Nasties behind the Glass, especially cranky old grey haired lady and eye rolling Gabi, who dots her I's with a little , are Rude, Toxic and Ignorant. Don't Be On Time Or they will throw an Over the Top Tantrum. They have no clue how Insurance works. After an Hour My Provider had to call and Explain it to them! Your Welcome 4 the Free Training! I don't normally post reviews, but White Bird deserves this one. Back in 2020 apparently was my last appointment. I was told I'd receive a call for setting up an appointment, only to never get one. In December 2021 or January 2022, I called White Bird to try and get an appointment for something specific. No one picked up and the voicemail was full, so I couldn't leave a message, forcing me to go to urgent care. This past month, I've been struggling with crippling depression and suicidal thoughts. I'm not a fan of medication because it makes me feel like I'm not myself anymore, but I was willing to try because the thoughts were bad. I call and get an appointment for April 4th, but worry I won't make it til then, so I ask for a sooner appointment and let the receptionist know I'm struggling with suicidal thoughts. Today I was supposed to go in to my new appointment, but less than an hour before I'm meant to be there, I get a call telling me it's been too long since I last went in and am now considered a new patient. Right now, White Bird isn't accepting new patients, so I lost my appointment and have been put on a wait list. White Bird dropped the ball twice, first with not calling and second with not answering. Now they're fine turning away someone who's seriously struggling, forcing me to go to urgent care instead. I highly recommend not going to them for medical assistance. read more

white bird clinic is trashy. substandard healthcare. i am a former client, and they refused to prescribe me the medication i needed when i was near death with anorexia. they refused to even refer to someone who could. their therapists are poorly trained, and their front desk workers are rude, and there is a reason all of their clients are homeless, dying, ill and injured, and do not get better, only worse. have very little to offer the homeless, or the disabled. literally anywhere in eugene can offer better health care, especially if you're homeless. read more

Best cleaning I've ever received. I also had a tooth removed skillfully and with minimal bruising. Though not the newest equipment they also make the time to help a lot of people who would go without otherwise (and are opening new location). Eugene is lucky to have this place. read more

The Oregon Brat Society member at White Bird Dental Clinic phoned me today to cancel my cleaning appointment for Wednesday. I had been waiting for over a month during which I experienced pain in the two teeth their dentist had filled months ago. I understand it is sometimes necessary for an organization to cancel an appointment, but they don't have to be outstandingly rude about it. When she called me (sounding hurried and harassed), I told her I needed a dentist appointment ASAP and why and asked if she could schedule me. She said yes. I told her I would get my appointment book and to wait a second. (The book was less than 15 feet away!) She responded in a nasty tone "Hurry! Hurry!" Given that she called me, at her convenience, not mine, I commented that "Hurry! Hurry!" was neither polite nor good customer relations/service. There was silence, no explanation or apology. The rest of the phone call was down hill. I was scheduled several weeks out and had to ask her whether there was a waiting list . . . she never volunteered that information, although I had told her I am in pain. This is the first time I met with rudeness at White Bird, although their cancellation rate of appointments with me is about thirty percent of the time. However, whether or not the cancellation was necessary, the rudeness and arrogance was not necessary. read more

if i could give this place no stars i would the is the worst experience i have ever had at a dentist, when you walk in it is cold and clammy and kinda gives you basement vibes but i didn't see it as a problem, but then they took me into the back because i had an abscess , it was very unprofessional looking and very basement like, i was very scared because they said they were going to pull my tooth out and gave me no numbing , they had me lay still and then ripped part of my tooth out because they did ut wrong and i was in the most pain i had ever been in the when i was screaming because i didnt want them to pull the reat out because i was in so much pain they held me down and ripped the reat of my tooth out !!!!! please never go read more
