The time and battery were cut off in both corners. I took it back to him last Wednesday. Guess what? Now it's an internal cable that is the problem. Excuse me? It started with a simple cracked screen. Then it had to be sent off for some reason. Not fixed. Now it's an internal cut cord? That he can't fix. Dude wants to give my iPad back with NO screen and give me the $260 back. I said no. Give me what I paid for which is an iPad with a fixed screen or provide me with a new iPad. He literally hung up on me. A business owner. I then texted him because that is his preferred communication. He asked me not to text him anymore. Screenshot is below. He told me that there was nothing wrong and when I told him the issues I was experiencing, he just repeatedly told me the issue was the cord (I've tried several different cords with the issue persisting). Popped drive out of existing enclosure and bought $12 cable on amazon to test myself (exactly what i asked them to do). The drive not corrupted at all. It just needed a new enclosure as I thought. I don't know what sort of scam they were running or if just incompetent. Dives do not go from structured to RAW back to structured. Guy who owns place was smug and refused to refund $30 diagnostic fee. Im sure they sometimes do good work and can probably fix your cracked phone, but place is run by an unethical person. Thankfully I checked their work before spending $1000+ on recovery. If it's anything more advanced than fixing your phone screen, stay away!
