She snatched the menu out of my wife's hand and threw my steak knife onto the table instead of placing it. I wanted to pitch a fit when I saw that gratuity was included, this woman did nothing to deserve a tip. That doesn't even mention the food. The ragù (somehow wasn't red??), tasted like one big bell pepper with sausage. I for real spent $30 on some Mac and cheese.... It was so boring. The flatiron steak was actually really flavorful but it was cold. The fries were ~fries~, if you can't do that well then you got real problems. I will not be wasting my money or time on this place again. I have no idea how it made it on the michellin guide.

While there, I was impressed by the cocktail menu and they had 3-4 delicious mocktails with no alcohol in them (not even non-alcoholic alcohol which is still nasty if you don't drink alcohol). So, I enjoyed a delicious and spicy mocktail while I waited for my Stone Fruit salad. I chose the following: -Chuck Taylor Mocktail -Tomato and Stonefruit Salad -Casarecce Alla Vodka -Profiterole The stone fruit salad was to die for. Perfect combination of cheese, tomato, oil, sal, and vinegar stone fruits. It was light and refreshing and filling. My caserecce was a bit disappointing and plain, it also got cold really really fast, but the flavor was good. The profiterole was a large size and fresh, but was extremely salty with the caramel and salt on top. Excellent flavors and execution, just a bit too salty for my own taste with a dessert. Decor inside is lovely, loved the location downtown, great pace to the meal and enjoyed walking around the area before and after my meal. I will add this to my own "must visit" list for my next trip to town.

And the Yurts were pricey but AC, running bathroom, very clean and cozy so can't complain. They also have the ability to project images across the walls and ceiling of the cave offering a fully immersive experience. For being inside a cave the amenities are quality. Bathrooms are large and accessible and the concessions operate smoothly. The prices for the concessions are on the extremely high side. Rivaling prices of a professional sporting event, beers run between $11-$14 a can! The Caverns also continues to expand and now offers a food truck court. The food truck court offers multiple food options and flat top areas for eating. The Caverns also host a 6k person amphitheater located on top of the cave for an outdoor music experience.

I highly recommend the "Bartender's Choice" cocktail option--the staff is incredibly skilled, and the drinks they crafted were awesome. ​However, management needs to fix their highly deceptive checkout flow. The bar chooses not to bake Tennessee's mandatory 15% Liquor-by-the-Drink tax into their menu prices. When the bartender flips the POS tablet to pay, the system completely hides the itemized receipt. It jumps straight to a final total that includes a combined 24.25% in state and liquor taxes. ​To make matters worse, the screen presents ridiculous suggested tip options of 20%, 30%, and 40%--which are calculated on top of that heavily taxed final total rather than the subtotal. If you just tap a prompt, you end up aggressively tipping on hidden taxes. ​Come for the excellent cocktails and great bartenders, but ignore the suggested buttons and manually calculate your tip based on the actual menu price of your drinks.
