We had seen this place a few months ago when we parked nearby to walk a block or so to the square in Newnan. We had been meaning to check it out. We were traveling nearby on a recent Saturday and opted to stop in at around noon. There is street parking as well as a large public lot across the street. This space was previously a small Thai restaurant (and I'm sure it had multiple incarnations before that). From what I recall, the layout in the Thai restaurant seemed smaller. They appear to have opened up space so that the dining area is deeper now. There is a dining area up front with a few tables; this area has more natural light from windows. The dining area continues along one wall adjacent to the kitchen, and it is a bit darker there. The overall vibe is 'artsy', with art displayed on the wall (some for sale), creative names for menu items, etc. The shop would fit right in to a small college town. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. We got seated right away and were able to find items we wanted. The menu is not extensive, but it has a decent spread of items that should satisfy most people. I quite liked my BLT and the accompanying chips. The size was right and the bacon was well crisped. They also didn't try too hard with some odd bread or whatever. I like a place that just makes a straight-ahead BLT without trying to make it needlessly 'classy'. My wife liked her chicken salad sandwich okay. The side salad she got was good. Prices were reasonable. They seemed to have an adjoining property called Lune which may be their dinner incarnation. It seems like both restaurants are related and the menu implied that they did serve dinner, but maybe just at Lune (?). FWIW. I would consider returning here for another meal. read more

Waiter seemed nice and attentive. Cute interior but I wouldn't say "whimzical". I had the "triple cheese" sandwich. Three slices of white bread and three (thin) slices of cheese then grilled. Not worth $10 and not tasty. How about sour dough bread with loads of cheese ... maybe two sauces on the side (sweet and tangy)? Maybe that would be whimzical? Potato salad was okay. read more

Good food, good service and good view of the passing trains made our stop here deliciously delightful. My grandson gave the grilled cheese sandwich two thumbs up, accompanied by milk and sliced apple. I can recommend the chicken salad sandwich with side salad topped with raspberry vinaigrette. I was visiting Newnan for work and needed a quick bite. Found this adorable place on google maps and wanted to give it a try. Easy to find free street parking. Entered with a warm welcome from the server/host and found a seat. I beat the Wednesday lunch rush as they quickly filled up. They have a fully stocked bar with some fun drinks, I did not partake but others seemed to be enjoying themselves. The decor was colorful and none of it was particular stylish, but it works for a small downtown cafe. I did have a baby with a considerably large head staring me down with a judgy look, but they can't help that. I ordered the Mr.Cluck's Revenged based off the server's recommendation. Funny name since it's turkey. I looked it up and turkeys do in fact cluck, my bad. I wonder if Mr. Gobbles was considered, seeing it typed I understand why it wasn't. A wide variety of chip options came with the sandwich. The sandwich was a nice size and still made the $15 price worth it. Great bread. If you find yourself in downtown Newnan it's worth walking from the square to grab a bite. Bonus Point: Great glassware and they give you a bottle to pour your own water read more

We ate here on a Wednesday for lunch. We were the only people there which is a shame. The sandwiches were very good. I had the pork with au ju, delicious! Loved the quaint decor, very cozy. The food was absolutely delicious!! I had Mr. Cluck's revenge which is a turkey, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato with jalapeno ranch dressing. My husband had the Get Figgy With It flatbread with fig sauce, prosciutto and feta. Both were delicious. Sandwich was huge!!! The owner and her staff were very friendly and helpful. The little touches such as lemon served in a tiny china dish and drinks served in decorative gobblers was a very nice touch! We will return for sure. Will be sure to tell others also.
