We like this place. It's our third time. The outside architecture is refreshing and inviting. Step inside and you're into another world. Very tastefully decorated. With both inside and outside seating. The bar is beautiful with comfortable seating. But aren't we here for the food? This is not your Mexican restaurant like all the other ones here in Newnan. Yes it's halfway to Peachtree city, and maybe that's the reason it's got more. What? I live in Newnan. I love Newnan. But I think most of the restaurants in Newnan are tired and stale. Notice I said most. Absent are the four most recent openings and remodeling. Tonight was simple. Starting with margaritas and Mojitos served stellar glassware. Mojito lovers know there's good Mojitos and bad Mojitos. These are good, more than good. Brussel sprout appetizer, unique to this restaurant, and not overbearingly drenched balsamic vinegar. The shrimp taco was delightfully crafted. Delicious shrimp a wonderful sauce around it. Garnished beautifully with pickled onions and a slice of ripe avocado. Decorated with little bit of sour cream, beautiful. The sauce was creamy and had a heat that was subtle but very present. Slightly smoky. It seems the chips and salsa are required. Their chips are delicate and the salsa, thick and smoky. Thank you Pablo for checking if we were happy and bringing our check. We will be back.

Ohhh boy, Botanico is a BIG yes from this tiny foodie! I went with my roommates, and we sat outside where there were sooo many pretty flowers--I tried to grab some, but Roommate 1 said "No no!" (I tried anyway... heehee). Best part? There was space for me to get my energy out! Now let's talk food. I got truffle fries--crispy, yummy, MINE. Mama had chicharron tacos with homemade tortillas (fancy!) and Daddy had duck mole enchiladas. I snuck a bite... WOW. My taste buds did a happy dance! Oh, and for my fellow tiny humans--there's a baby changing station in the women's bathroom! Fancy food and a comfy place for a fresh diaper? Win-win! Botanico gets two chubby thumbs up! Will I be back? Yes. Will I try to grab more flowers? Also yes.

Never had a dish I didn't love. Service is a little slow but worth the wait. Love the sitting interior and exterior. Definitely our go to restaurant every Friday after work!

Everything was better than my first visit. I ordered these shish kabobs... more food than 3 people could eat and overboard presentation. Service is still slow, lots of employees just wondering around. Cool atmosphere.

New and won't make it. Nothing but a very expensive Mexican beer and liquor joint. Walked in. No service. Left. Never to return.

The drinks are fresh and crisp. The food is flavorful. It's not your typical Mexican restaurant.

I noted that they recently had moved to a different location closer to Newnan. This venue has hosted several different restaurants in the last 5+ years, including the 2nd incarnation of Mamma Lucia's. We checked it out on a recent Saturday for lunch. The location is about a mile east of I-85 on Hwy 34. It has its own small parking lot, but is also located amongst a maze of small business, a bowling alley, etc. so there should be other parking opportunities if needed. There is a bar area when you enter and IIRC there is a large dining room in the back. However, it was a nice day when we visited so we opted to sit out on their covered patio. Our server was attentive and stopped by when needed. The only minor issue was that their online menu had been more expansive than the one they were currently using (mostly brunch). There were still a variety of dishes, just not quite as many as we'd expected. I wasn't super hungry so I just got a salad. It was large so I didn't leave hungry. I looked at the wines but they seemed pricey, so I skipped that. My wife opted for a brunch platter (eggs / sausage / hashbrowns) and liked it. The food was good. Prices were mid-range. If we go back, I think we'll try it for dinner instead, as we aren't usually huge brunch fans. However, this seemed like a decent choice for a good meal in this area.

The seared tuna was over seasoned. I did enjoy the salad. But after waiting for over an hour, I asked if I could get the shrimp and grits, as we had somewhere we needed to be. About that time, someone came out of the kitchen, tried to give me a cheeseburger. I let him know it wasn't for me. "It's for the band! This is where the band is supposed to sit." I had chosen that chair as it was the only one near the windows that didn't have sun directly in our eyes. I told him. There was no sign. None of the servers or hosts had said. "I wasn't notified." But my son and I went ahead and got up and went to stand by the bar to wait for our entree. I felt it had great potential, but it missed the mark for us.
