We were referred here by friends who are regulars. There's parking on the street. When we opened the doors, we were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful loft-style space with an open ceiling in black and rich hardwood floors and booths/tables. It was clean and fresh. We picked up our trays and selected one meat, two veggies, cornbread or roll, drink, and a dessert. There was a nice selection of proteins and veggies (cooked with turkey). Call ahead to find out that day's food options. Portions are generous. The staff (from the servers and cashier to the lady bussing the tables) was super helpful and friendly. Husband: turkey and dressing 5/5, fried okra 5/5, green beans 2/5; banana pudding 3/5; and tea. Me: fried chicken leg and breast, 4/5 (the breast was boneless and mixed in with the bone-in chicken. I prefer a bone and didn't realize this until I sat down); crowder peas, 3/5; collard greens, 3/5; cornbread muffins, 4/5; blackberry cobbler, 3/5; and tea. ***Total cost: $32ish plus tips; very reasonable! We look forward to trying them again. I highly recommend you try them for yourself. We saw several people picking up their to-go orders. They are open 11am-8pm and closed on Saturdays. Goldens is ideal for Sunday after church, family outings and just because.

The fried okra was the best I have probably ever had at a restaurant. Everything else was just ok.

Awesome southern cooking. Tip for the serving lines at register. Tip on the table for the busting of table on the table.

Each course was beautifully presented, and the wine pairings were thoughtfully selected to complement the food. Michael was fantastic--friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wines. He took the time to explain each pairing and made the experience even more enjoyable. It is a little pricey, but for a special occasion or unique dining experience, it's worth trying at least once. The creativity, presentation, and wine pairings made for a fun and memorable evening.

"No problem, friend". It becomes annoying... but not a big concern. What was concerning, however, was the quality of food. I can only say "hit and miss". Our table of two opted for the tasting menu. One of us got the game selections (quail and elk) which was seasoned quite nice, albeit the quail was overcooked and the elk was super rare. The other ordered the burrata and fish. Both were horrible. Absolutely bland. It wasn't presented as being the diet restriction option... it felt like the chef approached it that way. Final course was dessert. Uninspiring. In general, it was disappointing meal.

DO NOT get the wings, unless you're looking for an easy way to GAG. I don't eat pizza but I have to join my pizza eating family sometimes... So we made our way to this spot and I was totally content knowing they have a PLAIN WINGS OPTION. I got 10 Plain Wings... I asked for them to be EXTRA crispy... But when I saw the way they were going to be cooked (they're oven roasted in a tin container), I knew that wasn't going to be achieved but I had hopes. The wings came out after the pizzas. They did not look even a LITTLE crispy. They just looked fatty with soggy skin. My husband got the buffalo ones, took one bite and looked at me disgusted. I tried so hard to be positive about this wing experience but I was basically gagging while trying to eat the tiniest bit of chicken meat found on these INSANELY FATTY wings. I felt like I was attempting to eat globs of seasoned snot. Horrible. I highly recommend Your Pie Pizza either invest in a deep fryer and get a different chicken wing supplier, or just take wings off the menu. Focus on what you're decent at. Wings are not it. Needless to say, I was VERY disappointed with my lunch and I absolutely will NEVER go back to this spot.

So I tried to wait to review this place after a second visit with hopes the first was a fluke…read more Unfortunately that's wasn't the case. I'll start with the atmosphere, pretty standard pizza place dinning room. Nothing remarkable or that stood out. Just a basic dinning space. As for the food. Ugh. I'll start by saying I've never seen a place struggling so much with making a round pizza. The high school kids at the corporate spots send out a round pizza but this place has failed to do so everytime. Every pizza is a mix between a germ emoji or an egg. But not round. Its has to be a talent to NOT be able to make a round pie. On the first round I got a cheese and the meat lovers which for the price the meat lovers was lacking toppings. Few crumbles of meat here and there like I requested light toppings. Far from what I'd expect from a meat lovers at the cost charged. Cheese pizza was pretty standard cheese nothing great or horrible. Not round. I also got the pepperoni which again is far less toppings then what they share on social media but for arguement sake there was atleast 1 pepperoni on each slice. And all of them had under seasoned sauce. Having to salt a pepperoni pizza at home is wild and should never be the case. The garlic bread... man can we even call it that?! It's litterally a loaf of French bread cut and a piece of sliced cheese split in half, placed on top and toasted. It's what I imagine a child making for themselves as an after school snack. No garlic, no herb butter, just some brushed oil at best and a slice of cheese. Then comes the wings. Which wouldn't even call wings more like Wingdings. I mean these things were so small they should feel embarrassed selling them. I'd take them off the menu before sending out flats smaller than my finger. The drumettes reminded me of those videos where the guy makes a picnic for a squirrel with tiny foods. Seriously these things are TINY!! Finally the service. On the first visit there was literally one other table name they still managed to be unfocused and let food sit in the window before sending it out. Nothing came out hot as if it was fresh. It was all warm at best as if it had been sitting for much longer than it should have been. We had to search for the server to request water refills which with literally one other table shouldn't have been the case. On the second visit I ordered takeout, and after watching them brag on social media about the new and improved margarita pizza at ALL locations I wanted to try it instead of the plan cheese. Well apparently the peachtree city location was not updated on that. Because when i went to order the margarita the hostess stated that was no longer on the menu. So I was like ok Weird but whatever. Just to leave and guess what?! The first social media reel was Karvelas posting about, again, how the margarita pizza was now available at ALL locations. The communication from management to employees and owners are lacking as well as the quality of food and kitchen staff experience. Maybe the other locations are better but I can absolutely say the ptc location has an extreme amount of work to do before being a place to frequent or even consider to satisfy a pizza/wing craving.

We had tried a Karvela's once before - in Newnan shortly after they opened there. It was packed and…read morewe never felt motivated to drive back over there for a 2nd visit. This location (in PTC) is where Christo's used to be. We were sort of bummed when Christo's shut down, so I was glad to see something else (potentially similar) opening here. Parking is in the large shared lot for the entire plaza. We visited on a weeknight and were able to get a seat without a wait. Our server was attentive and friendly. We decided to split a pizza and opted for a 'build your own', though they had a list of standard styles also. While I don't have extremely high standards for things like plates or utensils, I was surprised that all they had here was paper plates and plastic utensils. The wine glass was a flexible clear-plastic inverted fustrum (I had to look that up - the bottom half of a cone, basically). At least the tables were not the wooden picnic variety. None of this particularly bothered me, but it didn't seem like they were 'passing the savings along to you' - more like they cut costs to the bone to boost margins. The pizza was okay, but did not become an instant favorite. There are one or two local places where we occasionally get pizzas, and both would still edge out this pizza. Maybe we'll stop in again to compare but TBD.
