This is the best burger joint in all of Newnan, P'Tree City and ALL surrounding areas. The food is great and the service is great as well. I have to give a special shout out to the staff. They are well trained, friendly and professional. Much better than you would expect from a burger joint. This is a regular stop when friends from Atlanta come down to visit. If you like gourmet burgers AND dogs this is THE place to go! read more

My burger was JOYOUS. As a gluten-free person, these house-made buns are incredible. I always get the Curve Ball with their fries, which are seasoned incredibly. Soft, crispy, flavorful, divine. Big smile on my face every single time. AND its a great price, AND my servers are always lovely, accommodating people. I didnt take a pic today, but i have old pictures from months ago. Their burgers have been consistently delicious for years. Love you guys. Hands down my favorite thing about living here now. Attached as well is the Ranchero salad. Its the only restaurant salad ive ever enjoyed, i subbed greens for spinach and the cheese for goat. Amazing. read more

In the area for a short amount of time, I was looking for a quick and reliable place to eat. Being a party of one, it was easy to get a table but there were also plenty of seats at the bar otherwise available too. I got their Double double burger w/ fry sauce but was salty, juicy, and slightly sweet with the caramelized onions. The thin onion rings were a great side dish as well as the fry sauce. However, if I was informed in advance the fry sauce was at an additional cost, I certainly could have done without. Nonetheless, I had an overall good time. It is certainly a local's favorite as it was almost entirely full on a weekday for dinner. It gives a typical bar vibe with solid food worth coming back for. read more

The best burgers in Newnan/Peachtree city area! Service was good. Atmosphere was clean and fun.

The food was awesome. Everyone loved their burgers, hotdogs, and corn dogs along with the onion rings. The host was not very personable and seemed put off to have to do his job which really played down a festive atmosphere. read more

Great food and service! Located in downtown Newnan, definitely a hidden jewel. Gets busy during the rush hours but I usually have very little wait. Ambiance also good, room and tables clean which is very important for me. read more

Always make a great burger. They are cooked to order. Service is great. Staff are friendly.

What a gem I found while traveling through Georgia. Waitstaff was amazing and suggested daily special "burger wrap" and it was fantastic! Also some good beers to choose from. Very busy place, especially early dinner time on a Thursday! I was able to sit at a hightop on the bar side, which was perfect. The ladies at the nearby table were super friendly and I learned they enjoy coming here almost every week. Loved meeting new people at Meat 'n Greet! read more

Food was delicious, service was fairly quick especially how busy they were. Cool pub vibe. I had bird bam-I think- the turkey burger. I LOVE spicy and this had fresh jalepanos- was sooo good! Another good thing is they will do any meat on any burger style. Will def return. Oh and GREAT whole fried okra! read more

Order the okra. I have never found any like it, and believe me, I have urged restaurants in other cities to add it to their menus -- especially if they have been serving frozen fried okra. It's sliced lengthwise and seasoned with a little chili powder. Hmmm. This is just one example of the innovative dishes there, which is why I recommend this place. read more

The food and service was excellent. I wish I didn't live so far away as I would definitely return and become a regular.

Love the Maddog 2020, not on the menu, however they always accommodate. Simply, my favorite burger in Newnan. The fried Okra is divine with the homemade ranch or chimimayo! read more

Met some friends here about a month ago and damn, was the food amazing! Rustic setting with big booths. We all got a different burger and they were all spectacular. The onion straws were some of the best I have ever had. The fried okra (whole) was spectacular, considering I don't particularly care for okra. Burgers cooked to perfection. Loved the pickles they use, called half-sours. I have to go find these. Our server was Joe (easy for me to remember his name) and he was great. eager to answer questions, knowledgeable about the menu. The only bad thing about this place....its over an hour from my house, otherwise I would eat here on a weekly basis. read more

Cozy country setting. A long wait time, so I sat at the bar since there were available seats. The service was excellent and so was the food. Prices are reasonable. read more

Fast service. Food is always consistent and great! Great beer choices as well. Has quickly become my favorite restaurant downtown

This has been our go-to place for lunch meetings for several years. The food is always great with salads and the best burgers. The service is consistently friendly and attentive. Today, the host was extremely rude as we entered. My co-worker and I were meeting a rep from a new unfamiliar company. If it had just me and my co-worker, we would have left and gone to another restaurant. I was embarrassed in front of the rep and shocked. read more

One long road trip home from Louisiana saw the reviews decided to take the detour for some dinner and I much needed stretch . Loved the laid back vibe, were seated almost immediately. Super friendly server. I can't remember her name but cute blonde girl. We ordered burgers and onion rings , I can say I ate every bite of my burger to the point I didn't touch my side of fries. Truly superb. If this were near my home I would be a weekly regular. Most looked like regulars I noticed it was packed too. Do yourself a favor make the detour it's worth it read more

My friends and I found ourselves in Newnan at lunchtime and decided to tray Meat 'n Greet. What a fabulous gem! It's clearly very popular as it was packed but we didn't have to wait too long for a table. The space is very cute and comfortable . . . exposed brick walls, booths, and high tops. They have a nice bar and the bartenders were super busy, even during a weekday lunch! Service was warm, friendly, and professional. Our server made some great recommendations and our lunches were fabulous. Two of us enjoyed the High West burger, which was delicious. We also loved the fried okra with the dipping sauces. The other two people in our party had salads, which they loved as well. If you live near Newnan, this is a great dining option. read more

Okay... Oh-KAY! ATTENTION ALL CELIACS!! I was working in Newnan for the day and searched "gluten-free restaurants" in Yelp. Meat 'n Greet popped up #1 (from my original location). The patrons before me gave it glowing reviews and recommendations, so I thought I'd eat locally before driving back home to Alabama. Tommy greeted me warmly and seated me in a booth. April is my server. After much study and research and questioning to ensure I would have a safe and savory dining experience, I decided on the Mock-A-Rita mocktail (it IS 100% gluten-free, y'all)... the first sip literally sent me to Yelp to start writing this review. It is THAT amazing!! With April's patience and guidance, I ordered a basic "textbook" turkey burger with goat cheese on a gluten-free bun accompanied by a baked sweet potato with butter and cinnamon sugar. As I sip on this incredible mocktail, I am imagining how delicious the meal will be... wait for it... ...that didn't take long at all!! Everything looks savory! ...I'm going in!! Yup. Delicious. Good call. The turkey burger is cooked to perfection as was the baked sweet potato. And while they gave me a gracious plenty of cinnamon sugar mix, I only needed less than half. I knew it was a good sign when I sat down at this booth and "Sara Smile" by Hall & Oats started playing in the background... ...I was listening to "Sara Smile" by Mr. David as I parked my car in front of the door (and street parking is free, y'all). Coincidental? With alllllllll the music there is out there in the world???! I think not. That was divine confirmation! (Thank you, Jesus!) I said I wanted to find something GOOD to eat while I was in Newnan... I may have to swing back through here on purpose the next time I'm passing through on I-85! ...You should, too! read more

This was one of the best places we have eaten in awhile. Loved the atmosphere and all the staff was super nice and friendly. I would come back again! SERVICE: We were immediately seated at a clean booth, and the staff constantly checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed and that water was filled. Super sweet and kind people working here. AMBIANCE: Super busy and family meal oriented! FOOD: One-eyed Willie with Onion tangles and chips: (8.5/10) I think the burger patty needed a little bit more seasoning for me because it was sort of dense and one note. The burger also had a sweet tomato paste which isn't my jam, but overall it was a solid filling lunch burger! The onion tangles definitely hit the spot, with just the right amount of saltiness. The chips were a really good texture contrast, being super crunchy (a little Cajun seasoning wouldn't hurt though)! I recommend this burger! read more
