The gyro salad was excellent and a perfect portion for a fair price. Kind of a unicorn these days! Service was excellent, very kind and attentive. I love the atmosphere in a well kept old house, well appointed. It just makes you feel at home! No polished concrete floors and metal chairs. I love this place. Everytime I come I'm instantly welcomed with friendly faces. Good, reliable food (I love the beignets and blueberry pancakes). We had breakfast here with my kids and mother. Traditional, straightforward cafe that delivers on quality. Basically southern diner food. The ambiance is great - seating is either on the big front porch or in one of the rooms of what was once a large home. Staff is extremely friendly, and food comes out quickly. Our waiter was extremely friendly. She welcomed us promptly and did a very good job of checking up and making sure that we were OK. Space was also very cute. We sat out on the patio and it was a beautiful day so that part was pretty awesome. The food was just OK. There is home cooking...and there is something that I might've cooked at home. The food definitely fell into the realm of something that I might've cooked at home. Seeing how I'm not that great of a cook...errr...You know! It was serviceable and fine. Yelp sent us to Christy's for pancakes as hubby requested. We were among first to arrive at opening. The restaurant was warm and staff also. Ready to serve like family. Hubby loved his blueberry pancakes and my skillet was great. This little home cafe is permanently on our list. Worth the detour off Hwy for breakfast and a Bit of TLC. We will return. read more

Eggs, omelets plain or fancy. Grits with cheese or not if it pleases you Nancy! Coffee or tea or juices, too. I was visiting Newnan and was totally blown away by how delicious their French Toast is! Went out for breakfast and decided to try Christy's Cafe. The place was charming. Our waitress was sweet and friendly and gave some great suggestions from the menu. Hubby got a skillet bowl and loved it, and I got the pancakes with eggs and hash and it was so good too! The only downside was the parking, had to circle a few times until we found a spot. read more

We love going to Christy's and sitting outside. The owner Christy is a lovely person and her family are her employees. We enjoy coming here because they are welcoming and the food is good and traditional breakfast. I really wish they'd serve crepes! Great coffee! When they are really busy, they have a self-serve coffee station on the porch for you- which is so awesome! Nobody else does this! Definitely recommend! I love the location- only 5 mins from our house. Parking hasn't been an issue, there's a parking lot right beside the restaurant as well. read more

Very nice family run small dinner, staged inside of an old house in historic downtown Newnan Georgia. Christy's Café is a mixed of art gallery and dinner. The food was nothing particularly spectacular, but not bad either. Service was a little slow they were overwhelmed, however, made up for in friendliness an attitude. We thought we would try something off the beaten path, so searching Yelp we decided to try Christy's. The small town feel was nice and the location was nostalgic. The wait was not bad and the hostess was very welcoming. Our waitress must have been having an off day, we couldn't get our coffee refilled and we seemed rushed even though their was not a wait for tables. The food was good but you could make the same at home. The prices were not bad, the waitress was the deciding factor and again anyone can have an off day. First let me start by saying that the food is delicious, and the servers are very friendly, atmosphere is great. But the hostess is very mean and can have a nasty attitude. She tells everyone that the wait is an hour when sometimes you can look around and see empty tables. She needs to work on her people skills and her scheduling. read more

A very good eggs Benedict. Which I think is a good way of grading a restaurant, overall, on food preparation. Because it's not the easiest thing to, have the soft boiled egg cooked perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce on point. I ordered with bacon, not Canadian ham. I would have preferred the cheese grits to be more than just shredded cheese laying on top of regular grits. Others ordered omelets, skillets, home fries, pancakes... I believe they said the skillets and omelets were slightly overdone. A nice, general breakfast place that we would do again if in town. read more

The food is very mediocre. My husband ordered extra crispy bacon and it came out like regular bacon. The server was sweet as can be, but she did take a while getting a few things for us.
