I've been coming to this salon for a few years now & love it. Anna, David, Jenny, & Patrick are amazing people & so nice. They are so friendly & kind. I absolutely love the service & attention to detail they provide. I've even had a "pedi-party" a couple times with friends there. Today Anna went above & beyond for me. I wasn't feeling well all of a sudden & had to lay down. Once I recovered, Anna drove me home, with David following behind, to make sure I got home safely. She's a real angel!

OBSESSED with my new rose gold nails by Anna!! She is the BEST in the business. I have only recently started coming back to get my nails done because of COVID, and I'm so glad that I did. Anna is taking all the precautions and safety measures. There is a barrier up between me and her, and only 1 other customer at a time in the salon. I felt very safe and protected being there. I'm more exposed at the grocery store than with Anna. HIGHLY recommend. Would update and give her 10 starts if I could!!
I recommend Whimsical nails, the environment is very relaxing but I especially recommend my foot therapist Phoenix. She did an amazing job after a stressful day at work. She has therapeutic hands so if you're looking to unwind you really need to stop in. Ask for Phuong/Phoenix she will melt all your stress away. God bless you Phuong.
I started going to Ana and her friendly team at Whimsical nails when the nail salon I had been going to was not clean anymore. Whimsical nails is kept very clean. I love chatting with all of them as they give me my mani pedi. They are very caring and remember everyone who walks in and greet them. They do a great job on my manicures and pedicures. My grand daughter loves joining me. She says likes my nail salon better than her mom's because they're so nice. If I hadn't visited In a while, Ana has called to make sure I was okay and when I will come in. Very sweet people. Always accommodating if I need to come in on short notice.
I have finally found my nail place around the PV Mall area! With the #2 pedicure, you get 3 leg massages, and with the massage chairs, I almost fell asleep! Jenny & Patrick gave my boyfriend & I an AWESOME pedicure, and David gave me an AWESOME manicure! We HIGHLY recommend!!!
I was a walk in. Seated me quickly for my gel polish removal. Waited for a bit and two other people worked on my nails. It was like they were tag teaming different sections. Works for me. They look great.
I usually go to TP Nails and Spa, but felt like trying something else out just for fun, I ended up at Whimsical Nails. When I arrived, the place was completely empty (this was the first sign). The guy at the front was eager to get me in a seat, he was super nice and helpful. I was handed off the the nail tech, showed her the image of what I wanted. (something very simple). She nodded and began. As we were going through, the nails seemed to be different lengths and the acrylic was HEAVY and bulky. I was watching and see was putting multiple coats of acrylic. I had asked her if this would eventually be filed down to look nice and then, she replied with "Later" after finishing my first hand, I just HAD to ask again because the whole "trust the process" was out the window. "This will all be shaved down right?" she replied with, "Yesss, is this your first time?" in a voice that seemed as if she was annoyed. I hesitated but answered her question with, "This is my first time here but not my first time getting this exact set". A few seconds later, she asked me where I was from. Which seemed very unusual to me. It felt like her question meant something else (iykyk). I said, Michigan. Even though I have been living in Arizona for the last 6 years. I texted my mom (who I had been texting since I walked in) and I was asking if I was losing my mind or if this was actually wrong. Yes I could have asked her to stop and gotten up, but I was hoping this was just her technique and it would look better in the end. After the acrylic was on both hands she began filing and shaving, she had shaved some of the unnecessary acrylic she had placed on my nail off but it was still big and bulky. I had asked her if she could make them thinner and possibly more of a square. she proceeded to tell me that if she made it any thinner it would break. (which was not true, i have always had my nails "thin" and they lasted very long. I also didn't expect them to be paper thin but at least thinner than what they were.) I went to the picture and showed her the image again, she said "Yes, those are thick look at it". (you guys let me know if I am crazy. compare the two pictures). Once we were finished I still thanked her and tipped for her time and my "complaining" I guess. But I was very upset with the outcome and soaked them off once I got home. This was not a great experience for me and unfortunately I will never go there again. I will 102% stick with TP Nails & Spa! They are very comforting people who listen, understand, and give you exactly what you ask for and not what THEY want to do.
I liked this shop because they were able to get me in immediately, no wait at all. The nail tech who did my nails was David. He did exactly what I wanted and was professional. The only down fall is that the shop is dirty and the bottles of polish are questionable due to the lack of cleanliness. Over all I have no complaints regarding my nails.
My go to place. I love that they always do a great job. Today I asked for something a little extra special for my upcoming Disney trip. It turned out so cute and I'm so excited.
If I could give 1 million stars, I would. Anna, David, and the entire staff have always been nothing but professional each and every time I have come in. I've made appointments, and I've also done walk ins, and every time they are accommodating. I of course am always flexible as well because they all work extremely hard and have busy lives and families outside of the salon. I absolutely love this salon and will never go anywhere else, thank you all for your amazing service!
I recently moved to Phoenix and began searching for a new nail salon. I stumbled upon this gem and haven't looked back! Everyone there is so kind and the nail designs are perfection!!

Anna did an excellent job on my daughters acrylic nails! She is wonderful with design and was very friendly and sweet!! Patrick did an amazing job on my pedicure. He took his time and didn't rush. This place is also reasonable priced! I will definitely be back! read more

I waited a week to update this because I wanted to ensure that my nails would last. I'm happy that Anna fixed my nails for me and I still have all of them and none feel like they are about to fall off. I even accidentally banged one of my fingers at work and didn't lose the nail. They are still very strong. Thank you Anna for fixing my nails and giving me very pretty Disney nails. read more

I have been coming here since 2011 I loooooove this place. Always clean, staff polite and happy. Anna has been doing my nails all this time and she's amazing. Very attentive to detail and precise. These pictures are a COUPLE OF WEEKS OLD, but look how intact they still are. No chips still full of shine. And I am still getting tons of complements on them Color: Lincoln park after dark. Just finished getting a Full Set & a Pedicure at Whimsical Nails, I love the finished product, they did a very very good job - exactly what I wanted. They were also very friendly and respectful and made sure that I was comfortable/ satisfied the entire time I was there. My girlfriend and her two daughters have been going to Ana for many many years and I get to have a pedicure on occasion. Ana David and the whole team at Whimsical Nails are always courteous and professional and do a quality job for a reasonable price. My girlfriend had an issue once with an ingrown nail and they saw her immediately to take care of it at no cost. I would recommend them. She has been going to Ana for over ten years so I know she would recommend them whole heartedly. They are a small local family owned business and I would urge you to give them a try. read more

As a first time customer I was very impressed. Anna did my nails and she was absolutely amazing. She was very professional and kind. She removed my old acrylics and applied new acrylics without tips. Anna allowed me to zelle her money which was very convenient for me and made it very easy to tip, as I am someone who doesnt like to carry cash. Needless to say I found my new favorite nail salon and will be back when my nails need to be redone! read more
