Veggie burger

Everything was really fresh and tasted good. Only complaint is that the veggie burger was pretty mushy and fell apart. Other than that the place is very nice inside and so are the people.

Farm Plate with Chicken

I haven't written a review on yelp in a while. Probably because I've been lazy to be honest. So I've stumbled upon this food place because I was working onsite. On my lunch break I went to go check this place out. In the reviews it said that it was difficult to find which I actually had a bit trouble finding until I had to ask someone who kindly pointed it out. Once I found it, I was so excited to try it out. I love eating healthy so all the food items on the menu looked very tasty and of course healthy! Their food is also locally sourced!. The ambiance of the place was very nice, I can see myself coming here everyday to do work and staying for hours because they serve breakfast and lunch. They have a large menu of coffee options which includes flat whites (my favorite). Now for the best part, the food. I ordered the farm plate with chicken which included local greens, chilled quinoa, chicken and green sauce. I really loved it! The chicken was cooked right imo, it was well seasoned and cooked to the point where it's not dry. The veggies were good especially when I added the sauce. The quinoa tasted refreshing! I also ordered a 12oz black Sumatra drip coffee which I also really liked! It's my bedtime right now I usually sleep at 9 lol but I felt the need to go out my way tonight and make this review because I loved the food! Also, there's an Asian food market next to this place which I loved as well. I definitely recommend this food spot to anyone around the area!

An elusive hidden gem farm to table restaurant that prides itself on organic ingredients, sourced from its farm in Jersey and what can't be brought in from other reliable organic sources. They say you can even volunteer on their farm! A simple breakfast but filling one made with integrity! Owners super chill & friendly, the attendant lady was kind & answered my curiosity questions lol and the space is super kewllll Would lalaaaave to go back for a meal & stock up on those GF BROWNIES!!

#AfterWeLawyerWeEat 15-Hour Slow Roasted Beef, Egg, and Cheese on Sourdough with a Side of Potatoes. Peanut Butter Smoothie with Raw Cacao and Chocolate Protein. Open Water in a Can. #FirstTimerAlert The Whealth Kitchen (Pavonia Avenue, Jersey City, NJ). Delicious and nutritious. Cool vibe, good music. Great recommendations. Check it out!

Berry blast smoothie
Sarah G.

I only tried the smoothie here but unfortunately I cannot vouch for it. I got the berry blast smoothie pictured here, and the ingredients were listed as fruit and yogurt. However it was not sweet at all, in the way you would expect fruit to be naturally a little bit sweet. I really do not know how to describe the taste other than it did not taste like a smoothie. Another friend also tried it and agreed that it tasted extremely off. I am definitely open to trying their other products when I am back in the area! It looked like they had a good gluten free selection.

Chicken salad sandwich

Really lovely little spot for lunch or a quick bite. I'm not a chicken salad fan, but reading the menu over it just spoke to me. And I'm incredibly happy with my decision. The bun is light yet crispy, the chicken is paired with all the right flavors and there's not too much creaminess (that's always my biggest fear). Most important is the lovely staff. The gentleman who checked me rung me up was quick and efficient while still walking me through their rewards program. The same guy brought the sandwich out when it was ready and was very concerned with whether I had the right silverware, napkins and a water. When I finished there was already somebody coming by the clear the dishes. I was expecting a completely self service experience and they went above and beyond.

three bags of food on a table

This place is hard to find. They almost don't want you to find the spot that is how hidden it is and there is no sign from the street. I'm sure the locals know about it though since it seemed like they were getting a few orders. They have a small menu with some lunch specials. The bbq chicken special with a few veggies and sides was my go to. It also seems like they are going the healthier route here. People love eating healthy these days. They also have peanut butter energy balls and protein brownies. It is one of those places that have their core regulars that I am sure love it. This wouldn't be a weekly place for me but it does do the trick. Try it out!

Gross chicken soup

Lady at the cash register with the round glasses was pretty rude. Maybe she was having a bad day? I was in Journal sq meeting a client and this seemed like the only nutritious option in the area. I ordered the soup and It may be the worst soup i've ever had. It was 70% onions, carrots, chicken and I think water because it doesn't taste like broth. It didn't seem to have any spices at all. I threw it out. Not quite sure why they would offer something with so much onion in a corporate area.

Sooooo so good. Decided to grab some lunch on the go from here on my way home. Got the Whealth bowl. It tasted so so so good. I was not expecting any of the flavors at all and they just tasted remarkable. Highly recommend. Such a cute place tucked away in the JSQ area. They also serve coffee/açaí/smoothies. Excited to definitely come back and try more of their stuff!

Bacon, egg and cheese on a roll with a cortado.

Cool spot. A little small but it wasn't busy at all so we were able to get a tee able without any issues. I had a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll and my wife had the Anne. Both we very good however I didn't care for the turkey sausage on the Anne. The coffee was delicious too. Overall this place has a great vibe and looks very nice.

My husband and I went to Whealth today. We were pleasantly surprised by how friendly the owner was. He immediately welcomed us and started a friendly conversation. We ordered breakfast sandwiches were delicious, the cold brew was strong just line we like it and the cookies and brownies we got were amazing. We'll definitely be back! The only downside, the lighting! We initially thought they were closed and almost walked away until my husband tried the door!

Daily changing treats
Karl D.

The only spot where I am daily. Perfect start into the day, located on the PATH Station. The pricing is more than reasonable considering the quality of the food, the clean, open kitchen and the ecological supplychainmanagement. The staff is friendly and remember not just your name but you as a person. I feel valued here, both as a very demanding customer and as a friend of the family. The Menu contains the must-haves for a breakfast aswell as changing daily specials and sweet, homemade treats. The music is varying depending on who is in charge. Although it is vivid and changing therefore, it is never too loud, inappropiate or too hipster. In fact they have a very good music taste imho. Get yourself in there and get to know the team and the place. It is a welcomed alternative to the unpersonal chains, both in food & drink quality and in staff & ambiance.

Right when you walk in, you'll be offered a ginger shot with a chaser. The ginger shot may feel a little hot and spicy but the chaser fixes that pretty well. I ended up getting the palisades and paterson plank smoothies this time around but I definitely want to try other juices and smoothies! They have a large variety and make it fresh. In addition to smoothies, they also sell cupcakes from a local baker. They seem unassuming but they are delicious! I tried the sweet potato and carrot cupcakes. Odd flavors but they're so flavorful! After finding out about this market on Instagram, I decided to swing by during the Journal Square…read morefestival. I can confidently say in terms of selection, this market is a winner. Food Story is your typical Korean market. - if you have been to H-Mart, Mitsuwa, or Ranch99 it's the same style and layout with many authentic Asian groceries sourced from overseas and a food court for fresh Korean and Japanese dishes like ready-to-eat Korean fried chicken, poke bowls, and sushi. To my surprise, they have a wide selection of Japanese foods, more so than HMarts. And they have Korean-style thin-cut frozen meats in a fridge near the rice section - but they don't have a butcher section, so temper your expectations. Although most of the groceries here are relatively expensive, their prices are mostly on par with regular prices at many Asian markets. But, other markets offer far better weekly sales - Food Story doesn't have a circular or website, so it seems they dont offer sales. I did however find some special discounted prices for random items throughout the aisles. One downside that stood up is that many of the price labels were misorganized and placed under the wrong items. So, take care to match the UPC or you may have a bad experience with the cashier at checkout (something that I saw some other reviewers complain about). Overall, Food Story is a solid addition to the neighborhood - a convenient, albeit pricey, option for Aisan good lovers.

Look I want this place to fix the problems because it's one of the only grocery stores in the area…read more However, in the last two years I have seen countless expired food items.
