Don't plug the mobile ordering system at the drive thru when every single time I use it you guys always act confused when we make it to the window. Got asked to pull around and wait on our food they hadn't even started on yet, despite ordering 20 minutes ahead of time on the app. They brought it out finally and forgot my bbq sauce that they charge extra for. So I live in Los Angeles and happened across this Whataburger for dinner tonight. What an awesome burger! The fries were hot and the coke carbonated just right. Way better than McDonald's. The reason I am really leaving this review though is that I was so impressed with the staff. Especially how engaged the manager Jim was with his staff and myself. I asked him about the origin of Whataburger and why they are not in LA. He was more than happy to stop what he was doing briefly to tell me all about the company. Everyone was smiling, working diligently, and in fact one of them is cleaning the tables on the other side of the restaurant as I type. I hope I get a Whataburger by my house one day soon. read more

my dad and i ordered food to go, we placed the order inside and waited. i ordered first and his came out before mine, albeit after 30+ minutes. Asked about mine and they couldnt figure out where it was and apparently they never made it so they had to take my reciept to figure out what to do. Then after waiting for 15+ more minutes they come out hollering "remake" with just the burger so i told them i hadnt even got my order in the first place and i had the combo so i had to wait even longer just for them to finish everything. every single time i have ordered at a whataburger the last year ive had issues. I used to love them but I have to admit I'd recommend just avoiding them at this point. It's just not worth the hassle. read more

Went there several times in mid October for breakfast. Coffee dispenser was sitting on the counter without a stand on the first visit, and the coffee was tepid. The other visits the same, but the coffee was stone cold. Taquito was okay the first day, but slopped together days two on. It's not 2am yet, so bad things are not supposed to happen. The drivethru had a bit of a line and was moving. We went in and were able to order very quickly, but waited for quite awhile. Once we got the food, we tasted the fries on the way out and they were cold, hard, and just plain old. We went back in and asked for new fries as ours were old. The manager was there and said sure. The kid on the register took our fries, threw them out, felt the fry contaniers on the stand and grabbed the "warmest" box. We didn't even bother. We could tell they weren't even going to bother either so we left. We got home, hoping our burgers were better...not sure why we bothered again. The bun was cold and crunchy, the burger was dry and cold, thus it was premade and had been sitting out to be assembled. From what I have been told, Whataburger is supposed to be really good and they are busy through the night. If so, their food should not have been that old even if it was ready to be assembled. Management should have adjusted for the customer flow. I am not sure about the food times, but they were definitely past expiration. read more

I am a huge burger fan, so of course I had to be sure to try out Oklahoma's fast food burger chain while I was out here. We do not have these out on the West coast, and I have heard about it, so I was actually pretty excited to try it. I got a hamburger combo, which was really well priced (about $6 for a burger that is pretty big based on fast food standards, order of fries, and a huge drink). The burger wasn't anything too special or amazing. I was disappointed because my burger was room temperature since it took them a while to make the fries. I was staying just 5 minutes away from here, so it really shouldn't have gotten cold that fast. If I had eaten at the actual restaurant, I would have complained. I was not impressed. After being sheltered at home for 4 weeks and only briefly getting out once a week to get essentials (groceries), I had to be in Tulsa this morning for a few in-and-out errands. It was about 9am and I was hungry for something somebody else has prepared besides my usual at home. I thought about Chimera (too expensive), McDonald's (meh), and then, being around 15th and Peoria, I decided to try the Breakfast Platter which comes with a heap of scrambled eggs, biscut, 3 crispy strips of bacon and 4 potato whatevers. With a medium Diet Coke it came to $5.25. It was pretty much exactly what I was looking for and very tasty. Of course I had to eat it in my car (in the empty parking lot of the ex-Chinese restaurant next door). All-in-all, I coulda done a lot worse. I did wear my mask at the drive thru, though the pleasant staff person didn't have a mask on. He did have on gloves. I thought about holding off and hitting up one of my favorite places on Cherry Street, but after seeing all the work being done, didn't want to hassle with that. Although I am an Okie, born and raised, I have never been to a Whataburger before today! This Whataburger has a very convenient location to downtown Tulsa. The dining area was very clean and the staff was extra friendly. We ordered to-go and our meals were ready within 5 minutes. I was very impressed with the service and cleanliness at this restaurant. However, the parking lot can get very full, very fast. The food was great as well. The burger was really good and well-cooked. The fries were perfect. They also have really delicious breakfast. The pricing was fair as well. I got a burger, fries, and a drink for less than $5....about the same as McDonalds or Wendys, but way better food! I really enjoyed Whataburger and I know I will be going back for many more lunches! read more

I've been eating at this Whataburger for over 15 years, though sometimes it might be a year or two before I make it back. In all those years I don't think anything has changed, but I have. When I first started eating there it was the cheapest place open at 2:00 a.m. and the food and service was good. Now that I'm getting older I find that the food is just as good and the service is better than any fast food joint in the area. Granted I don't frequent fast food joints that often, but when I've got to grab a meal fast and want it done right I know Whataburger will fulfill my needs. And the best part is the staff always takes care of everyone who walks in the door! That's something I can't say about any other chain fast food place in the area. read more

Whataburger is pretty cool spot for being open late evenings. In contrast with In and Out here in California, they are pretty comparable, aside from In and Out is less oily however I think!! Whataburger additionally offers a bigger menu particularly with their sweet. Our burgers were prepared in an opportune way, great and sensibly evaluated. That portion of the feast was a fair 4 stars alone, yet it was the client support that truly stuck out! They were excessively pleasant. They truly clarified in insight concerning what their burger was about and how it would possess a flavor like! Thankfully this place lost one of the managers of whom I observed picking his nose behind the counter...He was actually wrapping the food after the cook made it...I promptly asked for a refund and when the cashier asked me why a I told her that her boss was back their digging boogers...she offered to wash her hands and go back there and remake it...I told her no thanks got my money and split....I've been back since then and that guy was gone they also renovated the lobby....I would have given more stars but the jury is still out on this place... read more

My experience with this establishment was utterly outrageous. I ordered a simple patty melt with fries there was no one else here. I sat and watched my patty melt sit on the counter for ten minutes all they had to do was give me fries it took them that long. Outrageous. Whataburger.. what I can I say? I've grown up on Whataburger Wednesdays and the most tasty burgers in the midwest. Its reputation precedes it, and for that reason, I am all the more disappointed in the 15th and Peoria location. The last three visits have been abysmal, from wrong orders to missing items to cold food, after today, I have sworn them off for good at this location. I will drive to Tulsa Hills or 56th and Sheridan from downtown before going back to this establishment. While they seem to have nice staff, there is something missing in food preparation. Ask for 3 piece chicken strips? Get three chicken nuggets for the same price. Go in the middle of the lunch rush? Food is somehow cold. Ask for barbecue? Receive ketchup. Order a small iced tea? Get charged for a large iced tea with a few ice cubes sloshing around in a warm tea. Email corporate about a bad experience? Be asked to call directly to the manager of the store rather than a simple coupon for a terrible meal. I am by no means a difficult customer, although this might read like it. I make a simple order and expect a simple result. It would be nice if staff would treat their customers as though they were the ones ordering the food. If you work tirelessly working all day and decided to spend hard earned money to treat yourself to lunch, would you want hard and cold food? I'd like to think not. 1 star. read more
