Junior #25 Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit

This whataburger sucks. Never come here. It took 35+ minutes to get a junior burger just for them to get it wrong. I asked for a refund and all the employees were giving me dirty looks. Do not recommend this place.

Waited 30 minutes for food and it still hasn't arrived. Now I'm going to be late getting back to work.

I am not much into fast food and I found ordering and asking for each item on it tedious.

Well this is the second time eating Whataburger since I'm from Chicago now that my parents live in San Antonio I haven't had lunch and I haven't had a hamburger and this is Texas's best hamburger chain and it was near my parents new house since they left Chicago since last year. I'm eating lunch and this is all I could afford since my collision and before I head off to the Alamo in my vacation in San Antonio Texas and I head back to Old Chicago Illinois. In regards to the service it was pretty fast but beware of one of the employees was really short but was friendly. In regards to the fries I feel like it's like McDonald's but not as stale in regards to having that more than a day if you don't eat those fries it's not going to be any good cuz they're thin cut. I am now going to eat their burger and I had the double beef with one cheese Whataburger. It's good. It reminds me of a Rally's or checker burger up north in Chicago when they were popular. Service was kind of interesting in regards to that the I think the manager asked how everything was you never get that that up in the north and it's just a fast food franchise. Other than that it's okay good. Ambience was busy and typical of a fast food joint nothing extraordinary

Pretty slow to bring out your food compared to other Whataburgers I go to. It was crowded but I had a bunless burger so should be faster to prepare?? Looked good when it arrived but some of the lettuce looked bad. I would visit again as my food, minus the bad lettuce was very good.

The parking lot is clean and the employees are great. The lobby was spotless as well. Our food was made to order, very delicious and was brought to our table. The restaurant was inviting, and relaxing.

    Used jelly - how careless!!!

Just disappointed that my breakfast was ruined by someone's carelessness. How is it even possible to make this mistake? I've been eating here for years and the last thing I wanted to do was leave a bad review. Unrelated complaint ... be sure that you wipe down drinks before you hand them to people and also be sure the lid is on tight. Do better!!! Edit: just to be clear ... one of the packets was opened and empty. All the packets were sticky and disgusting.

Service is always mid. They take forever. Food is meh. Haven't been inside but I probably won't go. Usually get the order wrong so double check. And their milkshake machine is usually "broken"

Careless how they make the food, just not the same anymore, the worst place now I travel to Whataburger on broadway they can take care their customers. I ask several time to make it correctly and put mustard on BOTTOM bun. It doesn't taste the same when already mix. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NOT GO HERE, unless your basic

The chicken is seasoned all the way through not just on the outside. You can tell this is not an afterthought spice situation. If you want flavor without heat you can get it. If you want heat with flavor pick spicy. We did. It is the sweet spot for anyone who knows their way around spice. The tenders taste like they were marinated because the flavor is built in. I am a pickle in every bite kind of person and these pickles understand the assignment. They cut the richness and bring balance to every bite. The bread deserves its own moment. It reminds me of a Hawaiian roll but less sweet and more savory which works beautifully here. Do not skip the honey drizzle. It sounds optional but it is not. The honey with the salty spicy chicken is the move. The space itself is a whole vibe. Bold graffiti art with San Antonio touches gives it local personality. The place was buzzing with energy and groups of teens which tells you it is doing something right. We will definitely be back.

The flavor is def different and it's seasoned to perfection and it's 100% beef ! I like to add ranch to my burger and the ranch is muddy , in between thick and creamy . The lady at the counter was nice and when we ordered the burgers she asked if we wanted everything on it. I always appreciate when they ask that because sometimes I forget to say I don't want mustard or pickles. The food was alright, almost down right bad. Not at all close to good. The fries and onion rings were a let down, the fries had a weird after taste and it wasn't seasoning because they weren't seasoned or salted at all. The onion rings weren't season or salted at all, basically fried onions but no salt. The milkshake was not good. Did not taste like typical chocolate, not sure what they could've used because it doesn't take like a syrup or ice cream I've had before. Lastly, the sweet tea was so strong that all the ratios were wrong. Tea,water and sugar all wrong proportions because it tasted like very strong black tea with little amount of sugar. The only saving grace was the chili cheese dog, but nothing special about it, literally hot dug bun, hotdog, chili and very little cheese. Will not be coming back unfortunately. I feel almost disgusted and gagged by what I ate.

We did not expect it to be within the old neighborhood of San Antonio, nor on the corner of a gas station. But as we got out, I started to understand why this place was truly loved. They have discounts for veterans, students, and a couple more groups of people I can't remember off the top of my head. They aim to serve their community within the area, offering multiple specials, and opportunities to make their food affordable. It's cheap, sure, but is it worth the wait? I'd say so. We may not have gotten our food under 30 minutes, but by god was it fresh. The lemonade was sweet and representative of a family reunion cook out. If the quality of what they served wasn't indicative of the amount of people that parked and walked up to order some food, it would be my order of catfish nuggets with their sauce, fries, and their large lemonade. They serve catfish, tilapia, and chicken as you'd expect. You can get poppers (also great) and multiple sides, but I say all of this with praise that with your chicken, your fish - it comes with fries. Best part about waiting was observing the community and watching FIFA. Just be sure you pay attention to the area. Highly recommend, though be decent unless provoked, and watch out for the unsavory types looking at your cars. We had one rando walk out and then walk back to their car after doing so to ours... overall, very interesting, and worth their prices. Staff was friendly, and the food was delicious.

That's how I ended up trying Anthony Fish & Chicken, and honestly it turned out better than expected. The restaurant is located on the east side of San Antonio, which happens to be the area I grew up in. Some people who aren't familiar with the area might consider it a little rough, but in my experience those neighborhoods often have some of the best food in the city. I called in my order and was quoted about 25 minutes. It took a little longer than that, but it wasn't a problem. When I pulled up there were a grip of cars waiting for food, so clearly the place stays busy. One thing to know if it's your first time: if you don't call ahead, you order at the window. I accidentally tried going inside at first and was told they were serving through the window only, which was fair enough. I ordered the 15-piece lemon pepper chicken, which came with fries and two slices of bread. We also grabbed steak nachos at the last minute, and those didn't even make it home because they got demolished in the car. They were loaded with toppings and I'm pretty sure they used Doritos for the chips, which added extra flavor. The chicken itself was excellent. Crispy, fresh, and clearly made to order. The legs and thighs were seasoned well and the portion size was generous. A 15-piece could easily feed a small family of three or four. Between the nachos and a couple sides we made at home, it actually ended up feeding five people comfortably. The crinkle cut fries were also solid and had a nice seasoning on them, and the hot sauce they give with the chicken paired really well. When I arrived there were a grip of cars waiting, and after trying the food I understand why. Compared to my number one fried chicken spot, Chatman's Chicken, this place honestly holds its own. The chicken here is crispy, fresh, and flavorful all the way through. Another thing I appreciated was the value. I've seen places around San Antonio charging close to $20 for a simple three-piece meal, and the food doesn't even come close to this quality. Here the portions and price felt much more reasonable. Anthony's definitely has something going on. They have a solid menu with plenty of combos and options for a good price. Next time I'll probably try the wings because they looked great coming out of the kitchen. Overall this spot definitely satisfied my fried chicken craving. I'll be back again.
