Great tasting burgers, made fresh to order with a limited menu which makes it easy to decide. 1, 2, 3 or 4 patties, with or without cheese, with mustard, pickles onion. Or you can get a chicken sandwich. Easy Friendly and efficient counter service, and fast. Cute little restaurant like any other burger joint. I can see how this could get crowded after a ball game nearby. read more

I had never been to a Burger Boy. Someone recently mentioned to me when I told them I was headed to San Antonio, so, I figured I would check it out I was impressed by the exterior design and decor. Flashing lights and inviting colors that beckon you in. Also, there was a drive-thru line wrapped around the building The interior was relatively clean. Again, vibrant colors, and a neat light fixture towards the entrance. There's a menu hung behind the counter where you order. Also, there is Burger Boy merchandise at the front The staff welcomed me, which was nice. I then had to wait until an attendant could come to the front to help me. While the menu isn't particularly extensive, the prices are very reasonable. I wanted to dine-in, but I was given all my food to-go The food was mid. The corn dog was actually very good, but it's difficult to mess up. The fries lacked flavor, and looked rather sad, the triple boy burger wasn't the least bit tasty to me. It tasted more like the grill than a burger or any other components. I wish there was a secret sauce or something, but it was dry. I saw that they were promoting the peppermint shake online so I inquired about it, but they looked at me like I was crazy, and said they don't serve that. The new Nutterbutter was pretty good. Again, I wish it had more flavor. The coconut shake on the other hand had flavor Some tips: If you want a flavorful burger consider going to another spot, but again, the prices and ambiance are solid. The shakes weren't bad. And the corn dog was good Cheers! read more

From what I've seen everyone knows about Burger Boy. I'm late to the party. Boy am I late! This place is TASTY! Good burgers, BUT . . . They have crinkle fries!!!!! Trust me when I state that GenX has a thing for truly good crinkle fries!!! This place took me so far back! ‍ I will drive to this location just for them. Oh & now they have a churro shake. Gotta try that too. Their prices are really great. I got a bacon cheeseburger with jalepeños, fries & a soda for just at $9. Better than most places now, & the burger was a good size. I will be sure to get a photo next time. I was 22 hours fasting hungry. read more

I'm not sure why but this location has consistently served burgers that are NOT hot, greasy, and on occasion the fries too. They used to which is why I kept hope alive to go back but definitely not going to return after this last disappointment. It's conveniently located near McCreless but there's other options for burgers that are served hot. The service is very nice and inside lobby is clean and in good condition. read more

I wanna give a quick shoutout and good word about the workers. We went to burger boy about 45 minutes before they close to grab some food, and it was my sister's birthday. They were so nice to shout her a happy birthday, and not only that they went above and beyond to give her a complimentary shake on the house. They were so nice, especially the two guys at the drive thru. Especially considering the hours, so I really appreciate them! read more

Check y'all's order. It be more wrong than right. it's really inconvenient. I placed an order thru the app, I recieved it. A whole chicKen sandwich, was missing, my burger was made wrong. I guess I should've checked it beforehand, but it's not my job to do that. The food is good( it's Burger Boy) but the amount of times they've gotten my order wrong, it's really annoying. read more

Lindsay is as amazing. She took my order quick. Recommended some add ones. The food was hot and fresh!

We were looking for a quick drive through other than your normal fast food locations. The burgers are made to order, but the service was super quick and friendly. The burgers are so juicy and meaty. The fries were hot and fresh and not overly salty like some of the other fast food places. I got the double patty burger (the working man) and it was more than I could handle. It was so delicious and juicy, but such a big burger. Definitely will go there again, I'll just make sure to get the single patty next time. read more

Burger Boy - Drive thru - Burgers Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

Driving through SA today I realized it had been 7 months since I have had a burger. (unbelievable I know). I saw Burger Boy though I'd give a try. The experience started off great with Leslie taking my order, she made several suggestions, I went with the workman combo with cheese and jalapeños. As I drove down the road I snuck a couple of the crinkle cut fries which were perfectly cooked crispy on the outside and warm and soft inside, with the perfect amount of salt. I then took a bite of the burger and then another enjoying every single bite. This has to be the best fast food burger in San Antonio. read more

I'm partial to this place, have enjoyed the burgers for quite some time. Very tasteful and juicy... love the fries, have a good taste to them.Try it for yourself and you're probably going to like it read more

Came by this spot and was intimidated by the loooong drive-thru line... glad I stayed, the line went by faster than I've seen at a driv-thru for some time. Bravo! I bought a few combos to take home and had to get me an Oreo shake. Yummy! The fries were fresh... nice and crisp, burger was ok, but would like to give it a try as a dine in customer. No photos of the combos and they disappeared in a blink of an eye. Thank you to the friendly staff who made certain that I had my correct order. read more

The burgers are legit!!! I usually get the Bates Special (burger, fries, drink) it's filling enough for me. The meat is always fresh & love the texture of the buns. Not much of a fry guy but they have decent fries. The combination of a burger with a shake is very enjoyable. I love that burger boy has limited edition shakes e.g. fruity pebbles The staff is very friendly & the store was clean. I'll definitely return & recommend this place. read more

Always great customer service. The cashier Jewel was super nice and friendly. Speedy service as well everytime.

We used the drive through on our recent visit to this location. It was our first time, so we were not familiar with the menu. Anthony took our order after explaining what our choices were. He was knowledgeable, friendly & super professional. He repeated our order back to us perfectly, thanked us and wished us well as we drove forward. Our order did not take long to receive & was exactly what we ordered. The experience was very nice and the food was delicious. We would definitely return as well as recommend this location, l in particular, to our family & friends. Ask for Anthony. He's a gem!!! read more

Staff was great and friendly on 4/24. Burgers were good. Probably the best burgers on the South side of San Antonio

Really outstanding burgers! Seriously so good. They look pretty basic on the outside but the flavor of the meat to the perfectly toasted bun makes it all worth it. The prices are fantastic (family of 4 for ~$30!), and the orange freeze/dreamsicle shake are amazing. The atmosphere is like a classic burger shop, with dine-in or to-go options, and the service was great. This will definitely be a stop when we come back to San Antonio! read more

Lindsey was so amazing, took my order quick and made me laugh. Love her positive energy, definitely would recommend. Will return soon

I went here yesterday for lunch. Wondering if it was like the one in Maui. IT WAS NOT! That's not a bad thing. I went through the drive through and the server there was very polite and took my order. I ordered a Bates Special with jalapeño (will say more on that) and a shake. The shake was awesome, perfect size, great straw, and they added sprinkles. It was very cool. I appreciate that. Now the fries were awesome. I would had preferred some seasoning but well made. Lastly, the burger. It was good the jalapeños OMG it was like the jar broke over my burger because there was so many. My mouth was on fire. I know this sounds like a complaint but I'm not sure I liked it but did not. I feel just a little less would have been amazing. Either than that I liked it. Give it a try. read more

I live the original Burger Boy on St. Mary's and thought this one would hold up to its name. That was a big fail. I did the drive through in order to take my lunch back to work. I just asked for it to be dry and extra pickles. I was shocked when I peeked in my burger to see a mess of mustard smeared with my lettuce. I had to toss my bun and lettuce that was covered in mustard. I was very disappointed that this location got my order wrong. I will not be visiting this location again. I'd rather drive down to the Original. read more

It was our first time eating at Burger Boy and we did not enjoy it. The restaurant had a "dirty rag" smell which should have been my first sign to leave but we wanted to give it a chance. I was excited for the crinkle cut fries but they were super salty. The burgers were also salty and dry. We ended up just throwing away our food after a couple of bites. I am not sure if we just caught them on a bad day. read more

Man I love this place!! Burger Boy is the best place for quick burgers in San Antonio. And this is coming from a Whataburger fan. Stopped by this one on the southeast side after visiting the SA Missions and of course they always meet my expectations! Great burgers, friendly staff and you never have to wait for a long time. And don't forget the Orange Freeze.... my favorite!!! I think I have been to all the Burger Boys except one. I give them four stars because it is a burger joint. But it is a great Burger Joint! read more

Excellent customer service guaranteed. Fresh made to order burgers the only down fall is the parking it is so busy that while people wait for their order to go you are left waiting to exit because of the high traffic.
