Customer service here is absolutely the worst. It takes forever to get your food and the employees don't even care. I stopped going to get food here for a while because the service was so terrible, and finally went back last night hoping they would've stepped it up over the past several months. Nope. Probably the worst Whataburger on the planet. Thought it would be nice to have a Whataburger in Prosper, just around the corner. But no. I find myself driving to McKinney or Frisco just to avoid the fiasco that is Whataburger Prosper Texas. I have already been given 2 free meals because they always screw the order up. Not to mention the multiple times that it just isn't worth my time even calling them. This time around this morning...the curbside order was about 20 minutes late. No salsa, no napkins, got the wrong drink. Oh! And they randomly decided to cover my taquito in jalapeños when I didn't ask. How nice of them. Not to mention I have a 15 month old who I always haul around. He wasn't very happy about it either. Can't go inside because corona. Awful. A simple order that was "lost" twice, over charged once and given the incorrect order. The cashier and manager blamed it on the computer system, yet, when we re-placed our order, it was still incorrect and we were over charged. The cars in front of us also had similar issues. When we pulled up to the first window, prior to knowing our order wasn't received, we were told the cars in front of us simply cut in line and that was the hold up. Not true. The staff was belittled by the manager who was berating them in front of us. We felt bad for these kids who likely were getting it from all sides. So let's start by saying i'm a frequent customer at whataburger just like most mid aged college students like myself, I have the app, I use rewards and I know my shit. I know good customer service and obviously whataburger isn't a chick-fil-a but this whataburger sets the bar pretty low. My visit today really set me off. It's there lunch rush and their are two lanes, my boyfriend and I proceeded to follow another truck into the second lane waiting for our food thinking okay, wait here the employee will collect our form of payment.. they have two lanes because it's busy. Apparently that made this young women's job so much harder as a lane behind us started to form. She was not the nicest about it either and voiced her opinion. Now I know she's not talking to me disrespectfully because of her miscommunication. I'm honestly done coming here and would rather drive to frisco or mckinney for a burger. Went to Whataburger and ordered 2 taquitos and a burger. Went inside because drive was very long. Waited over 20 minutes!! To top it off they got the taquitos order wrong. Paid for cheese and didnt get it. This is not the first time this Whataburger has had very slow servive. Been nurmous times and tend to have same issue, every time!! The food is great, when they get your order right. We will drive up the road to another Whataburger from now on. This one is so convenient for we live 5 minutes away. Very disappointed. read more

We placed a mobile order here and dined inside. Waited for 15-20 minutes (after telling the front counter that we placed an order) and asked if our food would be ready soon. They handed us our food right away. It was all so cold - obviously it had been sitting there the whole time. There was literally one other guest inside that had been served already, two cars in the drive thru and like 10 employees, so they weren't busy. Both my of our burgers were completely wrong and COLD! The only reason it got 1 star is because I cannot give it zero. I've been grossed out the last three times I've been there. Shame on me for going back again. I've seen workers go in the restroom and come out without washing their hands and go straight to the service line bagging up food orders to go. This last trip the cashier stuck his fingers down inside both cups to pick them up before filling. When I brought it to his attention he replaced one cup and picked the other cup up a second time with his fingers inside again. I've seen the workers wearing hats on top of their hair which was piled on top of their head about 4 inches above the scalp. I'm totally disgusted by the lack of the servers knowledge in food handling and the management lack of oversight. 1 star because zero isn't an option. I want to share the worst customer service experience I have had at ANY fast-food restaurant let alone the Whataburger at 1201 S Preston Rd, Prosper Tx. We went through the B line. We ordered and paid outside (very Chick Fil A). So far so good. Then we waited in the B line behind 4-5 cars. We finally got to the front behind one truck and waited for almost 15 minutes. The guy in the truck in front of us gave up and just left. 3-4 cars came & went through the A line who had ordered after us. We leaned out our window when the young girl opened the drive through window and asked when our food would be ready. She said, "I don't do B line" and closed the window in our faces. As if to say, "not my problem". This was the rudest jester of any fast-food worker I can remember. We called the manager, and she really did not do anything. Basic customer service would have been "so sorry, let me find out for you". I do not know if this was just the rudest young person and should not be working in a customer-facing position or a managerial problem lacking basic training of employees. Oh, and when we got our drinks, they were half full as if to say, "take that!" The girl actually leaned back out the window and told us again "I don't work B line" and closed the window in our faces a second time. After the second time, if this were my employee, she would have been fired. She SHOULD be fired or retrained. So should the manager. Either way, I am going to report this behavior at this location to Whataburger corporate. I would encourage everyone to avoid this location. So many other choices. We will not be back. read more

No exaggeration, every time I order from here I always receive an incomplete order no matter if im eating in or taking out. Longest drive through experience you will ever wait on. We love WHATABURGER but man this location need some serious help! We went in tonight and placed a to go order. Got home and the order was completely wrong. Husband drove back up there and the manager actually said "It's not my fault but I will fix it!". Her attitude was horrible and she needs a lesson in customer service. They had to ask me no less then 4 times what was wrong with my order. This isn't just a new issue but an ongoing issue since they opened. This location need to step it up if it wants to survive in Prosper. Lots of choices in a small radius. Wow. Wasn't surprised to see the 1.5 star reviews for this location. Using the drive thru, I was told that the 2nd Lane was not in operation so I needed to merge into Lane 1. So, I did that. Problem was that other people behind me did not follow the rules and pulled up into the 2nd Lane check out area. So, because I followed the rules, I spent an extra ten minutes in line while they served the people in Lane two who just pulled up to the checkout area anyway despite being told it was closed. An orange traffic cone would have solved everything. But instead I waited in the long line while they served the people who broke the rules. Then they got my order wrong anyway. Guess they either can't find good talent in Prosper or the manager doesn't have a clue on how to run this business. I called the hotline to let them know how disappointing this experience was. I have had a few bad experiences at this location. Wrong orders, items missing or forgotten and who can forget the 45 minute wait for a 2 car line in the drive through. I will paint the most recent picture. It is 1:45AM, I am in bed and get the urge for some Whata. I decide to go to the one closest to my house instead of the one on 380 and Custer just to keep it short, or so I thought. Now keep in mind it is 2AM, there is one car in the drive through line and 2 people inside. I wait 10 minutes to even be acknowledged at the order area. I order a patty melt meal with a Powerade, I am cut off before I can even finish the word Powerade with the oh so familiar, "will that complete your order." I say no and that I would also like avocado on the patty melt. Once again before I can start another word I hear, "will that complete your order" again. I say no I would also like a cinnamon roll and that is it. At this point I figure I should be in and out of there quickly as the car in front of me is now gone. Oh boy was I wrong. I sit at the drive thru window for what was at least 10 minutes as I watch the entire 5 person staff clean, talk and completely ignore me. After one of the girls finished cleaning the table, she comes to the window and I hand her my card, she runs it and gives it back. I sit in my truck and wait for my bag of delicious Whata to be given to me. I wait another 5 minutes to see all of the workers continuing to clean. When I make eye contact with one, she notices me and hands me my drink, 25 minutes after I pull up to an almost empty Whataburger. She gives me my drink and slowly makes her way to the food prep area while talking. I finally get my burger and fries about 10 minutes later. I ask where my cinnamon roll is and she informs me that she had forgotten about it. She hurried to get it for me and I leave. When I got home to dig in to my meal, something is wrong. It's missing something, the avocado. Upsetting yes, end of the world, no. I finish my burger and move to desert. I open the box and there sits a tiny, barely glazed, half frozen, almost raw cinnamon roll. TLDR- 35 minutes wasted on impatient ordering, workers not paying attention to customers/flat out ignoring them, burger that was missing extras and a 1/2 frozen, tiny cinnamon roll Save yourself the trouble and go to the Whata on the corner of 380 and Custer by the Walmart. read more

f I could give this location zero stars I would. Not only did the lady throw our food at us and walk away, she didn't give us our full fucking order while in drive thru. Then proceeded to ignore us as we saw her look at us several times before we had to result to literally knock on the window to have someone ( and this person was of management) then come yell at us that we were not allowed to do that before she asked us what we even needed. She was rude and gave nothing but attitude as we tried to explain our grievance. And a big emphasis on TRY as she would not let us even talk. Went here twice and experienced horrible customer service both times. The first time the cashier accused us of banging on the drive thru window which was completely false, she then proceeded to put an enormous amount of salt on our fries and they were literally inedible. She also slammed the drive thru window in our face. We called the manager to complain and she had an attitude with us. Went here again last night and we repeated something that we ordered because we thought the cashier didn't hear and she proceeded to say "yeah I got that" with an obvious attitude. I stopped this morning to get breakfast around 10:30, both lines in the drive thru were open but they were trying to send everyone through one lane instead of having to walk the food out to the second lane. I started in the first line but it was not moving so moved over to the second thinking it would be faster after about 10 minutes of sitting there and the line not moving I decided to just pull around to go in to get my food. They seemed to have plenty of people working but no one was in a hurry to get things done and it seemed like total confusion in the kitchen.
