Just ordered a sub from them online via Uber eats using a buy one get one coupon. I ordered a basic sub plus a cookie What I got was basically a 6 inch sub, no free sub, and no cookie all for the whopping fee of $22 which included a four dollar tip to the Uber driver. Do these guys even look at the orders? Never never never never again. They are only getting a one star review because there are no negative stars. I honestly don't mind paying a premium and the delivery charges but they show as a no delivery fee place, but then add on a service charge. 2.2 stars? What is wrong with people. This place is great for a sun spot. Top tier as far as sandwich for lunch goes. A little slow but they are all hot subs, so I get it. In and out in 20 minutes not bad. Staff morale was high which is tough to do in this business. Not a fan of the donating to charity business model in general though. I had to have my sandwich remade because they put cheese on it when I didn't ask for cheese. There was a curly headed girl on the line who asked me what I needed I asked for it to be remade without the cheese and she basically threw the bag at me with an attitude after it was remade. The sandwiches we (hubby & I) ordered were the NY Steamer and the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar. We ordered through Doordash, which might be why the sandwiches were not warm when we received them, which was most likely due to finding a driver and the time between the making and the pickup and the delivery of the food. The sandwiches were decent, however we felt that the ingredients were not evenly distributed along the bread, and there seemed to be less meat than we usually receive when we go in person to order and eat in the establishment. A long line formed behind me and this guy is taking one order every 10 minutes, in between who knows what. These guys seem completely lost and genuinely in over their heads. We love firehouse and is our favorite sandwich place, but this location needs serious help. They are lacking on the amount of ingredients on a sandwich from meat, veggies and dressings. If you get a sandwich from here and compare to another firehouse you will see what I'm referring to. Customer service has been good and restaurant conditions are just fine. If you can fix the quality of the sandwich that Firehouse is, we will be loyal customers. Until then, we will take our money to another firehouse. 1st time (Apr 2020) at this location to get out of house for an adventure during the virus crises. Also the Smashburger place couldn't serve us for 20 min while filling a take out order. Our service here was fast and served hot. We got a 12" which was too much for us, better would have been 8" cut in half. While they offer 3 sizes of drinks they give everyone a large. They use a Coca-Cola beverage machine so you can get most any of the Coca Cola brand drinks. Also was nice to be noticed as a Marine from my cover by the order taker who is also a Marine. I made my first visit to this Firehouse Subs location for lunch today. Overall I would say that the experience was good on account of the food. Cleanliness and the manager's behaviors were a different story. Read on. My sandwich was made to order and the ingredients were fresh. It was presented nicely and looked as appetizing as it was delicious. It's a good value for a sandwich, chips, and drink combo. Freshly made food, done to order, is always great! I cannot complain about the lunch I had today. The restaurant needed serious cleaning, though. I agree with other reviewers that there seems to be a lack of commitment to appearance in this location. It's definitely dirtier than most other Firehouse Subs that I've been to in the past. For instance, there were straw wrappers, crumpled napkins, and other debris collecting on the floor near the drink station where customers fill their drinks. An employee went to refill ice bins in the drink machine but only kicked the paper trash out of his way with his foot. There was no effort to sweep up this debris, even when one customer said "eeeeww" when she approached. At one of the tables, a previous diner had left a huge mess (looked like a messy kid had been there) with sandwich pieces, Cheetos, and liquid having been left on the floor under the table. This was very noticeable when I walked in the door as it was the first table right inside the entry. An elderly couple came in for lunch and this was the last table available (everyone else had taken the non-dirty tables) so they sat there. The manager brought their food out to them and appeared to not even notice that the couple was sitting in someone else's mess. He never made any attempt to clean it up or to ask anyone else to do so. I felt sorry for these two older people. They are quickly and left. In general, the staff was very friendly and attentive. I was greeted with polite smiles and positive attitudes. The manager was present and appeared to have a positive working relationship with the crew, which is always a good sign of how comfortable the staff seems. My food was made quickly and to order. Other than the cleanliness issue (which was odd for the fact that this location hasn't been open long), all was well. But this cleanliness issue was over the top as it appeared no one in the place cared. Even as business died down after the lunch rush, there was no attempt to tidy up. Multiple reviewers have commented on this so I don't understand why cleanliness isn't on the radar of the people who run this place. Very strange. On my way out, I asked the manager (Marcus) if he intended to clean any of the dirty spots, especially where he had made the elderly couple sit in a mess. He was very confrontational and rolled his eyes. He said "we were planning to sweep it up at some time." He asked why I wanted to know, and said his staff "has everything taken care of, thank you!" Manager had a bad attitude because we came in 10 minutes before closing, one of the workers was stoned out of his brain, and we caught the manager making snide remarks to one of the employees about us. I am sooooo upset with this place tonight. I just ordered two stake and cheese subs and ordered one with double meat. When I picked them up and checked them it was clear that they both had the same amount of meat on them and it was clear to me that neither had double meat. I don't normally write reviews but this was so bad I had to. So I forgot my mask, which I understand is required. So, in place of it I decided to put my shirt over my face upon entering the store and kept it there whilst ordering. All 4 of the employees working at 11:30 on Tuesday 9/1 saw me with the cover and were fine with it. My buddy and I ordered, and then stood with our masks still on waiting for our food. We decided to go ahead and eat our chips and drink whilst waiting, which again was fine with the employees. A man walked in without a mask, and they asked him to put one on. Then, out of now where, we were singled out and told we had to wear a mask while we were still eating our chips, and upon cooperating I was told that my face covering was not sufficient, even though the employee telling me it wasn't good enough didn't even have the mask covering his nose. They then had the audacity to tell me I could not be in the store, and was told I had to wait for my food outside in the middle of a Texas Thunderstorm with minimal covering from the rain... my shoes got nice and soaked from it to say the least. All in all it took 25 minutes to make 2 subs, they made me wait in the rain, and they forgot to put ranch on both mine and my buddy's turkey bacon ranch sub. On my home and called my son and asked if he wanted anything for dinner he said he wanted a sub. I told him I would have to go back to Frisco as we would never go to firehouse Prosper. He said that he thinks they have new owner and he stopped there and it was great. Stopped in and was shocked as I was greeted as soon as I hit the door. Food was excellent. I've visited this location twice through DoorDash pickup. So far, it's been a pleasant experience and the subs and salads are exactly what I expected. Avoid this location at all costs! I placed an online order for pickup at 6:45pm that would be ready at 7:05pm. Walked in at 7 and didn't receive the (very simple) order until 7:28pm. We asked multiple times what the issue was and employees assured us that they were working on it. New customers kept coming in, ordering, and receiving their food before we received our order. Finally, after several times asking for our order, an employee discovered that our order had been made but put on top of the oven? Not on the order pickup rack. No apology. Just cold sandwiches that had been sitting in the wrong spot for at least 15-20 minutes. There were 6 employees working - this was not an issue of not being fully staffed.
