My daughter picked up smash burgers for us. We tried the avocado bacon green goddess burger. It was pretty good but they out way too much dressing I it making it a messy glib. The spicy burger was good. The other burger which was plainer also had way too much dressing. If there is a next time, I will ask than to put less dressing. read more

This is my first time to this Smashburger location. We love our usual Classic Smashburger burgers and the sweet potato French fries and our visit here did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean, including the restroom, and the workers were pleasant and took great care to deliver the food as ordered. The only thing different from what I'm used to was the lettuce on the burgers. They weren't whole lettuce leafs, but strips of lettuce. Absolutely not it. I was looking forward to a delicious burger & sweet potato fries, but was significantly underwhelmed by both the flavor, presentation, and service at Smashburger. The Classic Smashburger had really basic burger flavor, not awesome, but terrible, but would have tasted the same as picking up a burger from a fast food chain. I was excited to eat the sweet potato fries, which I was certain would redeem the mediocre burger, but unfortunately, they tasted less like sweet potatoes and more like old grease, and were dark/brown in color. The floor was full of debris, leaves, spilled drinks, and random french fries. Additionally, my burger order was not correct. I want to meet the guy that read my Uber eats order and decided to put 5 sauces on my burger; not on the side. And his parents to ask what went wrong. I got smash sauce, which comes on it, along with mustard, mayo, aoli mayo and ranch for my fries and tots. They put every. Sauce. On. My burger. It was dripping with sauce and soaked into the meat and bread. It's like every burger ingredient the meat, cheese, lettuce, and bun had a layer of sauce in between. First and last time at Smash Burger!!! First, after paying about $10 per burger (with tax), we were expecting a BIG burger, similar to the ones pictured and showed on their website and menu on the wall. Our burgers were very small (kid's size), not much of anything on them, no sauce, no lettuce, no tomato, no pickle, and both patties were burned (black!). The 2 burgers (Colorado and the other one we can't recall the name) were way too small for the price and even not good at all!!! And WAY over-priced!! The French fries were OK, nut nothing special about them, just generic frozen fries from Costco... Then, after we placed our order with the casher, she said it'd take 15 minutes to make our burgers and fries... We said OK, but we got our order only 30 minutes later!!! Why so long to prepare 2 burgers and 2 side of fries?... During these 30 minutes we had to wait, we had to clean our table (that was dirty) ourselves, clean our seats (which were also dirty and way too small to comfortably seat an average size Texan - the seats were also kid's size!), get our drinks from a dirty fountain station, and we used the bathroom, which was also dirty, with no soap and nothing to clean and wipe your hands. Went to Smashburger after a day out since we were hungry and we've eaten at Smashburger before. We ordered our meal to go. One of my kids ordered Chicken Tenders and when we started eating at home she noticed her chicken looked a bit pink. Low and behold it was super pink and disgusting. I'm appalled that this establishment would serve that to their customers. The icing on the cake in this scenario was that they forgot to add one of the regular fries we ordered. Our sons won their baseball game and we decided to try Smashburger for the first time ever. We walk in the door, the boys sit down and as we are looking at the menu the gentleman walked around the counter and very rudely says just so you know we close in 8 minutes. I was shocked. There were other customers in there eating. They were still open even. I said well I that's pretty rude. And we turned around got our kids and left. And let's talk about the attire of one of the girls working there wearing jeans with the entire front torn out of them all the way up to the crease in her thigh. Way more than a family needs to be seeing, they don't even show that much a hooters. Tacky, very unprofessional. We didn't know their hours. This could have been completely handled differently. After leaving a five star review I'm now listing a one star review. First time I have ever done this. Not only does their app not work nobody answers the phone to take an order. Called three days in a row at multiple times during the day. Finally went in and ordered and called from the counter to see if they worked. They do. They just don't answer. Glad to see in the time of covid and people having to order by phone and such that this business is so busy they don't need online or phone orders. This was my first trip to Smashburger. The attractive brunette at the register took my order, a burger and a shake, but she never looked up and acted like she would rather be anywhere else but there. It took about 15 minutes to get my burger but no shake. After a couple minutes I went to the front and asked about my shake and the guy by the kitchen window said it was on the way and pointed to the lady who took my order who was standing by the shake machine. I stood there for a couple of minutes she did nothing so I went back to my table and ate more of my burger. After about 10 more minutes I was almost finished with my burger so I went back up to the brunette and said I was almost finished eating and I still hadn't gotten my shake. She looked up and said, "do you want a refund?" and I said no, I would like my shake and stood there while she finally started making it. Ordered a Smashburger tonight with Smashfries. Let me start by saying that the very first experience I ever had with Smashburger, I was on-site. It was a relatively new concept back in 2011 and I was at their location off Highway 394 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. It was off the chain ya'll. It was so good. The burger was juicy, the fries were hot and that spice...wow. Just a great experience. Fast forward to today.... Full disclosure, I ordered from Door Dash, but this food came quick. Like...they didn't deliver another order first, there was no delay. Nothing like that. Time from the order to the delivery was 10 minutes, and that was from Prosper to McKinney. University is never that fast. So I know the issues aren't because of the Dasher. The burger was tasty. I'll give them that. But it was ridiculously small. The lettuce and tomato were anemic, and when I compare it to that first Smashburger experience, it just made me sad and nostalgic for the good ol' days. And get this...the fries were ice cold. So cold. You have to know that they were sitting for a while, because as I said, the food came quick. I get that Smashburger is a fast food spot, and we occasionally make allowances for that. But seriously...this was above and beyond bad. I know for a fact that if they cared about their food and their customers, they could do so much better. New Smash Burger place in prosper. Overall great visit. Almost became a bad experience. Me and the family were towards the end and I got up to get a refill as I come back one of the employees that walk around cleaning up tables and asking customers if they are done with their tray so they can pick it up. So as I approached the table he asked my wife if we were done with this (my tray that still had about half my fries) I said no not yet as he still picked it up and I repeated no not yet. He st it back down and said ok. As I'm eating my fries about 5 min later I hear are you done with this, with his arm over my shoulder reaching for the tray and a few fries left on it .
