just now I've had nothing but great experiences here from cashiers who know how to do their job and do it well but when I was served the other day I was served terrible food terrible customer service attitude and forgotten items. I have reached out and made a corporate complaint but haven't received a call back yet I have Whataburger rewards and every time I scan with the cashier they ask me if I would like to use whatever current deal they are having or my earned reward. Well this was not the case this time and I tried getting the employees attention her name was Sophia. When I told Sophia I wanted to use the deal she says well I already ran your card with so much attitude and she is terrible. If you hate your job so much Sophia get a new one and some perspective in life. I asked to speak to a manger Amanda who is almost just as bad no customer service skills same terrible attitude refused to make it right stating her system won't allow her to fix the issue how is this the customers fault ?And before Amanda came to talk to me I heard little Ms Sophia talking about me to Amanda I could hear every word she said. talk about unprofessionalism.Amanda should not be a manager as she has no customer service skills and and a bad attitude just like the employees working under her she should be leading by example but the only example she sets is terrible customer service and a poor attitude.think twice before you visit this location on the night shift I would give no stars if I could. read more

Best Patty Melt I have ever had at a fast food chain. Stopped by on my way out of Phoenix before hitting the road and ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and a patty melt on Texas Toast. A few hours later while at a rest stop had the double cheeseburger and it was good. But to me the patty melt is where it's at. Check them out for the Patty Melt not the Burger. read more

We went out of our way to visit this particular one because of its 4 star rating, and they exceeded expectations...7 people in our family and not one complaint about any part of the meal or service. A Fast Food Favorite Whataburger has been in the business of serving food for a very long time. You cant make it in the fast food industry for as long as Whatburger has by serving bad food. The service at Whataburger is always fast, friendly, and accurate. My nephew and I ordered our food and went to a table, before I knew it our food was brought to the table. The food was fresh, hot, and oh so good. The burger patties at Whatburger aren't thick but the lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mustard and bun really do make for a tasty burger. I also enjoy Whatburger's breakfast items. The Breakfast on a Bun with sausage and grilled onions is pretty good, as are the pancakes. People there that do not understand english or or speak it properly enough to take your order and get it correct. Once you finally get through the drive-thru line and actually get your food it is quite good. Today, I waited nearly 15 mins at the window for my tea and it was wrong. I waited another 5 mins. I ended up getting frustrated and drove away even after I paid. I understand it takes time to make good food but they are extremely unorganized. I worked in food service for many, many years and this is not how its supposed to be. My time is worth something. The time of the 5 or 6 customers behind me is worth something. I don't get the comparison to In N Out on the West coast and now a bit further East. This is not in the same conversation with In N Out. Not fresh meat or buns, patties looks smaller and are definitely drier. They do have more choices on the menu and there were a few thing I wanted to try but only had one shot as I was traveling through town. Not a bad burger but there is an In N out about 2 miles down the 10. the Spicy chicken was fantastic, my buddy had that. The service was good, plenty of parking and seating. read more

Ok so I'm a fan, always have been always will be. This location is the closest to my home which in honesty isn't that close and the area is not so great. This is a smaller Whataburger but it's always clean, usually full and staff has always been really nice. I really like Whataburger. Their meat is always fresh and never frozen. You can have your Whataburger made with so many different ways. They do have a couple of negative things which is why the four stars. There is not a lot of seating space and they do take a longer time to get you your order then most fast food places. I am traveling from Texas to California and wanted to hit my favorite burger chain for breakfast before I got out there. Pulled up a couple minutes after 6am right when the dine in lobby was supposed to open. I walked up and it's locked- no problem, they probably just need a few minutes to set up. For the next half hour I saw more staff slowly start to show up. There had been plenty of staff inside standing around, drinking coffee and clearly joking around. At about 6:30 I call and ask if they'll be opening the dining room soon. They said they didn't have enough morning staff in to open it yet. As I said earlier, there were plenty of staff inside.. however now they were starting to "set up" the dining room. So instead of waiting for them to set up, which would've taken who knows how long, I decided to go to another location. The location I'm currently at (Avondale) has less than half the staff present, but has its dining room open. It's unfortunate to find such inconsistency in a chain that you love. read more

Some lady came in demanding her onion rings she didnt get that she ordered, and the staff gladly helped her they explained that it wasn't on her receipt and they didnt cahrge her for it but that they'll gladly take care of it and walked her to her car and brought her a fresh order of onion rings. Seriously Whataburger, What happen?! Your chicken strip meal used to be the bomb with big strips of chicken. Now they look very plain and small. My 3 strip meal had about 6 pieces in it that should have been called the Popcorn chicken meal! And the toast used to be a thick piece of bread that went good with the white gravy that was left over after using it for the strips/nuggets. The only thing making the meal now is the white gravy & french fries. Do the world a favor! I'm a Big Whataburger fan. We've eaten at Whataburger for years in TX, OK &Tempe. We were on the west side & popped in to this location. The tables were filthy, No Sweet Tea (how is this possible?), 2 - #5 combos ordered and 1 other combo. The burgers were slipped together,1/2 of bacon and toppings were in the wrapper, tomatoes and pickles stacked all on top of each other, 6 tiny pieces of lettuce, stale fries, and a cold patty. The only thing that was generous was the mustard, which was way too much. The bathroom did have coded door to prevent undesirable going in, but the bathroom was super dirty. They did have a lot of team members working, and it was steady. If this had been my first experience at Whataburger, I'd never eat at another one. I'd pass this one up and try another location if this is your only Whataburger that you've eaten, try a different location. It's usually way better in flavor and standards. read more

I went there at 10:20 pm on a Tuesday night and it literally took 15 minutes to get my food with no line in front of me the service is actually so bad just go to i-n-out and spend literally half the price and get served twice as fast when they have a line around the building unlike whataburger. The staff here are friendly, fast, and accurate. I'm pretty picky and they always make my orders exactly right. My only complaint is the milkshakes. On their app they advertise different sizes (16oz, 32oz, etc). But in reality if you order a 16oz they still charge for the 32oz. Also I ordered strawberry and it wasnt very tasty. Love this place, when you walk into the joint the smell of burgers slaps you in the face! I got the number #5 and it was very delicious. First time eating here and I have to say I will be back, burgers are a very good size. If it's your first time eating here make sure to ask what you don't want in your burger because I hate mustard and in my first bite I had realized it had some, still enjoyed it but removed all the mustard I could. Another thing was that they charge for barbecue sauce etc. That's the only thing I dislike about my visit, so 4 stars is my rate. read more
