Walked in and they were extremely busy both inside and the drive-thru. If you hadn't seen the long line of people you wouldn't have known they were busy because the restaurant was exceptionally nice and clean. The service was super fast! I waited maybe 7 minutes max to get my food. My food was nice and hot and the staff was very courteous. The manager was out on the floor helping out everywhere. My sweet tea was actually sweet and not bitter or overbearing. We even received a complimentary promotional tote. Ximena ( I hope I spelled her name correctly) was very nice, listened when I ordered my food and got everything correct. Whataburger - Burgers Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

We (my friend and I) ordered shakes (the shakes were just fine) from drive-thru and they had a worker on the other side of the drive-thru standing in the Phoenix heat with a black hat and black pants claiming to have been told to do credit/card payments, but they ended up accepting our card in the drive-thru anyways, making it to where she was virtually standing out in the heat with no shade for multiple hours for no reason. The workers inside were lackluster on switching, and the supervisor who apparently is supposed to come and supervise every day is failing to make it in to his shifts in a timely and orderly manner. Not to mention, she is probably getting paid the same, if not less, than the people who have the same job, but get to sit in A/C and shade. I'd wish these multi-million grossing companies would care more for the people who actually generate them their dough at ground level. Just hope to bring eyes to this. read more

Four stars for good service. Truly never had bad service here, but the restaurant is too small and there are never enough seats. You wait to order because you don't want your food to get cold while waiting for Father Time to get up from his patty melt, then instead of people being courteous, they snatch the next available table out from under you (when they walked in after you) before Father Time has swallowed his last bite. Please make this store bigger. The amount of business alone should make it worth your while. read more

Ok im from California and always saw this place on youtube and different tv shows so i was super excited. I was finally in Arizona and was able to try a burger from this place ive heard so much about. Sooo the burger comes with onion and mustard thats it the meat was ok at best, kind of taste like a wendys double stack without the toppings. I was very disappointed. After having In n Out, Habit, The Hat, Fat burger, Five guys etc. this place is at the bottom, maybe i should have added cheese and it would have been better, even the fries were cold Ive had better at the hole in the wall spot. Came in 11/28/17 ordered about 40.00 plus in meals to go all fries with meals were old no heat at all. Burgers had absolutely no lettuce cold bacon added to 2 of the meals. I Love whataburger but this location has to suck. Never experienced anything like this but here. Glad I don't live near this location I happened to be passing this way going home. My brother and I went and ordered. He got a #3 asked for no mustard, onions or Mayo. Asked to add ketchup and bacon. His burger had onions and Mayo. And it was cold. I had asked for a number 5 which should have been a double bacon whataburger & instead there was no bacon, it wasn't a double and they added ketchup(didn't ask for it) & the burger was cold. We've been there multiple times and every time we go out order was messed up in some type of way. If you can't get it right and have it at least warm too then might as well not go there. It's some real bs. Yes I know y'all get busy and it's Covid outside but that shouldn't stop you from making the food right & the way we asked. && the workers who helped weren't even wearing masks ‍ my brother said to also complain about the cracked cup they gave him. I actually had a really good experience at this place. We went out from California for the Packers vs Cardinals game and were nervous to eat anywhere in Arizona with our packers gear. Lol. But seriously the employees here were excellent. Service was great, friendly, and they were very attentive. The food was also good. So I've been back several more times since my last review & let me tell you that they have stepped it up a notch! The general manager Gibran is still there and since being there this place has improved 100%. The staff are more friendly & helpful, my order has been right every time for my last 6 visits and it doesn't take as long like it used to. This location is a training location now so that speaks for itself. It is clean inside & out regardless of what time I go. There hasn't been a change of employees in awhile either. This was my first time eating there and I can say that the food and service is absolutely amazing. I felt very respected and welcomed when i entered this establishment. The girl who helped me with my order was very sweet and very understanding. I didn't quite catch her name but she had red hair. Her welcoming attitude really made the food taste a lot better because it showed me that the food was made with care. The food was great. Nothing was over cooked or messy. The bacon on my burger however was not good and they left off my husband's bacon, but he didn't miss anything because I ended up taking mine off. The burger was hot fresh and a big portion.
